I was very happy with the changes to my resume but there were certain parts, such as my summary, that seemed extremely generic. Parts of my cover letter also seem generic. And my LinkedIn makeover feels like it has too much text on it.

My resume was updated and is current. I am already starting to see more interest from hiring managers too. The process went smoothly and I had a great writer (Melissa). I will use this service again and would recommend to others seeking resume help.

The final work was very well written (resume and cover letter) but they gave me little time to review it.
The writer only sent me one draft because she got sick besides I told her that I could wait the time she needed.
Also I discovered that the cover letter draft was used on at least 3 other profiles. I commented that to the writer and she argued that she didn't know nothing about that because another person was in charge of the cover letters. She wrote another one which I think is unique for my profile.
The LinkedIn profile content is almost the same as the resume.
I suggest more communication and time with clients so we could finally get completely satisfied with the job done.

I have tried two writers for my resume and none of them were Project Manager Resume writer experts. They keep asking me the same questions and Customer Service just doesn't care at all about my complaints, they just keep offering you to change for another inexperienced writer. I paid for one of the most expensive packages and I did not get any good value from this service. I request my money back but they did just a partial refund even though I keep complaining about their bad service.

I enjoyed working with Top Resume, they are quick and very customer friendly. They kept me informed of work progress and my resume looks outstanding, I could not have done this myself. For the cost they can't be beat, I would recommend them highly.

I am regretting I didn't read these reviews before... It happened to me as well... Such a joke they are! I sent my resume and after nearly one week I didn't hear from them. So I wrote again to complain. I get an answer from someone replying me that my resume was waiting to be approved... The day after I had an email from Joe, another "writer", telling me my previous writer was not available anymore and that he was taking care of me. After a few days I had, a resume which is roughly the same as mine... They just played with a few words and sentences, cut the most important tasks for my job. In other words, a lower professional profile... And they have replied below in the same way they do for resumes, past and copy! Why should I use Facebook? So UNPROFESSIONAL! Please, don't use their services and check all the complains below! Don't trust the good ones!

Frustrated with the many rejection emails I was receiving with existing resume, I realized it was time to call in the experts! I have not been on the job hunt for over 18 years and despite being in HR myself, I felt overwhelmed by how to spruce up my very outdated resume. TopResume were fast and efficient, and produced a beautiful, professional-looking resume using the old one I sent them, plus my answers to a series of questions. They used that info to match me with a writer in my field, and she created a resume in Word that I can edit and adapt as I proceed with my job search. They did a good, effective job and what I paid them was well worth it.

I like the way my CV has turned out - from 5-pages CV to 2-pages (content is direct and well presented). As much as I want to put all my job accomplishments, the explanation given by Chelsea B. Makes sense.
I have not had a chance to apply after i receive my revised CV (no time to job hunt at this point) - but I am satisfied on how it turn out.
I should have done it earlier.

I decided to revamp my resume and search for a new job, and wanted every advantage i could get at this point so I decided to give top resume a shot. The resume review made some very valid points regarding my own efforts and the results were amazing. Betsy created a wonderful one page snapshot of my qualifications and accomplishments as well as a professional and well worded cover letter all fully editable for me to adjust to my needs further down the road. The experience was incredibly seamless. However, for the price tag, I would have expected a little bit more guidance on where this would place me in my job application process (i. E. should I include past work experience, etc.). My writer was amazing and incredibly quick, but so far I haven't received any offers for an interview. I was also really confused as to why he listed my Masters's program as work experience, so I'm hoping this doesn't hinder my chances. I'm optimistic, but we'll see. I'm giving it 4 stars because of how well regarded their services are and how quick and friendly the process was. I think the proof is in the pudding and we'll just have to wait and see on it.

Overall I had two writers and both were the same. I even paid more for the top writers and they were not good. They just list a bunch of words in the resume for a computer to find but don't put any thought into the words. The look up what industry you are in and just throw the words on a page. I would not recommend them but instead an individual that will listen to what you are saying and how you want your resume to look. I had spelling and punctuation errors on mine even on the third draft. The LinkedIn profile was pretty good which is why I have two stars instead of one.

The process worked very well however not happy with the end result. Have not gotten any hits since leveraging the newly designed resume. Found lots of misspelled words during the process. Also don't feel that all my ideas were captured.

I used TopResume to update my long outdated resume. They were quick, easy and relatively inexpensive. In fact, it was well worth the money I spent. I've already shared the new resume with several hiring managers that I trust and they said it was much improved. Just be aware that you have to be ready and willing to assist your assigned writer. They can't read your mind and they don't know what you've accomplished so you must help them to help you.

Provided me with a quality resume that helped me get a great job in my field. I had sent out over 100 resumes with no results. After I received my resume from TopResume, I was hired within 3 days at a great company with excellent pay and benefits. Most of the people I graduated college with are still looking or working at Wal-mart. Need I say more.

This company did work with me via e-mail to re-write the resume that I felt was already pretty good. However, they showed me that it could be written in a better format that better described my career history instead of my repeating line items. They also did a rewrite of my Linked In profile to allow me to be "found" under more searches. After just 2 weeks I have seen an increase in my resume reviews and have started getting interview calls.
