I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I am very pleased with the service and the company's professionalism. John T. First evaluated my old resume and gave me some excellent feedback. He was very knowledgeable of the different professions and the skills sets to be highlighted. They did an excellent job highlighting my experience and I feel more confident in what my resume says and that it will noticed.

TopResume reviewed my resume, cover letter and provided guidance on how to improve my Linkedin profile.
The resume expert was very professional and I like the finished products. She was prompt in sharing the first draft, she added my comments after seeking clarification. This was the first time to get my 24 year experiences captured in 2 pages! She worked on my 6 page resume and provided an excellent 2 page version. I was very satisfied with the service

This was not a pleasant experience. After spending over an hour explaining and describing what I wanted, I get a resume that is nothing like me, does nothing I asked it to do, and has spacing and issues all over it... how many times does a professional resume writer used the verb worked? It should be NONE. Mine used it repeatedly. Then there is the whole LinkedIn service they say they offer. Well, it is a template they fill out with absolutely nothing that relates to what you already have on it -- no one bothered to look at it after they asked me to share it and my web site. I am six weeks in and still have none of what they promised and I am getting my bank to refund because even though they say they won't, your bank will so don't take no for an answer. I plan to post this to the BBB they say they are a part of... Please don't waste your time or energy on these people.

I purchased the executive package and feel like I did not get my money's worth. I provided my writer a lot of material to work with and yes, she did a good job re-writing my resumé and cover letter. But it's now two months later and... not a single interview. I was hoping TopResume would capture keywords which would be flagged by hiring managers. But to no avail.

I purchased the cover letter and resume package a few months ago. I thought it looked great at the time and I honestly believe that it looks a whole lot better than my original resume. What I thought was strange was that I had my completed draft sent back to "Katie Warren" for a critique just like the first time but I used a different email address. Oddly enough, I received my critique and it was almost identical to my other critique! The same paragraphs were used except for a few sentences which were changed to reflect the wording used. It seems as if a computer program reviews the resume and uses a base template to work off of. Sure enough, my remade resume that I paid for from Top Resume did not pass it's own test!

Very easy experience to have my resume redone. I was apprehensive spending the money and if it would be worth it, plus I thought I had a pretty good resume from prior compliments. However, without getting lots of new feedback in my job search, I wanted to make my resume 'stand out' as so many do not get even looked at (from what I hear). The new formatting and wording from my writer were not even on my radar before I received it. I am very happy with the returned product. I was able to edit the Word doc and provide feedback for the writer to finetune more. It was an easy process and I'm happy overall. The only thing I wish I could have done was call the writer to save a it of time; apparently email is their policy.

I decided to use TopResume because of the scan that they did of my current resume. The feedback and pointers on my current resume made sense. I also wanted help writing a cover letter because I was interested in applying for a company that was outside of my industry. My resume writer gave me a first draft that was visually appealing. There were formatting errors and specific product names that were typed incorrectly. I let my resume writer know that but some of the same mistakes were there the second time. I think it helps if you correct the resume directly on the document they send you rather than make a bullet list of what you want corrected. Despite those things, I was pleased with the wording and visual appearance of my resume.

After receiving a comprehensive and realistic overview of my resume from TopResume, I realized I needed to do something fast. I was hitting the "Apply" button for multiple jobs -- and spending hours doing it -- and getting nothing back in response. Sure enough, my resume was getting caught in the ATS filters, and no human eye ever saw it. So, I signed up for an overhaul of my Executive Assistant resume and a new cover letter. Not only did my resume writer provide me with a beautiful product, she did it in a friendly and timely fashion and kept up a stellar communication throughout the writing process. I am delighted with my new resume and cover letter... and I start my new job tomorrow!

They follow up as well and give you more insight and tips for improvements.

First, I submitted my resume for the free evaluation. The feedback was "I was under-selling myself"; which was very true. I decided to go with the top package because I have not touched my LinkedIn in years. After I submitted, it was a few days for them to find someone to help with my line of work. The first resume was really good, but we needed to clarify somethings. I was able to talk to my writer via video chat. He was very professional and listened to my "stories" rather than just tweaking the stuff on the page. After that the resume was perfect! I applied to a few major companies and had 2 interviews in a week. Totally recommend!

With little to know experience in resume writing and soon to be graduating in the IT field, I knew that I was in need of a very professionally written document. All in all it is safe to say that Sarah's suggestions/additions/rewrites have upgraded my CV and help make it more professional-looking and focused. Hopefully it will be useful to advance my career in the write direction.
One thing worth mentioning, is that I expected a much higher level of proofreading and much less typos and mistakes. It was not difficult to spot and correct, and maybe even understandable given the short turnaround time, but still it is something that I could not help noticing.

Overall it was a positive experience. I did go ahead with additional changes myself. The Linked In instructions do not follow exactly the Linked In page. Some areas like hobbies and certificates I still have not found.

I bought the top priced package which was not cheap but I did get excellent service.
My prior resume/CV document was 4 pages long and was not getting traction with recruiters. The new version is impactful and succinct, fitting to two pages and calling out the big contributions from my previous career roles.
The first draft was with me pretty quick, with just a couple of items I felt could be "tweaked" to improve them.
Changes were made and I now have a document in Word that I can revisit in the future when needed. Not only do I have a good document to start from then, but I know the best way to lay it out and how to write it by following the example my writer set.
And I've got a job, so all is good. Thanks TopResume and Sallie M, my writer!
Tip for consumers:
Make sure you have a detailed document such as a resume or CV to start with, even if it is very long and has a lot of information in it. That gives your writer a place to start, because they do need to know about you and your past in order to craft you a great document as a finished product.

But I have found no luck. Although I have yet to receive any official interview from any employer (because I am attending to school so job hunting process slows down for me).
