I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
LaShorne at TopResume gave my resume a new and professional look! My resume is much more well-presented, concise and straight to the point! Moreover, the tone of my new cover letter sets my application apart from other potential candidates as it shows both professionalism confidence. The whole rewrite process (two editions) was done in less than a week. I will definitely recommend it!

I hired TopResume to rewrite my resume about a month back. They were quick and easy to sign up for and were timely in the task paid for. The final product was good and I was ok with it. But, once that time had come and gone... They were quick to stop answering questions and I come to hear that they didn't even have someone that specialized in my field. When I asked about timing and why my question/s have not been answered, I get a somewhat dismissive email on how tough the market is, which is clear, and no answer on why my writer cut communication off before my final draft. Time will show, I have till Nov 4th for my 60-day mark.

I finally got a job, but the resume that TopResume wrote for me had nothing to do with it. Employers in the job interviews were interested in the CV I wrote by myself, which included all the info of my career accomplishments, and not on the a resume with carefully picked catchy phrases that only provide vague information about what I have actually done for living. I feel that their service is overpriced and I would not recommend it to someone else.

I paid for the 2 day/48 hour turn around on the executive package. 5 days later I received a 1st draft that had blatant lies, contradictions and a 4" thick run-on sentence. I gave the writer app 2 dozen documents to peruse, 2 days later not a single word from them I emailed them again to see how things were going... 2 days after that, the final day of their agreement, I am told it has been extended, but it will be closed, I can expect another draft soon. I told them to drop my case, stop working on my resume, and 4 hours later, I get an email with some attachments... 12 days crammed into less than 4 hours of work... AFTER I asked them to stop working on my resume. 50 DKP minus.

I am so happy with my killer new resume. Matthew nailed it and really focused on my achievements. The formatting is eye-catching yet clean and this resume will be much more successful when it comes to keyword searches. I didn't need to change anything because the first draft nailed it!

I had a wonderful experience with TopResume. My writer, Joanna, was very thorough and supportive. She submitted the first draft with probing questions, to which I responded with long brain dumps of multiple examples of projects I had done, that she summarized elegantly in a few susinct bullets. We went through several iterations of certain sections and ended up with a beautifully written resume. I ran my resume through a different online resume reviewer tool, the response I got was:

Very simple service. I submitted my resume and the job types I would like it tailored to and received my completed resume and cover letter shortly afterward. They have specific staff members who complete orders for specific industries, so I did have to wait a week before my order was started on. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this service.

Very disappointed with this service. Expected a one on one experience to restructure and improve my resume. Never spoke to the writer who obviously new nothing about my profession or industry. Turned out to be a one week maximum service whereby I had to make multiple edits and recommendations and finally just gave up and wrote it myself. Many sentences that were simply fluff without any true indication of my skills and experience. Never did have a chance to discuss my LinedIn profile update recommendations, they just included the same stuff they threw together for the resume.

I work in biomedical field. I purchased the professional resume package ($350) that included resume, coverletter, and linkedin. The TopResume consultant assigned to me completely lacked any experience and knowledge of my field making the language used awkward and inaccurate. In addition, she lacked attention to details- the document was full of inconsistencies and grammatical errors. She didn't even know how a publication reference should be written. The only contribution she made was creating a format. All content was written by myself. Similar experience with the cover letter. I will never use this company again.

I picked the package where I can get my cover letter, CV and linked in account edited. I am a project manager myself so I have to admit until I warned them my documents were still being written almost by past the due date. So, this is a red flag from my perspective. When it comes to charging, I am paying 300 USD and this is the service? I am sorry but I expect much better turnaroun and much more communication. I found the overall very average unfortunately. With 300 USD, one expect first of all an ownership of the task, smooth communication will help as well. Thanks!

I received a 48 h Rush service for writing my resume. I was very pleased to see my 6 pages old resume to be condensed to two pages. When I read a description of new me from perspective of new employer, my confidence went up and I started to look for the lead positions in my field.
I had a few small suggestions after getting the first draft and I was very surprised how quickly and easily they were integrated in the final draft.
The most important thing for me was ability to communicate on a personal level, taking in consideration of my ideas, confirmations about beginning of the process and the end, these all helped me to feel I was taken care.
I was happy it was very efficient so I was able to start my job search asap after my resume was finalized.
Since I received my final version I started recommending this service to all my friends and people I know.

I was hesitant about paying for a resume rewrite but my advisor did a nice job. My resume definitely looks better and I have been more confident posting it online. While I have not gotten any calls yet I'm still happy with my results.

I fed all the information to the writer and what came back looked like my 2nd grader wrote it with a crayon. Misspelled words, incomplete sentences, didn't make sense, and completely undersold my accomplishments. The writer sent a draft back and gave me 7 days to make edits / comments and return. I did in 4 days and haven't heard or seen anything in over 2 weeks. Not one email, phone call, text, etc. nothing! I wrote back to get my money back and said it was non-refundable but offered another service like resume posting which I not so politely declined because it was horrible and didn't trust them at all. I would give them negative stars if it was an option.

I recently paid them to write resume and cover letter. The outcome totally disappointed me. Obviously the writer have no knowledge about graphic design. She mess up what I did in my job, misunderstood my job's responsibility. I need to spend lots of time to point out each problems on resume and cover letter; some sentences are not making sense. Therefore I need to spend time to explain and work with her for each draft. Also, I found the TYPO on the resume which is so UNPROFESSIONAL.

Using the Resume service required a leap of faith. However, I was in excellent hands with Nikki. She listened and was able to come up with a first-class resume. I made suggestions along the way, which she readily incorporated.
