I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
Top resume helped me out with my resume writing and they did an excellent job. They were proffessional and very dedicated. I would recommend it to everyone who want to know the real power of a well written resume

I expected a resume better looking than mine but they went above and beyond all my expectations. I was anxious that I might be throwing away my money, but I don't regret it. They did stunning work, made me sound like a million bucks. I am not embarrassed to show my resume to anyone, have been to job fairs and spoke to companies I wouldn't have tried before. I also have been consistently been receiving offers for interviews.

I first got my resume evaluated out of curiosity. TopResume came up with what is lacking in my resume and It totally convinced me.
I am happy I decided to get professional help with my resume. Nancy worked on fixing my resume and she was very quick with her response every time I reached out to her with a new update. She had my draft ready in 2 days. This was followed by a few quick exchange of emails and she was very accommodating to fit in pieces that I had missed providing initially. My resume now shows that I am an achiever and not just a doer. I am very happy with the service.

My writer was terrific in overhauling my dated resume. After spending 10 years in the Navy I did not have a resume that matched the legal industry standard. Resume looked ok but after working with it for jobs. It is missing a lot receding action items that I feel they needed to advise on. Resume was too specific for one job for some one who has done a lot.

The grammar was horrible, and most of the sentences did not make any sense. Will not be using what they sent me. I showed to friend in recruiting and even she thought was horrible. Not quality they sell you, and just glad did not spend more on Cover Letter.

I think that he had to be more careful with spelling and grammar. Overall great experience. Greg was very responsive, helpful and keen on correcting everything I asked. At last, I think that the full package doen't worth it.

Much of what I had been feeling, but was unable to articulate was outlined by the team at top Resume.
They put my resume flaws into perspective and offered examples od ways to improve for free. They offered services which I plan to user as well. I will do what I can based on the results of their review, but I cannot wait until they get ahold if my resume and profile. Looking forward to seeing true results.

Overall the person who helped with my resume did a fine job. However I did find typos that I fixed myself even when she was making larger corrections. The tone of the email communication was very positive and helpful

I have worked in the education industry for 18 years or so and was looking to move to the private sector. I was not having any luck getting call backs or interviews with my resume so I worked with Walt at TopResume to craft a new one and a cover letter. Walt did a fantastic job of highlighting how my skills and experiences would translate to a private company and overall provided a more cohesive and focused document. Within 2 weeks of receiving my new resume and cover letter, I was offered a position as Manager for Leadership and Development with a nationwide company. I submitted my resume to be revised and I got a response within a day. For the most part, I was satisfied with the service and product I received. Visually it was great and formatting was good. The only minor complaint that I have is the spelling errors. It was a little more than a few of them throughout my resume. Overall, I would recommend their service.

I've attempted many times to apply for jobs with my written Resume. I would receive no response or a Thank you, but no thank you response.
I hired TopResume to revamp my Resume. My very first attempt of new employment using my new resume was a success! I received a call back and interviewed within days.
I was told that the job would require a "steep learning curve" however, they were confident of my ability because of my Resume!

I appreciate the final product from TopResume which hopefully will attract the right job opportunities for the management positions I am looking for. However, my resume was passed from one writer to another after (Amy to Matthew M) and the second writer was unclear of the status of my resume when he contacted me. It doesn't seem like any kind of warm handoff was done so that concerned me as an introduction to the company. I also think I was fairly timely in my responses to the drafts but sometimes it was a few days before I got a response back, which also concerned me because of the short timeframe for revisions. In the future I would suggest a better customer service experience and more consistent timeliness of communications

Use someone else...
Okay, so everyone knows that there is some urgency to getting a resume done and obviously time is of the essence. I had never had someone do a professional resume for me (as I don't often interview), so I gave them a chance.
It took them 3 days to even acknowledge my order.
It took them 10 days to get a "first draft".
I gave up...
I will say that I review resumes all of the time and what I got (after 13 days) was:
(a) just a shorter version of what I sent them
(b) used a HORRIBLE template
(c) was very poorly written
Don't use this service... it's essentially a SCAM.

I submitted a three page, professionally edited resume to TopResume for someone within their "top 10%" to improve. They returned a two-page version with over 20 grammatical and spelling errors. I stopped counting just into the second page. I asked them to review and fix the errors. They returned the resume and fixed one error. As I received their replies at about 5AM CST, along with the gross misuse of the English language, I strongly suspect that English is not the first language for this "top 10%" resume writer. Don't waste your money or your time. This is a scam.

I purchased a basic package and within literally 24 hours I was in contact with a writer named Skye. I was initially skeptical of using a service like this but decided to just go for it. It was amazing! I could not believe how quickly Skye reached out to me, prepared a rough draft, and then made changes based upon my feedback. I was very nervous that they wouldn't "get" what I do, but Skye really seemed to understand my goals even better than I did initially and put together an amazing resume, linkedin profile, and cover letter. I am very happy I chose this service and would recommend it to everyone I know. I could not be happier.
