I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
The process of submitting my resume for a professional rewrite was amazing! The whole process took less than two weeks, and I love the result. I even got an interview based on the draft version of my resume that i sent out in the middle of the process. Lynda did an amazing job. Overall I am pleased with the service provided by TopResume. I like how they asked me to submit example job postings I would like to apply to. And their reformatting of my résumé was excellent. The cover letter was a little generic. I wish I had the opportunity to get to know my writer a bit more which would have strengthened the overall products. And I wish they did a better job explaining their additional services. I am intrigued about their LinkedIn rewriting service, but would like a clearer idea of what they do.

TopResume is a total scam. I resubmitted a resume through thier online submission critique. They rated the resume very low, my resume is more of a doer instead of an achiever. The same response you get if you submit a resume through TopResume, in order for you to consider TopResume to rewrite your bad resume. The funny thing is that the resume TopResume grated so low was the same resume they done for me a month ago. They rated their own resume as terrible. And my resume, according to TopResume, was written by their top 10 best writers. Total scam. If anyone has gone through TopResume, resubmit the exact resume that TopResume created for you through their critique site. They will say it needs to be redone. Even weeks later since I resubmitted the resume they are sending me offers to get the resume rewritten because it's not competitve and my resume needs to be written by professionals like people from TopResume.

I was on the fence about getting a resume writing service for awhile before I finally settled with Top Resume. I got their top tier package and was not disappointed. My writer was very knowledgeable about the field I was trying to make a break in and how to put my current skillset and certifications on paper and make them sound way better then what I had come up with. My writer was very quick in her correspondence and literally I could email her at any hour of the day and I got an almost instant response! It's still fairly recent since I got my final product but I can say I've had a few interviews already and I'm very hopeful for my future and I couldn't have done it without the boost I got from these guys! Definitely would recommend to anybody trying to change careers or fields.
Tip for consumers:
Go ahead and get the LinkedIn package because you get their best writers and it really does make a difference. Dont be cheap, you're investing in your future and it will show!

Danita (TopResume Writer) made my resume look so good, that I am pretty sure I would not have been able to do it myself. I was sent a review of my resume that claimed to be individualized feedback on my resume. I was given a person's name and picture that reviewed it "Katie" somebody. Because the feedback came overnight on a weekend, I was skeptical that some hard working person had read and critiqued my resume between Saturday night and Sunday AM.
While it is possible that running resumes through software and tuning them to contain more of the wording that registers on automated systems would be helpful, all the upfront deception is disgusting. I am going to check the box below confirming that I am not a robot. However, "Katie" whomever is a robot. Also ironic is the box I check to certify that my review is genuine and from my own experience - guilty consciences?

Had an outdated resume, and used TopResume to evaluate my resume, and I agreed with their assessment and was hoping they could help. I talked to a friend that was in the HR field, and he said not only did he recommend them, but he had used them for his resume. The writer I worked with was very good, I had a lot of questions and some minor revisions, he worked with me to clearly answer those questions and worked with me on the revision. I bought the service that was a resume, cover letter, and Linkedin profile with 2-day turn-around for the first draft of the resume.
If I have anything negative to say, I wish the LinkedIn profile rewrite was a little more unique. It felt mostly like a set of directions on how to copy and paste your resume into LinkedIn.
I would definitely recommend TopResume to update your resume.
