I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
There were quite a few grammatical errors and typos that weren't worth going back-and-forth about so I just fix them myself. It's worth running it through an application like Grammarly to make sure you have everything right. I would definitely not send it out without a proofread. I've never used a service like this before so I was unsure of what to expect. The writer that was assigned to my order was BEYOND professional, helpful and friendly. They listened to all my feedback, even though they already knew what to do and the resume that i got back is incredible! I'm so thankful that I used TopResume and I have been referring all my friends/family to them!

I got the resume redo as well as the LinkedIn upgrade. The LinkedIn upgrade was nowhere near worth it. I could have cut and pasted from the resume myself just as easily. I had to re-re word the resume after it was all done.

Bought their best pacakge guaranteeing 48 hour turnaround time, two review for resume, cover letter, LinkedIn review and a sixty day interview guarantee... wow! I got a response for resource assignment within 2 days and then first draft in 4 days with an average remake of original resume and a cover letter - only after I complained the third day. I was asked to provide a response in next 7 days for which I replied in 4 days never to hear back. Finally I complained again on the 14th day of engagement after which I was sent another slightly updated version and an email that the engagement has been closed. No LinkedIn review was provided.

They made statements on my resume that weren't true. They bulleted skills of a medical assistant when I am a nurse practitioner and would be laughed at for boasting about taking vitals. They lumped all my jobs into one- listing me at one clinic for 10 years and adding all the various skills I did under that one place when it's not true and easily verified that the clinic doesn't do any of this. I paid for 2 day service and didn't get the documents on time. The author did not promptly explain himself as to why he did such a horrible job and I requested a refund. I suspect I will have to go to bank to fight it.
ETA report this to the AG and to your bank... I got a refund cause I fought and had a case.
Tip for consumers:
go somewhere else. The work done is laughable and would get me dismissed by every clinic.

I wrote my own resume years ago based on information from various groups. I thought it was pretty good. Then TopResume did a free evaluation of it and told me how inadequate it was. It wasn't just how bad they said it was, but they had hard data and excerpts from my resume to show why. I paid for their premium service because I figured if I'm going to have my resume redone, then my cover letter and LinkedIn page should be done as well.
I couldn't be happier. My resume is GOOD, my cover letter is very well written, and on my LinkedIn page, my profile strength (their rating) has gone from Good, to All Star).
I couldn't be happier with their service, and the resume was written in 3 days.

Overall it was a pretty good experience. The writer did a great job at articulating my strengths in a way I never would have been creative enough to do. I didn't ask him to change the spelling and grammatical errors because I thought that was a given and did not want to offend since it was the rough draft but the final draft had the same grammatical and spelling errors. It was an easy fix but for the price you'd think it wouldn't need to be fixed.

I was hesitant to pay for these services, but my resume needed some serious help. It wasn't a week after I received my updated resume, and I was offered a position. The Top Resume professional I was assigned to was great and very responsive. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the creativity behind the resume. It was very boring/simple and with having a Marketing major it doesn't show that.

Frustrating and a waste of money. If it is not their idea, it is a bad idea. I had 2 writers I sent writer 2 what I had with all of my changes. Mainly what writer 2 was picking at was what I left in my resume of what writer 1 did. They keep telling my the my resume would score poorly in the ATS I received a 98% work match on ATS software I personally ran. Don't bother with Topresume get a real professional.

I was hesitant to pay for someone to write a resume for me. I didn't think they could express my experiences accurately. Well, they did it in a clearer and more concise way than I could.
The writer presented me with an appealing resume and cover letter. I did have a few suggestions, questions, and points of emphasis that I wanted changed. I expressed my ideas, and the writer nailed it on the second draft.
I'm glad I overcame my hesitation to procede, as the finished product was more than I had expected.
