I was very pleased working with TopResume. The writer did an excellent job by reducing my resume from three pages to the standard two pages by summarizing and highlighting all my achievements as expected.

My experience was exactly what I was expecting and more. Many companies proclaim that they are the best... however they prove to be not to par. We just needed one (1) rewrite and BAM, the writer nailed it.

My writer provided the first draft in record time with added suggestions and guidance to work into my first review. The final revision was professionally outstanding.

I had Top Resume review my resume because I was getting no hits from the jobs I was applying to, with over 35 years experience in my field you would expect something. Their review made some recommendations about format and the content " I was a doer, not an achiever per my resume". When I received the new formatted resume, I sent it to a friend in HR who came back with the same comments, though the format was better it still didn't show me as an achiever, even though I had sent Top Resume a list of accomplishments. When confronting Top Resume about this, I got a lame excuse and basic told to make the changes my self. Waste of my money and time. 7 days isn't enough time for review.

I am very disappointed with the resume I received from Top resume. It is a boring cut down version of the one I presented to them. Nothing about it stands out. I also was pressured by the writer to compleat the modifications as he was quick to repeatedly tell me my time was running out.
Don't use this service! Shop around A computer could generate a better resume!

Truly professional as clerical errors were corrected immediately. The resume correctly captured my professional and volunteer experience and the cover letter was direct and simply requested an interview with potential future employers. Great job!

You will get nothing back if you did not have an interview in 60 days. That was what happened to me. I even forward the email when they solicited me with that big Ad! So they said they will refund me 20% back instead of 80%. Then they also said they will rewrite my resume for free if I give them another chance. Until today I did not get a single penny refund from them. Period!

My experience was quick and easy. They did a good job and cleaned up my resume. Just remember the company has different writers, so just because one experience is good or bad doesn't mean your mileage wont vary.

When I submitted my resume, I knew there would be a few issues with it, but I was surprised at the number of errors it had. The critique gave a detailed explanation of what needed to be changed. This site gave me an honest review and helpful insight.

Took 2 weeks for them to find a writer for my resume. Then the Resume they send out was just a reformat of what I already had. Maybe if your a high school student just starting out.

I got an email from ZipRecruiter indicating that I can get a free assessment of my resume from one of their partners (TopResume). Given that the initial assessment is free anyway, I decided to submit my resume to see what they say. Note, that I have already revised my resume based on the free advice of other recruiters that I have worked with. I think unless your language skills is poor, you should be able to find a free template on the Internet and put the content of your resume into that format. I personally don't think you need somebody else to tell you about your skills and experience.

Then again, my problem with landing a job typically isn't in the getting an interview part (meaning my resume and cover letter are okay for the most part), it's getting through all the interviews. Yes, I know that I need to practice! Anyway, I thought I would also get a canned (template) answer like some of the other reviewers, but surprisingly they told me that my resume looks okay.
