I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I purchase the $189 package can not remember the name. Does not matter now. I will agree with everyone they are pretty fast with the turn around time. However, I think they are moving to fast. I have had my resume going on 90 days (past their 60 guarantee) and I have not received NOT 1 OFFER. I emailed them 2 through their own website as well as email the rep who assisted me with the resume. Their 60 day guarantee advised that they would do a resume rewrite. ABSOLUTE LIE! I have not received one email back in regards to my rewrite. This is the worse I paid too much to receive such back customer service.

I was hesitant to try a service like this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. The writer was diligent and comprehensive in answering my questions, and I received explanations for all her rationale. I really like how my new resume looks, it's definitely more eye-catching.

I needed help getting my resume noticed by companies and I am very happy with the outcome. TopResume charged a reasonable fee for the resume and cover letter and returned the end product in very quick time. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I received the resume critique and had a few questions. All the emails they send let you know they are here to answer any question you have. When I actually replied with a few questions I received a bot response that did not answer any questions. They might do good work, but I am not going to spend $350 if they can't even have a real person answer my inquiries. To me this is an indication the work will not be as personalized as they claim.

My current resume was a total mess. Because of the complicated nature of my professional work history - overlapping employment, multiple part-time jobs at once, etc. - what I had produced was confusing and lengthly at 5 pages. I was referred to TopResume by a colleague who was very pleased with their service. I contacted them, and I immediately received a reply telling me they would be assigning my resume to one of their quality writers. This was done, and in a few days I received a very professional, updated, and streamlined resume draft less than 2 pages. After I requested a couple of minor changes, I received back the final product, which I could not be more pleased and satisfied with. I give TopResume my highest recommendation.

The resume writer did not gave depth review of my resume. She did not point my strengths as job seeker. It was just like an ordinary job for her. Prior to review, the company pointed out that strength was in my finance. But in the resume they wrote, my finance jobs were all disappeared and was not highlighted. I doubt if I could find an employer who will dig enough for my finance expertise. There was a disappointment in my part. Acceptable enough.

Thank you for the details on how to better my resume. The explanation really help me understand the core problem I have with my resume. However, there are some words that I didn't use in the resume but was mentioned either way. Which is weird and I thought the person sending the email was a robot. But nonetheless, it still help me see ways on how to improvise my resume so thank you.

I had overall a good experience. My writer took some time to get back to me, but she answered and included all my questions and comments. I am missing some details about my qualifications now that I am applying to different jobs and it seems hard to show what I am capable of. I still have to work on it myself but I am very happy with the structure and design.

If you went to a good school, are reasonably intelligent, or had any decent direction on how to write a resume, TopResume is not for you. The quality of writing and formatting from the writer they'll assign you first is guaranteed to be poor unless you complain, in which case they'll take ages to get you a new writer, who will be a bit better. Their goal is to get you more interviews, not get you a job. The way they write is over-inflated and not representative of your actual qualifications and experience, not to mention multiple grammatical and factual errors.
If you don't know how to write a resume at all or came from a career where resumes weren't all that important, then it might be worth it, but it's an expensive price to pay for below average workmanship. Opt instead for a freelancer or a better company.

TopResume was really worth it. At first I was skeptical about paying money for a resume service, but I had applied to many jobs and never received a call back. TopResume made the process very easy to use. The woman that helped me with my resume was very nice and did a great job of making my resume more professional. After my resume was finished, I applied to two jobs and received an interview for both. The only negative I would say is that the service is a bit pricey (but well worth it).

I purchased the "Career Evolution" package for $189 which included a resume, cover letter and two revisions. Julie was my professional writer and she did an outstanding job on both my resume and cover letter! The quality of the work was just was I was hoping for with the polished design, keyword optimized choices of wording, and attention to detail. Julie was very patient in working with me around my overloaded work schedule. I appreciated her receptiveness in the feedback process as well. As an added service, I also had her update my LinkedIn profile. The end result of her suggestions were just what I was looking for!

I'm happy I signed up for the company. I got some interviews as well as a lot of companies asking for interviews on my Linkedin. Only thing there was a few times I needed to correct some spelling errors which isn't too big of a deal but there was enough that I had to do 4/5 stars for that reason. I loved the product and i'm happy with the end result.

I was somewhat hesitant to pay for a resume re write only because of the cost. After receiving the re write, I can honestly say it was worth every penny! It looks much better and I'm receiving more interest from recruiters already.

Please do not waste your time and money. English is not my native language but my 12-year-old daughter can write better than their writers. Very rude customer service raps. All their cares is to rip you off and take your money. Do NOT recommend to my enemies. I wish I could give them no star.
