I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I am hoping to change career fields, so I used this service to help tailor my resume to reflect this. My resume writer used my input and created a great resume and cover letter within a week. The process was very easy and the product was worth it.

I finished Grad school and was applying for jobs but couldn't seem to get any responses on my applications. I decided to give TopResume a shot to update my resume design and content. I love the new layout and design, I never would've thought to organize the material the way they did. I also had a cover letter written because I never seem to find the right wording for that. Overall, I am happy with both products and have since received 2 interviews since submitting my new documents.

I originally had no idea this type of service was available. After weeks of going back and forth, and paying $175! They could not identify what industry I was in, The resume was littered in typos, and I was embarrassed to send out to employers. They have cost me my valuable time & money.

I signed up in April 2019 and have had absolutely ZERO results. I am a highly accomplished professional in the financial services industry, yet the resume and cover letter they did for me has done less than nothing for me. Honestly, I did better with my own resume that they said was basically garbage than I have done with their "professional" version. I am so disappointed in the service and I feel like I have flushed $300+ that I couldn't afford right down the toilet. I feel taken advantage of because I am desperate for a job that is appropriate to my skills and experience and I was led to believe that this would be an investment that would yield returns. I will never recommend their services to anyone and I want people to know that this is really a scam. They should be ashamed of taking advantage of people like me.

The process was easy, to say the least. While I already had a resume that I was fairly proud of, what Ashton A. From TopResume did was nothing short of a major transformation for the better. As we went through a couple rounds of drafts, I was pleased that Ashton would take the time to either include my edits verbatim when appropriate, or to provide the rationale for why my "suggestion" wasn't exactly what my resume (and cover letter) needed. I had been at my last job for 10 years and my resume was even older than that. For two years i had sent my resume to different openings. Most times I did not get a response and the rest of the times I got emails saying they had decided to interview other people. I still had my old job so there was no rush to land an interview until I realized the amount of time that I had spent trying without success and I was ready for more, I was ready for a change. I had a great experience using their services. They rewrote my resume to gear it towards the position I am seeking instead of my current position. At first, I was disappointed that I had to wait a week to be "matched" to the "appropriate" writer even though the ad for Top Resume stated I could receive my re-written resume in a few days. After a follow-up email for an update, the writer was prompt, professional and supportive.

If your resume is not getting calls for job you apply to, then the resume is not doing its job. I paid premium for premium service but only ended up with resume that doesn't get calls. They did a wonderful job critiquing the resume but only some amateur will do the resume with no idea what the critique was. They don't even care to scan the results to see if it will score high marks in any ATS. I am still very disappointed in them. I definitely do not recommend TopResume. But I have to also say that the LinkedIn profile they did for me was satisfactory.
