Leo my resume writer and reviewer was very accessible during my resume writing experience. He was attentive to the messaging system and answered my questions in a timely matter. He provided substantial feedback and made adjustments where I thought we're necessary and provided his opinion when asked as well. Would recommend Top Resume again!
While my resume was pretty good, even though I abandoned the writer after the first edit and did it myself because they weren't doing what I was asking, the Linkedin thing is a joke. As in other reviews they just copy and paste. You can do that for free. I paid for the resume blast, but was never provided the service. They will not give me a refund on this. I already got a job and don't need it, since it has been over a month now. A side note if you are trying to reach them don not send an email or message in the message tab. You have to go on the live chat, which isn't live. This is the only way to get a response. Also you have to check back, because there is nothing to alert you that they have responded.
Working with GraceP at TopResume gave me such a piece of mind! After a design change, my resume gave an entirely different impression. We worked very well together and suggested adjustments were easy to make along the way. I would recommend this service to anyone looking to freshen up their resume!
The service essentially ask for everything in detail to write a resume. If most people could effectively describe their experience, skills, and abilities they could write their own resume. I sent the information to the service and was sent a rough draft that had numerous misspelling, absolute nonsense, and illegible sentences that sounded like a caveman. When I contacted the service, they informed me that they had sent my request for refund in, then came back stating that they have a no refund policy. In the end they did nothing for me and stole my money. I'll be taking legal action and contacting the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT waste your money and time with this ridiculous service, or lack thereof. TopResume is a scam!
Where should I start? I don't think my resume writer understood what I actually do for work and didn't bother asking me any questions to clear that up. Therefore, the resume she made for me described a job that I don't do. On top of that, the resume so was convoluted with so many words and redundancies. It just didn't make any sense. Sucks.
Overall, my experience with TopResume was good. Would have liked to be able to have an initial talk with the person who completed my resume to be sure all possible uses, experiences and skills were accounted for specific to the positions I will be applying for.
This was my first experience with a resume writing company and TopResume did not disappoint! I was almost instantly paired with a resume writing expert, Walt A., who was chosen based on my submission criteria and they were the perfect choice. Walt was extremely helpful, expeditious, and his work was truly great and appreciated!
I can only speak to the professional resume writing service however, I plan to use TopResume for any cover letter or other services in the future as well!
The results I get from my brand new resume, cover letter and LinkedIn page are phenomenal. It was user friendly and done very quickly. Customer service was fast and friendly. The only part of my experience I was disappointed with was the Recruiter.com Resume Distribution Service. I DO NOT recommend this as it is no different than signing up for job alerts on any recruiting website. It is mostly spam and no real prospects, its more harm than help to have to sort through scam interviews and recruiters.
Had to change writers mid-stream... Original writer became unresponsive.
Final resume contained a typo that I did not notice until the resume was used for a few applications.

Overall this was an excellent experience. The initial sign up was easy. The one glitch with receiving the survey was solved very quickly and professionally by technical support. The interaction with the resume writer was efficient and productive. He seemed to know exactly what to do and how to make my resume sing. Would highly recommend to anyone who asks.
It endures that resume are professional in order to help persons secure a job. It helps to improve the level of which a resume is in.

I'm still waiting for the recruiter.com resume distributor to get sent out. I've been stuck on the email verification page and it wont send any verification to my email when I type it in so I don't think its working. I've tried to contact them a few times so it can get sent out and I haven't heard anything. I'd like for that to get working because I spent $50 on it and I'm doing more work trying to fix it so I hope someone reaches out to me on that. Resume and cover letter were good though. Once the recruiter.com gets fixed id give a 5 star but until then, I'm pretty frustrated.
