I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I looked at several companies to help me rewrite my resume and found a wide variance of not only cost but how I felt about the representatives that I spoke to. Some seemed to really try to understand my background and goals and others didn't. With TopResume, I found both a very reasonable cost and people that made the effort to understand me and my goals. I am very pleased with the job they did, the responsiveness, and customer care.

This is the first time to get a professional service for preparing my resume and TopResume's support was simply superb! I have been looking for a job for few months and couldn't get any decent interview at all. I came across TopResume and submitted in my resume for a free critique. Only to realise it was because of the way i wrote my resume. I decided to get TopResume writer to help me and the result is awesome! I submitted in my resume again for a few jobs and got more than 2 interviews and got offered a job within a week. I could have got their help earlier! My entire experience with TopResume was an amazing one from beginning to end! After taking a short and easy questionnaire, I was paired with a writer who understood my field. Resume took a few iterations but in the end I was satisfied with the final result. The cover letter seems a bit dry and could use work but it gets the the point, and Im willing to try it. The format of the resume is better than what I was using, as is most of the content.

My writer gave me my first draft in three days, I could tell my writer made some improvement but it's still not in good shape( My writer changed my resume to 1.5 page, which is weird).
For the second draft, my resume was extended to two pages by adding some my projects.
My writer rephrase my word in a more professional way which I think is the most useful part.

I appreciated the fresh take on my original resume and the questionnaire. However, the feedback I gave the writer after the first draft wasn't really incorporated into the final draft. I'm not sure if it was because my notes were too granular and specific which made them difficult to incorporate in a more generic format or if the writer just missed them.
I was satisfied enough with the first draft so I will incorporate the specific changes I was looking for on my own.

I had a resume that I thought was good, but then they showed me that my resume did not have the keywords it needed to be found. Now my resume looks so professional and has the keyword and expressions that can help me to find a good job because it describes exactly my experience and my accomplishment.

I have tried for several years to find a job in my field and to no avail. I felt the only alternative was to get a professional resume written to better my chance of landing an interview. I have applied for several positions I am now waiting to see if I will be chosen for an interview.

I submitted my resume for their free critique. Their suggestions seemed appropriate. I paid for their premium service. I didn't get the two-day turn-around I was promised; I got excuses. The first draft was horrible. In fact, the first draft didn't reflect any of the suggestions from their own critique! The writer promised an immediate response which didn't happen. I had to prod to get a response. Their results seemed rushed and never seemed to incorporate any of the suggestions in their initial critique. Again, more excuses. The Linkedin profile they wrote seemed to be generated by software and, was extremely elementary. I provided them with very detailed feedback, was once again promised "better results" and waited, once again. After two weeks, without a response, and well beyond the writer's commitment date, I requested a full and immediate refund. To their credit, my money was refunded. I would not recommend this service to anyone. I would pay more for a much better result.

I am okay with the overall look & feel of the new resume but not completely satisfied. In creative marketing, I wanted a clean look. However, the content of my resume is definitely more professional when it is rewritten.
It is too soon for me to evaluate if the new resume (& the cover letter) grabs the attention of recruiters as I just got it done over the holidays. I hope so.
I have recommended the service to a couple of friends already who have hired the service!

The resume writers did a good job. They did make a couple of mistakes and I did have an issue which caused a switch to a second writer. The first writer asked me three times what time zone I was in. She appeared to not be paying attention to my answer. She knew where I lived, and that I was not traveling, yet she kept asking me what time zone I was in. It was frustrating, and when I expressed this frustration, she was upset and requested to be taken off the assignment, so I was given another writer. The second writer was very nice and I had no issues with her. The first writer also ignored a key line in my cover letter that I wanted her to use. The second writer used this line without reservation. If I had been assigned the second writer from the beginning, I'd give a 5 star rating.

I kept forgetting to do my part in responding to the questionnaire and providing a resume, but one I did my part your service provided something with aww!
It was my fault for not responding to the questionnaire, I didn't know how important that part was.
Looking at my resume, I just knew that it needed work plus I have been worried about how long it is, and how it represented me.

Just received my first draft from their "professional resume writer". What a disappointment! I am not sure if they are having high school kids or someone just out of college try to write these but this was the worst resume and worst cover letter that I have ever seen. They have no clue what is important and the extremely brief questionnaire fails to capture relevant information. I ask for a refund but they apparently don't give refunds. Now I know why! They are handing me off to another writer so we'll see what happens. I really don't know how they think they can write a resume for someone without speaking to them and understanding what their needs are. I feel like I have been scammed and completely wasted my money. I will update this after I see what the 2nd writer does with my resume.

It took a little longer than I had expected and hoped for. My request was assigned to a writer and then had to be transferred to a new writer. I assume the first writer was overbooked, or no longer employed. Either way, the services were definitely worth waiting for! My writer was kind, genuine, and knowledgeable.
