I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I'm so glad I decided to have TopResume review and update my resume. I feel so much more confident applying for positions using a resume that truly reflects my skillset. I am very happy with the final product. Great communication, great response time. Highly recommend!

The response and turn-around time was impressive. I enrolled in the program on a Saturday morning and wasn't expecting a first draft until at least Tuesday. I had a first draft of my resume and cover letter sitting in my inbox in less than 24 hours! The communication with my writer was easy and each draft's turn-around time was quick. I am rating this service 4/5 stars because after 1-week of applying for jobs I still haven't received any call backs for an interview. [I know this isn't necessarily a reflection of the quality of service, just that my info. May not have been reviewed by employers yet.]
Tip for consumers:
I did think this service was very expensive but was pleased with the final outcome. I hope it will result in interviews and a job like the service guarantees.

Extremely receptive to my ideas and what I was seeking to achieve. Fast turn-around time for the rough draft and completed product. I wish I would have done this a long time ago. I would recommend Top Resume to anyone looking to make themselves stand out in the current job market.

I used TopResume to update my resume after being in the same position for over 10 years. They helped me to bring it up to date and also make it where it could be used in various positions. Feedback and review was excellent and I would definitely recommend and use again!

I had my CV and cover letter revised by TopResume and in general I was satisfied with the result. At first, they left out some important part of my experience probably in order to fit the information in one page, but after some iterations this was solved. I wanted to include the information because in my opinion it was vital for the kind of work I am looking for.
The CV and cover letter were well written and well formatted.
Service took longer than I expected.

I signed up for their service. Several days later I received an email letting me know it was delayed. Then I received another email, apologizing for the delay.
At this point, I requested a refund. Suddenly, my draft arrived. By this time, I wanted nothing to do with the company as it seemed unprofessional and a bit "scammy."
Now they're refusing to refund the money and claiming they delivered on time, despite the initial emails apologizing for it being delayed.
There are other service out there... Use them!

After many years of using the same resume format, I decided it was time for a new resume reflecting my experience, and that would work w the technology in use by HR software, etc. The writer was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and I would recommend their resume service.

The resume looks good at first glance but once you read the content of the resume it's very disappointing. The person who did my resume didn't take the time to read the information I had given them about my previous work experience so everything was very vague because they didn't know anything about my pat work experience. I have not received an interview and it has been over 3 months. I had to pay someone else to do my resume and was able to get an interview within 2 weeks.

Honestly, I gave Adam little to work with. My last resume was from 8 years ago when I was right out of college. Adam took the information I provided and made me want to hire myself!

I had issues coming up with a suitable resume for Federal employment being that the experience they were looking for was nearly 20yrs old. I felt I would no longer be relevant. There are several packages to choose from and once you select and click the purchase button the fun begins. A response to begin the process begins within minutes. I answered a few questions, uploaded my latest resume then waited for them to select a resume writer. Within 24 hours my writer contacted me. Six days later I had my first draft. I had some questions, made some suggestions, and 1 day later I had the final product. The whole process was fast, efficient and effective. I love my new resume! I received the first contact with a recruiter and it was for something I would actually like... and it has nothing to do with selling insurance or telemarketing, not that those are bad, just not my choice. The document is editable so it can grow as my career grows.

I've had resumes professionally completed previously and the examples of resumes these folks provided could only have been worse if they were written in crayon. Poor language, completely erroneous information which wasn't corrected even after feedback given. Way too much money for the worst resume I've ever seen. Definitely no money back guarantee, please do NOT WASTE your money!

I wrotw a poor review of this company "May A Well Have Flushed That Money" and Jenna M responded, saying thats not how my experience should have been. She urged me to contact customer service and somebody would be in touch right away. They were - and said tough luck we cant help you. Don't wast your money with these people - there are plenty of legitimate firms in this space

I paid these guys to craft an effective LinkedIn profile. They took my resume and existing profilr and shuffled a few words, adding no new content and zero value. Shop around before working with these folks - they are amateurs

TopResume is a complete scam. You will only get a garbage resume written by someone with zero education and not from this country. The customer service is horrible and it is impossible to get a full refund. Do not believe any good review. Trust me, I wish I had listened to all the bad reviews. I tried to dispute the charge with AMEX, that didnt work either. I wish I could attach the resume & cover letter it's horrible. Don't get ripped off like I did.

I received great customer service from my writer and my drafts were sent to me in a timely manner. I had my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn account redone and I was very impressed with the work my writer did! She took the time to answer all of my questions and comments about her revisions in detail and she also explained why they were necessary. My resume and cover letter were re-constructed in such a way that made my qualifications more obvious for the positions to which I was applying.
