I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
After receiving my final copy of resume I applied for jobs and that company offered me free resume assessment. I accepted and after days I received the feedback from TopResume that my resume is not professionally written. I was surprised and shocked. Please improve professional attitude

I was feeling low about my resume writing skills and decided to turn over the responsibility to TopResume. I was so impressed with the results and wished I had engaged them sooner! It was comfortable sending the resume to them and then answer their additional questions. I found myself sending them other information that I had forgotten about. The best part was that I could do it over the internet and did not have to talk to anyone or meet them in person. The turnaround time was amazing and I am getting more positive responses to my resume now!

My writer was very helpful in gathering information and making sure my resume meets the eyes of potential employers. At first I thought my price was a bit steep, but I ordered because if it landed me a good job then it is worth it. I am happy that the basic package resume service includes the resume and cover letter. It took alittle while for a writer to get in touch with me, but once she did everything turned out great. My resume needed alot of work and the free resume critique helped me see what should stand out and how much work it actually needed.

In my 20 year career I have never once had anyone write my resume, I have never needed to because I always was lucky enough to get a job on my own. But here recently I went back into the job market and didn't get the traction or calls I normally get when posting on the job boards. I even had a recruiter slightly edit my resume once before my submitting my resume to a client. This was my calling card to call a pro. My free evaluation was spot on and valuable information. I feel like I have a pretty good handle on the English language, and as such never considered hiring a professional resume writer. Well let me tell you, Im glad I did. My resume is 10 times more professional and after working with the writer (which was pain free) she captured just what I was trying to convey. I received an email shortly after I selected the plan I needed and I was informed that I would be contacted from the individual who would be working with me. She contacted me the following day via email, I answered some basic questions, and we set-up a time to have a phone conference. A day after the phone conference she sent me a draft of my resume and cover letter and, after review, it needed very little change. She also helped me with my LinkedIn profile, which made it more professional. All in all I am very satisfied with their professionalism, answering all of my questions, and making me more marketable. For years, I thought about having a professional look over my resume and change the wording to a professional format, but never followed through. I took a leap of faith, after reading a bunch of reviews. They were professional and I received my new resume within a day of submission. As a test, I submitted the NEW resume for a job that was a higher level than I would normally apply for, and got an immediate interview invitation. I was a bit skeptical with going with a writing service as a result of reading numerous reviews relative to resumes, however, I received excellent results as well as exceptional results. I purchased the second option, along with the LinkedIn re-write. Both of these services were delivered as promised. I just wanted to give one request to TopResume, I think you folks would benefit from using some type of A. I that interacts with the customer before and after the questionnaire, so that the writer knows more about their client.
The only issue I had with my writer was that I had a few questions about style, format, and a specific question about specifying more on operations, and what I would need to put on my resume to focus employers on operations? The response was focused on the format and style and he basically told me that everything was perfect the way it was and he recommended not to change. Otherwise, I thought it was a great service for the price.
