I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I'm currently looking to switch career paths so was willing to submit my resume for help. Whatever software they use to parse through your resume is subpar, so I could only imagine that any doctoring to it will also be subpar. For example, their software reported back that my employment and work experience is two years, despite my resume reflecting 10+ years.
I received an email today thanking me for resubmitting my resume for critiques, which I didn't. The software seems to want to give a middling rating so you'll consider spending close to $200 for their "services."

My "writer" actually bad-mouthed the service, calling it "a cookie cutter operation"
There were five typos in the first round, including my name and email! I missed opportunities I wanted to apply for due to the major delay in delivery. I strongly suggest you NOT use this service. Also the resume seems oudated and goes against Indeed's guidelines. Wasted almost $200 on this terrible service!

TopResume is a total scam. I submitted my money an resume in good faith and received nothing in return. I have sent several email corespondent and I am still without my money or product. If you doubt me I will happily send you the email chain to provide proof.
Tip for consumers:
Look and review any merchant providing services. If you can't call and talk to a real person don't utilize the services.

This is sham! They take your money and while commissioning them they don't monition the timeline - 10 damn days to get the most basic and mediocre level of work you would not even think of getting from someone who claims to be professional. After amendments the so called professional writer does not even reply, then after repeated follow ups gave a deadline - after his promised deadline - I get an email that the writer is not clear on my deadlines.
DON'T waste your money and time like I did...

I have used Top Resume to rewrite my resume and they took more time than anticipated but finally I got into an internship the next day with the rewritten resume. I don't know its luck or my resume. I went through the process of having my resume reviewed and rewritten. During the writing process I raised concerns that I felt my re-write was pigeon holing me in a field that I was no longer in, and had no interest in. I have been sending out my resume for a couple of months now with no responses. I literally just trying to take the next step, go from 5 years as Assistant Property Manager to Property Manager. When I contacted TopResume I cannot get the same person to respond to answers are all over the place and some are out right offensive, bashing my experience and credentials (Thanks, Erica). I just lost $189 and am going to have to shell out more to get a more professional service to do the same work.

The experience was very easy on my end. All I had to do was submit my current resume that I had made myself and answer a few questions. Less than a week later I had a resume that was put together far better than the one that I did. It also explained my work experience with better detail and more professionalism too.
