I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
If i could give 0 star i would have! I used Top resume to make it more professional, and pass the resume selection software! I talked with many resume professionals and worked very hard to keep it one page and what to write. The only thing top resume did was changing the layout of my resume which I could do for $1 membership if i wanted to. It was a joke and i paid lots of money for it! I bought this service because of the reviews i saw in this website. DON'T PAY FOR IT

Loved this service, very courteous and professional. I love how my resume looks now, my LinkedIn profile looks great too. I was reluctant to use a service to update my resume, but the cost was definitely worth it.

Submitted my current resume for revision and the writer that was assigned to me took a good while before reaching out to me to tell me that a delay was expected due to the volume of orders. A few days later I was notified that my resume was assigned to another writer. No questions were asked from the writer before I received my first draft. Manager was misspelled... When I contacted the company for help with my issues, I was offered to have my resume written by another writer, which would take more time, and nothing else.

Did not meet my expectations for helping me develop federal resume. The service seems a bit rushed. Most of my experience and qualifications provided to resume were left out of the resume they created. I do not recomend topresume.

Double charged my account twice and have not refunded money. They keep saying it's the processor's fault, that's not who I paid though. I have had to contact the BBB and the Attorney Generals office. Beware Folks! They will have some diplomatic excuse... of course.

The only thing worse than this company is the fact that they're posting three times as many bogus "satisfied" reviews than real customer complaints. Don't believe me, look at the reviews that other people have checked as "helpful" Duh.

Scam! Do not fall for this. Stock critiques. Fake "real" feedback. Not personalized AT ALL. After I paid them almost $300 I ran their finished version of my resume through their free critique service again because something seemed weird and way off about the resume they edited for me. I received THE SAME EXACT critique as my original resume. The whole thing is a fake.
UPDATE: If you want to help others avoid this scam, in addition to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, file a complaint with the NYS Attorney General here: https://ag.ny.gov/consumer-frauds/Filing-a-Consumer-Complaint. My attorney advised me to do this.

Hi Joanna, I'm sorry to hear that our process have caused frustration. We do use humans to review and write resumes. Although we offer a free critique to our potential customers, there are costs associated with the critique process. Hence, you will get the same critique if our system are able to identify that you've already received a critique.
My writer did great and was able to add any changes that I wanted to make to my resume during the writing processes. I would recommend this service to others.

I was stunned and said "WOW" when I saw the initial draft of my resume. The resume writer was able to cut my resume down from 10 pages to 2 pages. The layout and wording is great. My skills and all relevant information needed are highlighted to match with the job that I am applying for. I received a free resume critique to what I thought was a polished resume, and quickly discovered that what I was sending out to potential employers was full of unintentional red flags and really didn't highlight my skills and potential. I was teamed up with Charlotte who worked quickly to polish my resume as well as a killer cover letter. I was applying for jobs for months, but there was no phone call for job interview at all ( I guess I did a bad job on writing resume myself). I decided to asked for help from TopResume. Georgi was my writer. He sent me the first draft with all the information I need, and asked if I need to add more additional information to the first draft. At that time, there were 2 positions opened at 2 major companies that I really like. I just used the first draft of the resume to apply for jobs because I did not have that much time to wait for the second draft. I got 2 phone calls from them for job interviews right after 4 days. Guess what? I got 2 job offers with great benefits from them. I wish I could work for both companies, but I only could choose one of them:-(. This resume writing service is actually a front for a con job.
In actuality most of the reviews are fake and the people doing the reviews are stilling in another county using a false names. Needless to say, there is no value add and most people are duped in with 5 star reviews, which themselves are fake.

After completing online questionnaire, there was no response for a week until i emailed them. Their response was they would find some one to write my resume based on Q/A from the writer. There were none. Something incomplete was sent to me. Then they asked for my old resume (10yr old resume), which i sent to them and none of my previous experience made into the second resume draft. The second draft ad many lines in blue where i ad to fill in my current info and work experience. Just like a Word resume template. Deceiving. Very unsatisfied.
