I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
Glad I had TopResume review and recreate my resume. Mark tailored my resume to how I wanted it. He made sure to communicate throughout the entire process in case I needed to change something on the resume. I was lucky enough to get a discount on my resume and cover letter. If you get that opportunity, act quick!

I was deeply unhappy with the work product presented by Top Resume. I clearly had a very junior resume writer who seemed to not understand my position or my company. I was especially disappointed with the cover letter that seemed copy and pasted.
I asked for a partial refund but was denied by the company.

If you are looking for the perfect professionally done resume, this is it! They are great! My writer was Leigh. The faster you send in your input the faster your resume is done. I had mine back in less than a week. It definitely gets your foot in the door with whatever company you are applying for! If I could give more stars I would! EXCELLENT.

I did not go the cheap route here and even paid for expedited service. Didn't even hear from the writer for a week and it was another 1-2 weeks before the resume was complete. I did not get a refund for the expedited service. Resume gets less hits than my old resume, look minimal and the information does not auto load to application forms well at all. Does not reflect my experience well and limits some of the application options I might explore. Reached out to them because they do have a guarantee and they told me I wasn't keeping an open mind and giving it enough time. It's been 2 months since this all started. I've gone back to my old resume because I have no choice.

I was torn on whether or not to have my resume professionally rewritten. I was an executive in the employment industry and felt like I could put together a good resume. I am glad I decided to give it a try. I was quickly assigned a great writer and within 2 days of my order had the first draft. 2 small revisions later and I had a great resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile, within a week and at a reasonable price. For years, I sold myself short and thought my resume was great. Top resume pointed out some things on my resume that made a lot of sense and I realized I had been selling myself short. I'm glad I made the choice to go with the. As an example, I applied for a job with one company using my old resume and was turned down. They had another opening that I put in for with my new resume and the recruiter was impressed with my resume and wants to talk further. I should have made this move a few years ago.

I found Phillip very professional and knowledgeable in my field of work. The use of relevant key words was such that when I read the first draft of my resume I was thinking wait is this mine. I'm very happy with the final product.

I have never had a resume profesisonally done before. I always thought I could do it myself. So far, I've had a great experience with TopResume. I notice the reviews are all over the board. I guess it depends on whether your new resume promotes any interest. We will see.

In the highly specialized field that I work in, I was expecting to have to edit much of the resume that Melissa wrote for me i order to tailor it for my field. However, it was apparent from my first draft that she had done her homework. Her attention to details, great use of terminology, structure, quick response, and flexibility in scheduling made for a very pleasant experience.

Overall I was pretty satisfied with the overall result. A resume and cover letter. I was a bit surprised when the TR consultant shut down and closed my assignment before asking me first. Would go back to TR to have my Linked In done.

This was the first time I have ever had my resume professionally written and I was not sure what to expect. My writer Tony took the time to read my lengthy questions/concerns via email and was able to capture my experience in a way that I had never been able to before. I paid and submitted my resume over a month ago. I received a couple emails and then nothing for a couple weeks. I finally emailed them and got a very generic excuse as to why my resume was taking so long. I finally received my rough draft and it was only one page not the two pages I paid for. I was given a complimentary thank you letter because it has taken so long. I am still waiting for my resume. Thankfully I am just trying to apply for jobs after the new year, but what if I had been desperate to get a job and needed this resume to help? I would not recommend this site to another person but it would be good to use a resume professional to look at your resume.

My resume was written very quickly, and my writer was very responsive. My only suggestion would be to perhaps have a 'chat' feature for easier connection? I made suggestions based off my previous resume, and was quickly advised of the reason why my suggestion is not the wisest, which is great! But, I would have liked a little more of the 'why' it is not a wise choice, and maybe be given examples of other resumes that mimicked mine.
