I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
Horrible, too resume is a scam, they send you a generic resume and then give you only a week to ask for revisions when you wouldn't even know where to start! And they don't tell you upfront that you only have a week to review. Complete scam don't waste your money!

By critical Top resume writer my resume wasn't pass 6 second employer attention. OK I paid Top resume to redo my resume. First of all I was asking what I want to be in my resume. I have my resume some year ago was issued by monster writers and in now time everything is changed. Top resume writer just cut off my job description and resume is done. When I sent my resume to the critical writer for the same company she said my resume is getting worse than was before. Another writer asked me what I want. Most likely I gonna decline my Top resume payment and ask another company to write my resume. No one go to Top resume. Only wasting money and time.

I contacted TopResume to re-write my resume and help me with a cover letter I could modify for the various positions for which I was applying. I have been a professional in a highly regarded industry for almost 20 years and have recently shifted to another industry. It is difficult to convey to employers that you still have highly transferable skills and I was not getting interviews. TopResume assigned me a writer who helped me draw on the many skills I had, including a necessary skill that my old resume failed to even show. Once Greg was assigned to me, he was attentive and gently told me that many of my old positions weren't relevant. I am now proud to utilize my re-vamped resume and can quickly modify the cover letter TopResume did for me. I am glad I came across this company and spent the money for this well-needed service.

Make sure you tell them how fast you need items done. They will accommodate.

I had a resume that I had been working with that I had written. Paired with my resume and some additional information, my writer did a superb job re-crafting my resume to highlight my accomplishments and make it look better for hiring teams. More and more automation filters out candidates, and getting help and ensuring your resume fits the search filters is getting as important as your acomplishments and competences, since if you don't make the cut you don't even get the chance of presenting it. I paid for the cover letter and resume re-write and the writer was very helpful in listening to exactly what I wanted. I missed the deadline for the edit, but there wasn't really anything I'd want to change based on what was provided for me. For $189 it gives me a good outline of what I need, should I want/need to make updates or changes in the future. I feel the writer they paired me with understood exactly what I wanted and delivered within the outlined timeframes. I had a recruiter review and she loved it and didn't recommend any changes.

I resisted joining AARP for a very long time (I'm 58), but I finally took the moment, and joined, and it has been great. Through AARP, I was offered a discount on re-imagining my resume. I've been using the same format since the 80s, what could be wrong with my resume? I resisted accepting any input on my resume, even from friends! It was flawless, wasn't it. WRONG! On a whim I accepted the discount and went ahead and submitted my resume. What I got back took my breath away. It was SO well done! Christa at the company really gave it new life, and a new direction. I was amazed, and jazzed! I am hoping this really turns my job hunt around to something positive, after getting rejection after rejection.

My writer was Harry and he was great! He redid my resume and when I reviewed it, I let him know the changes I'd like, quickly he made the changes and sent it back to me. We did this twice until I was happy with the final product. I started applying to jobs with my new resume and quickly I started receiving calls. I have used other resume writing services and paid more money than I did with TopResume, and I never got calls as quickly. I applied for a position I thought I was qualified for 3 weeks ago. Human Resources called me back and said based on my resume, they felt I would be a better fit for a senior level position within their company. I have never been at a senior level so I was a bit nervous. The hiring manager was impressed with my resume, I went through two rounds of interviews, and I was offered the job quickly with a nice $22,000 a year increase than what I am making now. I am so happy with the results of my resume and would 100% recommend TopResume.

The experience with TopResume has been worthy for their professional approach and efficient services. I have initially opted for just the resume writing but very quickly realised their contributions are indeed very helpful and availed the other services such as Cover Letter, LinkedIn profile and Thank You letter. The resume writer Zach was very good in extracting the details and gave the resume much needed professional outlook. The final CV is a very impressive and useful document, the way TopResume rearranges the information and links the ideas making it more interesting and eye catching allows one to see the real impact a CV has on recruiters. I can recommend working with the company, though I do think it is a good idea to reconsider the time between one draft and the other, also consider to explain what the "revision period" includes in time limits.

This company cares about its customers as much as it does all these negative reviews. When you sign up you get multiple emails saying theyll get to you and when you say you want to cancel because you had to get someone else so you get a job, they say no refund and send you a crappy draft of information you already had and sent to them. They have horrible customer service as well.

We understand that applying for jobs is very time sensitive. It sounds like you were hoping to get your drafts earlier, it is something that can be accomplished by telling our customer care team.
This was a complete waste of money for a service that is being performed by what seems to be robots, or elementary school kids. I cannot tell you with enough sincerity the degree of an idiot I feel like after participating in the TopResume Scam.
I just hope the money I have donated to their elementary school will be used wisely!

There is nooo WAY that the product I got is in any way shape or form, related to ANY positive reviews here, unless of course original resumes were grade schoolers applying for lemonade stand jobs.
THEN I could see "Top" resume being helpful.
