I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
I regret wasting my money on their "service". There are no "professional writers" on the platform - someone takes the CV you provide them as a starting point, puts it through ChatGPT and send you whatever it regurgitates. The second Draft they created was even worse.

The service was great, the writer did a good job with what she had to work with. But the end product has not been all I hoped. What would have really helped was if in the end, they could have run my new resume through the same automation software they used as a sales technique and given me the same type of scores they used to convince me I needed help in the first place so I could better quantify how much my resume had been improved. My work around that has been to use jobscan.co to evaluate the resume before each application.
It has required a lot of re-working on my part, which is fair enough, a resume writer who is doing work from some documentation and a basic questionnaire can't work miracles. If you expect a perfect outcome, no service is going work for you.
If you need an uninterested party to re-write your resume to get you pointed in the right direction, this is a great service. And if you have ever struggled to write, the price is completely fair for what you get, I actually felt bad because the time it must have taken the writer means in the end the hourly wage wasn't much.
When someone else re-writes your resume who has no emotional attachment to you, it helps you accept your weaknesses in a way your friends/family can't. That said, there was too much flowery language and typical descriptions which she used to fill in where I didn't have enough on my own. After re-reading it multiple times I have simplified the language and adjusted it. But her attempt to fill in typical language where I lacked it gave me something to work with, it was easier to edit and fix because I could see where she was coming from and why she had done it, even if it wasn't prefect.
I would advise using this service along with jobscan.co and looking at the requirements on the various job postings, and adjust accordingly, eventually coming up with the perfect combination.
I didn't love the cover letter, I have found other formats work better for me, but as cover letters go, it is a nice start.
I have found I need to keep adjusting the resume to the missing language choices for each application in jobscan.co. I have gotten more hits on LinkedIn since the re-write, but that was after I made changes to what I was given.
But without the re-write I would still be spinning my wheels. If you are willing to put in as much as the writer does, you will get what you need. If you expect the writer to give you an original resume without meeting half-way, you will be disappointed, but you are also expecting a miracle, and that is not fair.

I used too may words in my original resume with good intentions of showing in detail ALL of my skills and not leave a single thing out yet, it was dull and lacking.(worse than I knew until I saw the finished product!) My writer Clementine had some work cut out for her when she got my resume. She cut out a lot of word-salad and used complex vocabulary to eliminate my unnecessary word-salad while maintaining & delivering the exact message and points I needed and wanted to show to my future potential employers. I didn't see I had all of these unnecessary fillers until she had perfected my resume. She managed to downsize my extra wording without leaving out vital information. She is very gifted in her abilities to summarize. The whole layout of my resume changed as well, for the better. I have been a manager and have hired several people so I've seen many resumes, and they all follow the same suit that I had. Speaking as someone with management experience here, if I had a handful of resumes and I saw one with this kind of vocabulary neatness, layout, and organization... I'd have interviewed this person even if they didn't have experience in the field or even a bad work history because it is easy to read, it sticks out, and it is obvious the writer of the resume worked hard and took their time and it leaves a lasting impression. I also loved my cover letter. I have written some pretty cliche cover letters and most cover letters I have seen are cliche. Before viewing my final masterpiece, I was expecting some moving around of my words and improvement however, this was a complete make over and I didn't feel Clementine just threw it together through rearranging and googling synonyms for the words I chose. It was an improvement and make over. I'm very satisfied and also feel more confident and kind of awesome when I hand out or submit this new creation. I actually feel like I'm showing off and no longer feel the dreaded,"I hope they notice this and that I'm good enough" feeling. I now submit knowing that whomever is getting it will definitely notice that mine stands out which makes me feel more confident and less unsure/anxious about the first impression that I am leaving with potential employers!
