I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.

TopResume definitely helped me to get my resume to the next level. On the whole, the service was completely worth the investment but I did have a few minor issues with the service. First, there were small grammatical errors in the first draft. My writer also made a mistake transferring my address from one version to the next so I'm glad I reviewed all the areas that were not meant be modified. Finally, my writer backed out and a new writer was assigned on the due date. That said, my resume was received only one day late, so it wasn't a huge problem.

My experience with TopResume has been a very good one. I have ut off getting my resume updated quite some time due to costs such. However I was not getting the exposure from my current Resume. I decided to use a professional resume service. With the free evaluation from TopResume and after reviewing their comments, I decided to invest the money after looking at the cost compared to other companies. Not to mention their packages are very reasonably priced. The format of my resume was great and the wording was way better than what I had on my original resume. I definitely recommend to use TopResume and have also told others about TopResume.

I found myself suddenly unemployed and I needed a resume. It had been so long since I'd had a resume and I needed help added years of experience I'd gained. I hired someone to write my resume and it did not go well. After that experience I was hesitant to look again. But TopResume had a free review. What sold me was their access to Applicant Tracking software. I could actually see how I was coming across to large companies. So I decided to take a chance, and boy was it worth it! My resume is SO awesome. Often times we have a hard time seeing how awesome we truly are. Hiring someone who just sees the data and doesn't have the insecurities and doubts I do was a great decision. She told a story with words that really represents me and all that I've done.

Had a resume that was not getting much traction and sought our Top Resume after some research. Within minutes I was connected to Jennifer my resume agent. Jennifer and I engaged in some very good interactive dialogue, some one and two page emails so that she can deeply understand my gifts and talents. Within 12 hours and 3 good emails she drafted a phenomenal first draft. After some quick touchup she produced a final version within the 48 hour time frame. I have done my own resumes for years and wanted and upscale version. I liked the changes they made and felt like they delivered a very good version. No matter what service you select, you are going to have to participate to generate the type of resume you want. I was glad to use the online forum and wait for communication from TopResume.

The service is very professional! I was appointed to Kay, an expert is the marketing field. I am not impressed at all. In the end, I'm not even using the resume I paid for. I guess you could say I'm at least using some (less than half) of the cover letter provided to me. I truly feel like English wasn't even native to my first writer; maybe international English because the sentence structure and words used was off. Lesson learned.

After searching for three hours, It was my bad luck that I chose Topresume and paid them USD 250 for a complete package. After one week I was allocated a resume writer who's english/ resume writing skills was by far the worst. I was sent a covering letter as part of package which was so poor. Copy paste from some other profile. Top resume's customer service was atrocious and never bothered to fix the issue. I was running out of time and finally ended by doing my own resume. After lot of struggle, I was given a very small refund and I had to forgo most of my money. If you want to lose your money and screw up your career, you may go with topresume. I actually had reservations about using Top Resume because it was an online company and not a face to face type of setting. I was pleasantly surprised, it took only about a week for my resume to be completely done with a couple of revisions. The only thing is the resume that I sent did not separate tasks with specific jobs so my first couple of revisions came back with tasks under wrong job titles. Once I resent the information with more detail, my writer quickly caught on and revised and now it's in a good place. I was looking for a more professional polished resume. My old one was just boring and didn't stand out. I really love the format that was chosen for my new one and I have to say that after sending it out for one week, I got 2 interviews and a job offer. I have moved into a much better position and I do believe my new resume was a huge factor in this move. Thanks so much!

Despite a slow turn round time due to the original writer being suddenly unable to complete my resume, the response from the team was first class and my resume now looks first class. After many years tinkering with my old resume it was becoming cluttered and missing out on the important key words. This has now been rectified and was worth the money to pay someone else to do all the hard graft.

They use too much "Canned" information. I had to edit/modify everything my writer sent because it wasn't tailored to my personal experience. I was pretty disappointed with the process. I paid for the executive package expecting an "Executive" experience but something tells me I could have bought any of the packages and received the same experience..

We do not use any canned information when our write the resumes. However, we might use common verbiage that are common within specific industries. If you've purchased our Executive package, your writer is within the top 10% of our network.
Someone initially reviewed my resume and provided good feedback so I thought I would try this company. The end result is a resume that is not viable to send out. The scheduled lead time for the first draft was over 2 weeks from the order. The first draft was delivered past the scheduled date. I sent the copy to my professional colleagues to review. Feedback was provided and it took over 2 days for a response from the writer. They lock your revision time within 1 week of receiving your draft. With the 2-3 days response from the writer it limits any feedback. After feedback was given they wanted me to send additional revisions after I provided feedback. Bottom line I received a resume that still is not to my satisfaction or usable to send out. I tried for a refund and they refused to provide it. Do not use them.

I had a great experience working with Dominique from Top Resume! She promptly responded to my resume and cover letter purchase faster than what the website estimated. This was awesome because I was waiting on an improved resume in order to be able to move forward with job applications. After the first draft I had a ton of questions about pieces of the resume and cover letter. Dominique wrote me a very thorough email response answering ALL of my questions. The second draft was perfect and I was so impressed with how much more representative my resume was of my work in HR than before. I have used Top Resume in the past and I highly recommend them.

I actually needed an updated resume after 15 years and it was done promptly and i was satisfied with the outcome. I made several changes and liked what my writer suggested to replace. In all i had my resume. Cover letter and linked in.
My resume was streamlined into results/action based after having read like a job description and it was condensed.

I used top resume a year ago and no lie the emails and calls started coming in from all over the country. My wife who has been in retail and orthodontics never had a resume but wanted to start looking in other fields of work but wasn't sure about what to say. They took care of it. Just email them all the info of your duties and accomplishments, and they turn it into a masterpiece.

I had a very sick looking resume online, and it simply wasn't getting the response I wanted. I decided to turn this over to Top Resume-I am very glad I did.
First they made my resume look very good, and it presented me in the professional way I am. More importantly it focused on my past accomplishments which is making the phone ring. I got 2 call today and 1 I scheduled an interview with.

It took more than 10 days to deliver the first draft and the draft they sent me had full of mistakes and misinterpretations! It had too much to correct and needed to rewrite the entire thing. I just prefer to use my previous resume! Asked for refund and they said only giving back 20% of what I have paid!( they said 25% but I calculated and it was 20%)
