I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I worked with a Heather B., a writer with TopResume. I filled out the questionnaire and uploaded an older resume. What I have today is leaps and bounds ahead of where I was with my old resume. This service is a must have if you want to get ahead of the people looking for the same jobs. Do this now. Don't wait.

Daniela did a fantastic job on my file. Your company stated I would receive more activity with your resume updates and I have. In just a short period of time I have received more responses than in the months prior to the rewrite.

The writer I worked with was AWESOME! She was able to turn around my resume 180 degrees and I was totally impressed that I went as far as requesting the same writer for putting together my Linkedin profile. I would recommend TopResume to anyone who is looking to make a transformational change to their resume. I have since been getting multiple interviews. Cant thank TopResume for the outstanding work.

I started with one writer and after sending her revisions I never received a response, she finally contacted me saying to check my spam folder, it was not there and I asked her to resend- but instead I got an email saying my writer had a family emergency and I was assigned another writer. It went much smoother with my second writer and she was very helpful!

I came upon TopResume searching the web for resume writing advice. My current resume was not getting the responses I was looking for and I needed to advance my career. I thought it was sufficient, but after I submitted it to TopResume, an objective critique from Katie explained why it wasn't. I filled out their online survey and Louise sent my draft back within 2 days. She presented my resume in a polished, easy to read format projecting me as an achiever and not a "doer". I would not have been able to compose this on my own. It was just the basic service for me which was all I needed. I gave it 5 stars based on my own need and not the service as a whole. Any rating above 1 star is fake or paid for. The resume they provided was unprofessional and absolutely terrible. I have over 25 years of experience and they removed 15 years and all my proven accomplishments. Looks like a highschool student wrote. The formatting was terrible. I giant paragraph. Worst resume I have seen in a long time. They absolutely refused to refund my money.

I had 2 resumes written by TopResume... the initial one had the writer asking ME for additional bullet points; and then when I tried to find THAT writer, she was gone. Then, with the rewritten resume, she left out valuable years of experience that needed to be shown. You can't speak with the "writers" if you didn't pay additional fees! Neither one of these resumes are worth the paper that they're written on. They used the WRONG style of resume first of all. They claim to know so much about writing resumes; however, they don't know the proper format to use. STAY AWAY! If I didn't have to give them 1 star, I wouldn't!

I always had my confidence on the resume I wrote. One day when I visited one random job site and there was a link on the side asking me if I wanted a free resume review. So I was thinking why not. How bad it could be. Less than one day the feedback came back. It listed a lot of points as to what was missing, what is the thinking from a recruiter point of view when they see my resume, and what could be improved. So I signed up afterword. As it turned out that is the best investment I have ever made. The resume writer turned around so quick and the result is stunning. I am so happy. I highly recommend the service.

My resume was created by a professional several years ago but I found that the format was outdated. After getting my initial drafts from TopResume, I had to send it back a few times for typos, grammar, work history content, and the misspelling for one of my previous employers (YIKES!). The rep was eager to work with me and apologized for the re-writes. She ended up with a quality resume that has been noticed and downloaded by prospective employers and recruiters. I didn't even pay for their services. I received the free resume critique upon my signup. The person who critiqued my resume, Katie, told me my resume was unappealing and she "strongly recommended" I get someone to rewrite is for me (implying that I was unable to make the suggested edits myself), among other things that I found downright offensive. For a company who claims to want to help people, they sure don't teach their employees how to win people over. I reached out to the company to send them my thoughts about this and nobody responded to me. Some customer service. I won't be using their services and I'll be telling anyone I know seeking a job to stay far away.

Its been some time since I have been in the market for a job, and I was using an out of date format that wasn't making it thru HR reviews utilizing the latest evaluation techniques. I also needed a resume that dug a little deeper and highlighted my skill sets in a format that HR reviewers would take the time to read. I got what I needed from TopResume. If you are looking for a fantastic resume this is the place to get it. Top resume are fast, efficient and very friendly. I am 60 and most of my working life I didn't need a resume and I had no idea how to right one so I got top resume to do this for me and I couldn't be happier. The only problem I have found is some employers adds want your resume to be under 500mb long and mine is longer but this is not too big an issue as it works fine for most jobs I apply for.
