I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
After signing up for a job search site, I received a free TopResume critique of my resume. I continued to receive emails promoting their services. After some debate, I decided to purchase the Career Evalution package, which included a new resume and cover letter. I completed the writer matching inquiry and was paired with Fred D. For the most part, I was pleased with my first draft and had a few suggestions and feedback. When my second draft was sent to me, it still contained an error in my email address. Other than that, it was corrected well. The entire process took about a week. My cover letter sounds a little generic, but I like that I have the ability to alter it for each job application. Overall, I was pretty pleased with this service and know it will pay off into the future. Thanks so much, TopResume!

Overall the experience was very good. I initially paid for the resume and cover letter service. Those were so well written that I decided to sign-up for Resume distribution, LinkedIn re-write and Resume Posting services. I am confident that using these services will make it easier for me to get my dream job.

Sharon was great to work with, responsive to revisions and very professional. I am very happy with the final result. My resume was in dire shape as I had not gone through it in years. Maria at TopResume went through every line of mine and tailored it to my profession. I was nervous at first as I thought it was going to be a cookie cutter type resume, but I was dead wrong. The final product was perfect for me and professionally done. I was surprised when I received the reply from Top Resume -only because my inbox is filled with numerous spam and emails from companies promising to help me with my job search or to deposit money into my bank account. I was ecstatic when I opened the email from Top Resume and in fact it was a thoroughly detailed evaluation of my resume. Not only do I agree with their critique, but I am kicking myself for not utilizing this service sooner. In working on the suggested edits to my resume I can already tell the revisions are making me stand out to myself. There's something about this new resume that makes me proud of my accomplishments and it allows me to respectfully appreciate all of my work experience; what a boost for my self confidence! You know the resume gets your foot in the door, self confidence is what you need at the interview when trying to land your dream job. Top Resume has provided me with both. Thank you top Resume!

If you are unsure if you want to rewrite your resume or hire someone to do for you, at least get the evaluation performed by TOP RESUME. You'll thank me when you receive their feedback. Then decide how you will get your resume from the bottom of the pile- to the very top!

Never deal with this company, they dont fulfill there promises, as far as time and they dont feel your frustration, and they blame it on holiday, although I submit my request way before 4th of July, but still they have the the holiday for excuse. And they well charge you $50.00 if you cancel if they start on your order and they dont care if they fulfill there promise or not, so I called my bank to dispute and I win the case. So dont use this company, my friend advise me to go to any public library and they will help writing your Resume for free, I might try it

It is a difficult thing to be able to translate yourself onto paper. This was my biggest problem when trying to write my own resume--it was not a proper representation of who I was. Top Resume helped me to bring my resume up to par and reflect who I was as a professional. I had a few issues in the beginning, but customer support handles it swiftly and efficiently. My second writer was dedicated and worked very hard to change my resume to my liking. This is worth it and there is even an option for payment plans. The writers know what employers are looking for and even small details such as favorable fonts and layouts.

I had an excellent experience with Top Resume! The platform involves answering questions in detail and made it really easy to describe my skills and accomplishments. I haven't had a conventional job history, I've worked in diverse roles and my previous resume didn't offer a story, it was just a bullet list of duties at each one. The writer was able to refine my experience and the end result appears more fluid and explanatory - and interesting! I am very pleased with the resume and cover letter. If you're considering whether or not to take advantage of this service, consider this: within two weeks of putting it online, I was contacted for interviews with 2 companies and miraculously received a job offer and begin a new chapter for the new year! I've used my old resume for a while and I couldn't get any attention. With help of Tiffany, now I'm very confident with my application. The resume is perfect for my needs. I can use that resume with many job application, and I only need to change a few words here and there to match with the keywords in job descriptions. Cover letter is solid. Tiff also helped me to edit my LinkedIn profile. Tiff almost forgot my revision end date, but i didn't mind that. Just calm and give your writers time and you will be satisfied with the documents.

Nika did a great job on my resume and cover letter. I filled out a questionnaire right after signing up, and she responded in less than 12 hours with the first draft. I only had to make a couple simple revisions. It's more clear, and organized, and highlights my accomplishments and abilities at each job. She was always professional and prompt. I decided to give TopResume a chance at improving my resume. I wasn't disappointed. A writer was assigned after a few days. That individual deconstructed my resume and carefully put it back together in such as way as to highlight my skills and experience. It is well worth the investment. They also prepared professional cover letter that I can use for every application I submit

I showed the resume to people and they offered to help me rewrite it. One of the people who interviewed me asked me to talk about details of one job that I wanted highlighted the most and it ended up near the bottom of the page and pretty bland and unnoticeable. I needed a resume quick so I took what I could get and tried to work with it but it left much to be desired.

Well, my resume looks entirely different than it did before. But they didn't really interact... they rewrote it and sent it over for review. I made changes and remarks and the writer just made the changes i wrote down and never offered any advice. I also asked for my resume to lead away from sales as the ATS plopped me under sales before... after my resume was complete i asked for the results of it being run through ATS now and didn't get an answer

I found this service to be an absolute waste of money. I was expecting a re-write and modernized version of the baseline documents I provided. I was shocked when I received a downgraded resume and throw away cover letter for $200. When I expressed my frustrations to customer service I received a generic response. Do yourself a favor and spend an hour with a standard resume template and buy yourself a steak dinner with the remainder.

Stay away, spend an hour yourself, use free templates available online and buy yourself a steak dinner with the money you saved.

I was partnered with Ellen N. To help me get a resume that would highlight my career, and she did just that. The response time was great and the turnaround for the finished product was exceptional. She needed no direction from me, and she quickly took care of the changes I had requested which were wording and additions. She took care of the changes quickly and had them back to me with four days to spare. She did an excellent job of formatting and DID NOT use out of date wording. It was also written so that it is appropriate to use for a career change. Great job! My expectations were exceeded, and I am more than satisfied with my end result.

As a former college professor transitioning to a new career I found that some of things I was taught and was teaching was misinformed and dated. Times have changed and so has social thinking about what it means to apply for a job.
