Good resume is to get you interview opportunites and then it's up to you to sell yourself to potential employers. I had 6 pages resume, a laundry list of what I had done in the past and Cindy R transformed it to 2 pages with the right format, style and most importantly the right keywords for the job I want to apply. Less than a week after I posted the new resume and I have two phone interviews and one of them leads to a F2F and potential job offer!

So it started out terrible. I filled in the fields and the first writer never read those then asked the questions again. He never followed my feed back and wrote at a 1st grade level. Complained and got a wonderful professional writer named Karen. I signed off on the cover letter and resume and heard nothing more in relation to the linked profile. After a week I then get a email asking how the service was. I complained and then get a email saying we found a new writer. Leading one to believe that a new writer does one part of your order. I complained and it turns out that it is the same writer. I then get asked if my linked profile stands out. Hmmm I don't know I hired professionals to do it. There is borderline fraud. There website says 60 interview guarantee and when complaining and asking it turns out that according to Zoe a customer service supervisor it is a 60 to 180 day guarantee. Nowhere on the website can I find 180 days. Not under terms of use a clicking to make payment. So beware of this company. I suspect they say your resume needs review so they can scam money and not provide any real quality continuity of service.

Such an easy process. Very easy to communicate with my resume writer and get the resume dialed in. The process was simple and the final product was excellent!

Slow, they take there sweet time (9 days) attempting to write you a resume, barely made any changes, rather they deleted a rather large amount of important information in my opinion. When I inquired about this, and offered some suggestions on changes on the following day, expecting a response with an explanation I got nothing, so days later (4 days) I asked if they intended on responding! They responded the next day (day 15 now in this process) and advised me that I only had 16 days to make changes and review with them. So more or less I was out of time, as they still did not answer my questions about deletions and certain ways things were written. They simply made one of the changes I suggested and sent it back to me with a note telling me I can edit it myself! So why I am paying $350.00 for NO SERVICE!

I left a review with the company, do you think I got a response to that? NO!

Don't let this company drag your valuable dollars out of your pocket for nothing, this company prays on those that are in need!

They promise you to send you the first draft within one week but it took several days to assign my resume to a writer. After another week I got a resume which didn't help me at all because it wasn't written for the job I wanted to apply for. So I sent my comments within 12h to not waste more time. It took the writer another week to make a revision and I received it after the revision period what means I couldn't send my new feedback and get the chance to use the second revision. To sum up, it's wasted money to get a resume from them but I have to admit that they give you a good feedback when you do the free resume check.

I came across TopResume services via CareerBuilder, I posted a resume on career builder & received a critique from a representative of TopResume, explaining what my resume tells employers, and it was not telling them what I really had to offer with my experience, which I 100% agreed, because I wasn't getting the response I wanted.

So with the critiques I received, I tried to revise my resume myself, & still no contact from employers on position I would even consider, I went back & forth for weeks on wether or not I should pay for a professional resume services, well I'm really happy I did. It was more than I could have imagined, the resume writer I worked with her was great.

I had a total of 3 revisions & I still had my resume & cover letter within about 8 days. I have received correspondence through emails & phone calls from a number of potential employers, I could see myself working for in my field. I am very pleased with TopResume services.

The experience of topresume was fine. I was furiated when I saw the first draft. It was like a 10 years old writing. I called them and they change it. The second draft was better and long. They did help me re-organized sentences, but that was all. The writer did not know my field. He asked me for all suggestions. I sent out my second draft to three companies and I got two rejections the next day (I did not get so quick rejections with my own written resume). I would only pay $30 for the sevice, but they charged me $219. Not worth it at all. But I was too swampped to argue.

I am pretty satisfied with the results! Indeed, I have already received some contacts after submitted my new resume and cover letter.
