A while ago the company I worked at was closed down and all employees, about 20 of us, were made redundant. The company I worked for paid a lot of money to a Human resource specialist to help us all with resumes etc. I received very little feedback and when I did all it said was "I think we can do better" So basically a waste of time.
I then received information about Top Resume and although I was now out of work the cost was very reasonable so I went ahead and ordered a new resume. It took only just over a week and just 1 draught for me to receive my resume. I was so please with the result that I then went back and ordered a cover letter. I am so pleased with the result of both that it has given my confidence a boost.

Excellent understanding from the resume writer about my objectives and issues I met before regarding my resume. More than just a resume, the professional I was in touch with also provided me very good tips that I used for my interviews as well.

I think there are better resume writing services out there. This company charges to speak with an actual writer, which is bizarre. I was rushed and was expected to have my order closed out within a week. Horrible, customer service. I finally was reassigned to a writer by the name of Jenny who did a great job, I am not unhappy with her, I am unhappy with the business model and the poor customer service experience due to the company's way of doing things. I will not recommend Top Resume to anyone going forward. And for the record, I paid to have my LinkedIn profile rewritten and it was a complete waste of money. I was handed a template, which I could have done myself. Very disappointed.

You will get a simpler basic resume as an end product. For the price of their product, It is not at all worth it. Your resume will be written by native English speakers which is their only plus point and claim to be 'resume writing Professionals'

I was truly impressed with this service. I thought that it was a bit pricey at first but after my complete experience, I didn't think anything of spending that much money for the quality of professionalism alone. They found me a match within a couple of hours of someone to write my resume. She was absolutely great to work with and every email that I sent to her provided a response within no more than an hour. I felt like she was talking to me personally and that she understood a lot of my requests. I needed mine back soon as possible as I was applying for a job with a deadline date. I voiced that information to the writer and I literally felt like that was the only thing she must have worked on that day. By the end of the day, I received my drafted resume. TopResume took a professional resume of mine that was written by Career Perfect and put it in a new format, using the same resume that I sent them, no changes just reformatting and the charged $139.00 for that. The first product after reformatting was full of errors. I made all the correction myself and sent it back. They accepted my edits and sent it back stating if I have additional edits I should make them myself. I requested a Full or Partial refund for the resume service and TopResume refuses to communicate with me. Very unprofessional resume service. Career Perfect Resume service was 100-times better.

I was hesitant at first to utilize TopResume due to different reviews and the over various sites offering similar assistance at a comparable rate. Weighing the different options where a potentially stronger resume would open me to stronger opportunities I met my writer.
I could not be more pleased with the rough draft as it captured what I was trying to capture yet wasn't as successful. While writers may vary, I would recommend this company as there was constant communication to ensure I was the process was done smoothly.

If I could give it no stars I would. Despite being given ample information to produce a resume, Top Resume essentially required that I do all the work. After having done nothing substantive itself and after only two days of initial back and forth, Top Resume refused a refund.

Top Resume offers a very thorough and detailed step by step service. They started by doing a free, thorough analysis of my resume and the results were a real eye opener to me. It made me realize just how inadequate my resume was as seen through the eyes of a recruiter even though I thought my resume was great. My resume writer took her time, fielded my questions and concerns and delivered a truly great product which needed basically no revisions on my part. She also did a tremendous job on my LinkedIn profile as well. I now feel much more confident in my job search as I look to switch careers. This was money well spent and I have been recommending the service to people that I know.

I am changing careers and I worked with Carla to revamp and redo my cover letter and resume. She was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. One minor thing that I think the company should think about as a whole is explaining the process of changing the resume. I would have liked it explained to me why certain changes were being made, why the new way was more effective, etc. in order to be more confident in the process and really appreciate the changes being made. Also, those explanations would help me in the future if I needed to add/delete/modify my resume.

I had TopResume do a complimentary review of my 10 year old resume. I was very surprised to find out just how much resumes have evolved in that time. I was impressed with their suggestions and hired them to remake my resume. The process is very easy; upload your resume, they rewrite it, you suggest revisions, if any, and then get your final version. I am very happy with my resume and even got an interview from the first company I applied to with my new resume!
