I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I had an amazing experience and am really thrilled with the way everything came out. My resume and LinkedIn profile look and sound so much more professional and elevated. My writer was so so helpful and very accommodating!

I received a thorough review of my resume and I was surprised that I missed the mark and there were so many issues with my resume when I thought it was perfect! I was given an excellent critique and made aware of all issues that I needed to address along with explanations as to why these certain items should be fixed.

I paid for one of the more affordable options to have the resume I created revised and re-written. With just a few revisions, they delivered a product I couldn't have done myself. Its actually difficult to write your own resume without an objective opinion. They provided that and was able to use key phrases and word structures often looked for by perspective employers. Ashly O. Was my writer and I think she did a good job.

I've been waiting for my resume for over 3 weeks. I asked for a reimbursement and it was denied. I only receive excuses for the lack of response. Despite of all these reasons the company denies a reimbursement. Do not use this company

If you're car breaks, you take it to a mechanic because they know how to fix it... if you have a tooth ache you consult a dentist, again because that's who knows how to truly help you... so, if your resume isn't getting you the interviews you hope to land, well why not invest in a professional service with the experience and know how to fix it?
In my experience with a Top Resume writer, I can say that it's well worth it. They will fix your resume for now, as well as in the future, because you'll gain insights into how it should be done... if you want more responsiveness from prospective employers, get your resume professionally done by top resume.

My writer was very nice and did a good job in transforming my resume and cover letter. He met the initial deadline and did not take too long to do the revisions. However, the vocabulary and terms used in my documents exaggerated my experience, which I thought was too much. I did not like how much they "inflated" my resume with pompous phrases even if it did look nice. 3 months later, I still did not get any interviews so I contacted TopResume and they did a free rewrite for me. Again, the writer was nice but they pumped up my resume way more than I was comfortable with. I had to edit it again myself to make it more realistic. Now, I am waiting for the interviews to come in. I would not take up this service again for as much money as I paid for it.

Took almost 2 weeks to get a resume writer assigned and draft sent. They allow 1 week of revisions. I informed them I was leaving the country and would be back on the 1st of the month, and she replied she would leave my file open until the 31st, as in the day before I return? I wrote to the company and the resume writer contacted me she would make revisions. It took late night day later for her to answer questions, very vague not much help then said good luck to me. Never sent anything but 1st draft. Pretty much just reformatted my resume, no real new information.

I sent my resume to the website www.topresume.com, but they told me that it was really bad. They offered me that they would write resume for me, and I needed to pay $249 for Executive priority package, because it was fast. I paid money and got the resume, which looked like mine, which I sent them before. I wont recommend you to use this website.

If you listen to what others are saying, it appears some were happy, some were not, in my case, I received more contacts with the resume that I paid for than what I had written.
In the end, all I needed was to get a "foot in the door". TopResume did that in my opinion... It was up to me when I had a "foot " in the door...

Great service for those who need to condense a lengthy career history into a single effective document that can be sent to multiple employers. If you provide your writer with the details they need to effectively capture who you are and what you have to offer, they will work with you to craft a document that showcases your achievements and presents you in the best possible light to employers. You DO have to do your part, or the service will not be helpful! They are writing about YOU, not an essay in fiction!

Had to pay another person since the resume final results still clearly contained grammatical errors, sentences did not make sense, tense was not correct, format was off, etc... Had to consistently remind Sofia Avila at TopResume to check that these issues were resolved/she check her work. Also based on the results and feedback from another professional writer I paid it appears that my resume was outsourced (either not done by an English fluent person or they didn't care about the end results or both). Overall a bad experience and will be reporting this to other sites including the BBB, LinkedIn etc as well as friends family coworkers networks etc

I purchased a $272 resume & cover letter package with extra for expedited 2 day service. While the company was quick and responsive, what was delivered to me was full of misspellings, grammatical errors, and incomprehensible bullet points. It was clear the author disregarded all of my notes and requests. They increased my resume from my 1 page to 3 FULL pages, when I have less than five years of professional experience. My cover letter looked like it was copied and pasted from a google image, it was so poorly written and it included ALL FIVE of my most recent job titles. I had to spend an hour sending my writer my notes, grammar edits, and complaints was the one PAYING to have someone to do that work for me. The work was so unprofessional and even when I requested a refund, TR rejected that and instead offered me a new writer and complimentary thank you email template. After spending hours on the phone trying to reach an agent, I was finally granted a full refund. While I was grateful for the exceptional service I received at the end, it took weeks of my time and money. I WOULD NOT recommend TopResume, unless you are completely new to the workforce and have time to spend in your job search. Hope this helps.

Daniel did any excellent job on my Resume and cover letter. I am thrilled with the results. I did pay to have my Linked in Profile updated, but in hindsight it was kind of a waste. Once I had my resume in hand, it went without saying that the information on the resume just needed to match on my profile. All I was provided was a document with suggestions which can be found anywhere on line and directions to copy my resume information over to my profile.

They did deliver what I paid for; a solid unimaginitive resume. They were even fairly quick about it. They sent my first draft on a Friday morning. I replied within hours, and have still not heard back. It is now Monday afternoon. So... Friday through Friday, with no contact for over two days. I guess that makes the revision period a non-benefit in my opinion. UPDATE- it is now Wednesday, I have two days left of my review period, and I still haven't heard back from anyone. I am downgrading from 3 stars to 1 star for this reason. Will not ever use again, and will not recommend.

Based off the feedback I received from the free review I knew there were some changes that needed to be made. Before continuing with the paid services I did my research to make sure this was the right investment. Once I received my writer I was unhappy with the first draft and express that to my trail writer who was instantly responded to see why I was unhappy. The customer service was great which played a major role in the turnaround of my experience. Once I express my concerns to the writer my next draft was a complete 180. I am very happy with the finish product and service even with the slight hiccups
