I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
Op Resume is a total scam. An absolute ripoff. They take an extremely long time to deliver anything and what they deliver are the most generic, poor quality and inaccurate materials. They don't properly respond to feedback or complaints; won't issue refunds; and do not deliver what they promised. Stay away from them.

I paid for the expedited professional package, which was supposed to have a 2-3 day turnaround time. It ended up being closer to a week and a half, the LinkedIn portion (which I had highlighted as the most important aspect) was an after thought, and they tried to overcharge me.
The resume had some nice keywords but wouldn't make sense to anyone reading it from my industry and will have to largely be rewritten.
Very disappointing experience when so many people could benefit from the promised results in a Covid-19 economy. Avoid!

My personal TopResume professional was Jon. He was nothing but complete honesty, professionalism, and perfection. If I thought something looked a little off, he either pointed out the formatting, or he made sure it was corrected within the very next revision. However, on that same note, there were VERY few things that needed to even BE revised on the FIRST revision of my professionally created resume. It was perfect! And now I have something to go by in my new career field. Not only did he create the best resume, he took all of that information and plugged it into a word document and it showed me how to create the perfect linkedin profile as well! Plus, the cover letter and the thank you letter are amazing as well.

I rated Top Resume 5 out of 5 because the service was outstanding. My writer Jamie was amazing and took the time to read thru the material I sent which included job descriptions as well as my past experience and achievements. I was sent a first draft which is great and we made some minor adjustments for the final draft. I also ordered a cover letter which I feel is a great bonus. The pricing is great compared to other companies who charge double or triple for the same service. I would highly recommend their service to everyone.

I was kind of scared to use TopResume at first because a resume is almost do or die with submitting online applications. I bought the plan where I got a cover letter and a resume. Kailyn was so great and SUPER quick about getting my first draft back to me. My resume only needed minor tweaks from the first draft. I would not hesitate to recommend TopResume to anyone! It is well worth the cost!

The quality of my new resume was beyond my expectations… it was professionally written with expert care, preciseness, details, and emphasis on my achievement. I think my resume was well done but lacks a personal touch. I feel that the service was a touch over-priced for the product provided. I also felt there was a time crunch through the process. I am not dissatisfied but I would recommend shopping around. Don't go solely on price but make sure you get exactly what you want.

Be sure to shop around. Not a terrible service. There may be better out there but they may be a perfect fit for you.

I was excited to get a professional opinion and rewrite on my resume. Until I saw what they had written. First, the look was terrible. Serif font and an odd length of 1.3 pages. Yes, one full page, then some of the next page! The next thing I noticed was that the job that was in big bold letters isn't a title I have ever held. Under that the bullet said I was this title I wasn't, in an industry I've never worked in! Scrolling through the body of the document was even worse. I highlighted everything that was false and about 90% of the page ended up with a red comment. The writer clearly didn't understand the jargon of the industry I work in, but tried to write sentences like she understood and it just sounded embarrassing. I would NEVER use the product that I was provided!

They pointed out what was the flaws and mistake that I made in my resume by showing exactly where the flaws are. Moreover, they also advised me on how I could improve my resume. I find it really useful and would consider purchasing their service on rewriting my resume.

I wasn't sure how best to format my resume and which keywords resonated with companies. I have a tendency to not polish or fluff up my experience. The resume writer was very good at it, I had him tone it down because it was too bold. Overall the process and result was better than what I could have done myself. I did tweak it after to match my experiences, I wouldn't expect them to know everything about the field I work in.

I had a great experience. The turn around time was better than expected. They offer a payment plan as well. I wanted to help with getting a job that I had no resume experience for but had other experience and the degree for and they helped me accomplish that. I got a job offer in about one week and accepted. VERY pleased!

Extremely unimpressed. They reformatted my resume in a manner that was unappealing, but I went with it because I figured they were the pros. I sent out my resume to quite a few folks before discovering a spelling error. Lovely. Anyway, sort of stuck with this sucky resume now. Willing to give them another chance because they have many writers, so maybe I'll get a decent one next time. I hope.

Excellent company! I tried to write my own resume by using a company I found online. The results were very unprofessional. I wrote my own resume using their templates, however, I was u able to edit spacing or bullets and the final result was terrible. That is when I decided to use Topresume. They did an amazing job and the results are very professional! They are very prompt and communicate with you often to get the results you want. It's an excellent company that I recommend highly!

I resisted all the the upsells, thank goodness. What I got back after a week was a resume and cover letter that some intern threw together in about 30 minutes. They managed to strip out every single relevant thing I have ever done over 25 years and leave in my retail and phoneroom experience to submit for mid to upper level marketing positions. Gee. Thanks. I sent it back and said... Start. Over.

I'm very sorry to hear that you are not happy with our resume. We do not use any interns to write resumes, all of our products are done by professional writers. It is generally recommended to only include the last 15 years of employment, since positions beyond that are less relevant to potential employers. However, we are happy to include those experiences if you prefer to include it.
I did not like the communication or lack of. The resume turned out ok but could've been made to look better and I should've had more opportunity to work with the writer and get feed back but I didn't.
