I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
From the free resume critique that I requested and received and to the completed end result - I couldn't be more pleased. My personal writer kept in frequent communication with me in order to ensure that she understood what I wanted to highlight in my resume. I had Ruth S. Assist me in writing my resume and she was wonderful! Very inquisitive, and asked detailed questions before writing my first draft which I believe was very helpful in having her write both a cover letter and resume that required minimal revisions following the first draft. I'm still unemployed more than a year later. A recruiter that specializes in my field said it's my resume. Because none of my actual duties are listed ON MY RESUME, it renders me not qualified for the positions I'm applying for.
I recall telling the Top Resume writer the same thing when I paid them hundreds of dollars to write it, but I was assured that isn't necessary nowadays, employers will already know what I did based on my job title.

I paid for the top package through Top Resume.
I throughly enjoyed my resume writer. They were extremely flexible and open to my suggestions/questions. They responded promptly and with a good attitude. I did have a few thoughts surrounding the length and word choice they used in the Resume, compared to other resumes my friends had done (in the same employment field) working in some of the spaces I am interested in).
However, I have not noticed any new job inquiries and I have still not received any job interviews based upon the new resume and LinkedIn profile I have submitted, that was targeted done by Top Resume writer.

Very professional and informative FREE review of my resume! Loved the section by section breakdown of what could be improved on my resume and the specific examples from my resume of things that could be changed. I thought the fact that they ran my resume through similar software to hiring managers and showed what I look like to computers was a great feature.

The writer appointed to me was Abe and he was incredible in getting all my skills and qualities on to the resume. I just had 2 small changes done to the initial draft of resume. And he helped me with that in just a day. He quickly responded, altered the content to my suggestions and even offered me help even after my package was over. He helped me with the resume even after my subscription period to correct a small error and offered me help in the future.
After getting my revised resume, I get calls from recruiters and my application gets viewed.

Started off with some communication. Filled out the questionnaire they sent and then... nothing. No more communication. No more access to the site. When I tried to re-enter the site all I got was the page with the pricing. I guess my background was not "high end" enough for them. Stay away.

I had been stuck with my resume for a long time. I needed a shift and a new perspective as I am now actively seeking new opportunities.
Top Resume was quick and responsive. I did pay the extra fee to expedite my resume which seemed a little excessive. The resume builder was quick with edits and replies to questions. I don't think I needed to pay for the LinkedIn profile upgrade as edits in LinkedIn were easy to make on my own.
Overall, I'm happy with the final result, the look and feel of my resume, and the wording used. I feel much more confident sending the new resume out.

I paid for the "Executive Priority Resume Writing Package" and "Phone Consultation." Nearly $400 down the drain.
The resume and cover letter are entirely generic. Honestly, I bet they use the same template for everyone. They say that the process is "fully collaborative and interactive," but from my experience, it's anything but collaborative and interactive. I had the writer tell me that cover letters are pointless, and that's why she made it so generic. Customer service continually gave me the run around why I wasn't getting revisions after submitting my feedback.
In the end, it was a huge disappointment, a waste of money, and now I'm back where I started. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I secured a 12-month contract the very first time I used the resume they crafted for me after looking for work for nearly a year. I've just had my resume revised and am hoping for a similar outcome in the near future.

Highly advise to NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They did not fulfill their promise to complete the draft in their specified date. If I didn't follow up, this would have slipped through the cracks. What's more frustrating is that you have to communicate by email, which takes longer. I needed my resume on the specified date, as I had a recruiter to meet with. I am so upset that nothing was done!

I ordered a make-over of my Resume' plus the addition of a cover letter. I received a response the same day, with a draft letter and Resume' the following day. Eventually the Resume' went through 3 drafts before I was satisfied. It appeared to me that the Resume' writer was not really familiar with my field(s) of study so that I had to request items be re-positioned in different categories within the Resume'. There were also a small number of instances where the English grammar needed correction. The Cover Letter style was good (as was that of the Resume') but I am not convinced it suits my needs.

I was surprised that the level of writing was so inferior compared to a high school student and that is being polite. Dont waste your money especially if you are expecting someone to comprehend what you do and actually help you market yourself. I would call this service a resume formatting service not a writing service.
