I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.

I'm so happy with my new resume! My writer and I wrote back and forth at least 7 times to get it right. I really enjoyed the collaboration that led to my best resume yet. To be honest, there were some hiccups at the beginning. It took some time for TopResume to patch me to my writer, and a lot of deadlines were violated in the process. However ever since then the results were fairly consistent and I shared a prompt communication with my writer. The final draft looked neat and professional.

Overall my experience with Top Resume was alright. My resume writer was friendly and accomodating, it took several revisions including a few errors where the update draft feedback was misinterpreted or overlooked, and the first revision came back after 3 business days leaving just 1 day in the 7 day due date, yet they accommodated that and eventually corrected the items needing correction. My main feedback to the company is for the price, I was told the resume style needed to be very plain to get through ATS applicant tracking systems, yet I believe for the price paid it should include an additional more graphic oriented resume as another option the owner can present as needed.

I was a little skeptical of how the process would work out after finding out that I would not be able to speak with my writer. But I filled out the survey and sent in my previous resume and added some other details I wanted to highlight. Voila! Before I knew it I had a much better resume and a great cover letter. Overall, I was satisfied with the process.

This was my first time having my resume professionally written. I was not sure what to expect, however, I was pleased. Ascetically speaking, the resume looks awesome and sounds very professional. Tony was very patient and tried to help me further when I was unsure how to make my resume a little more general. Tony explained the importance of having a very specific resume and offered to help with keywords to get me past the ATS that hiring managers use. I have not had any interviews yet, but hopefully they will come soon.

I sent my resume to the organization for a free review. The review came back ripping my resume to shreds and convincing me that maybe I do need resume writing services. So I paid hesitantly because it's not cheap and got the results. After going through the editing process (and the resume writer ignoring several of my questions and feedback), I got the final result. I've used said resume to apply for countless positions and haven't received a call for an interview so I started using my old resume again- and just like that received calls. I feel like I dropped over $100 on the ground and someone picked it up, leaving me with nothing and out a bunch of money.

Overall top resume did a pretty good job with my cover letter and resume. They changed the format, wording and over all I'm very pleased. I wish there would have been a little more personalization with the process maybe a phone call with the writer. I often would ask a question about something in my resume and they would just delete it and not explain the reasoning.

If I could sum up the experience in three words: They get you. I bought the resume, cover letter, and linkedIN package. I haven't finalized my last element but the delay has been on my part. They are proactive and quick to turn out and turnaround your documents based on your edits and areas of emphasis. They are well formatted, and easily adaptable products. You couldn't ask for more.

The professional that rewrote my resume and cover letter and helped me with the Linked In updates was very quick to answer questions, had solid answers, gave me confidence in posting a resume that was a lot shorter than I'm used to having. He captured and highlight all of my skills and experience in a way that the recruiting systems are now catching them. The automatic emails with possible jobs are very close to what I'm intereted in. I was very skeptical about paying someone to look at my resume. However, after deciding to do it... it was the best decision I've made for my career path. After uploading my resume on job sites, networking and updating my LinkedIn profile, I have had 3 interviews last week. After signing up I was assigned an editor who went to work on my resume. After I received my first draft, I was disappointed. Sentences did not make sense, improper English was used and I was not represented accurately. After providing my feedback and edits, the second draft was no better. I contacted their support and they immediately re-assigned me to another editor who was excellent. I was pleased with the work and my resume looks great now. Thank you.

I really appreciate all the help I received from TopResume. I would not know how to write a resume better, especially since employers use a machine that reads them. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the hiring process in slow right now. My neighbor was telling me that she had her resume also done by a service such as TopResume, yet due to the slow economy and hiring now, it has not helped so far.
I uploaded the new resume to Indeed and LinkedIn on my accounts.
The person who worked on my resume was very help and did a number of drafts.

Easy to work with. Quick turnaround on drafts and final product. The first company that viewed my resume' quickly contacted me and during the interview told me my resume' was in the top two of hundreds received based on their algorithm they used to grade the clarity and professionalism.
On subsequent interviews with the company the same comments were made and I landed the position!

I stumbled on this site, they did a free review of my resume. Pointed out lots of grey areas and gave tips on how to improve it. I had Top Resume write my resume... it wast bad but I am definitely NOT getting any offers for interview. Now I understand that could be for a whole host of reasons... over qualified or under qualified etc. So... I was initially contact by Richard Q as he found me via Indeed and being new to Indeed I decided to go with him to rewrite my resume. Then I joined Glassdoor, which, I assume, is another version of Indeed and got an email from Katie at Top Resume asking if I wanted a 'free' resume review. I thought sure, why not, should be good for a laugh. Katie came back with her criticisms about my resume which had been written by her colleague Richard Q! These people are nothing but a waste of time and money grabbers. DONT DO IT. I also think that its very possible the reason I am not getting interviews is that employers could be overwhelmed by the amount of identical looking resumes as they are all the same format.
