These cowboys are a bunch of thieves who change the T&Cs as they go along. At first it was 50 quid thieving per booking (which Ali Shah publicly declared) but this has now gone up to 75 plus card fee (which is illegal) within days of his interview. Despite all the negative press and a v high profile FB group of 2k disgruntled customers, these thieves are not able to behave with an iota of honour. I hope they go bankrupt and Ali Shah is struck off from running a company. Shameless and greedy.
False advertisement for hotel with meal plan. Customer service rude and still awaiting call back to make things right! Vacation is over and I wasn't contacted by anyone with travel up. I would even give one star
This company is fraudulent. It cancelled flights to luxor and refused to give me my money back going against EU regulations. They have offered me an EgyptAir voucher that I do not want, and only did so on me chasing them several times. You cannot call them, they do not answer the phone or reply to emails. I will never book with travel up again, they are crooks and i am out of pocket by 800 GBP.
I was charged for a hotel booking by travel up. It looked like a real bargain. I paid full fee with my credit card. Then I was informed by travel up company that the bookings didn't go through. How could a company have done this to any customer.
It is terrible for a company doing this. Anyone should stay away from travel up. Also I believe that TripAdvisor should take some responsibility for letting travel up using its website.
Booked flights to Barbados to fly out in November, these flights got cancelled and I've been awaiting a refund for 8 weeks. I emailed them several times but never got any response.
My flights cost £502. Today I finally received a refund but for £328, not surprised it was short of the full amount due to the unprofessional way this company have conducted themselves through the entire process. I now have to raise a chargeback with my bank for the difference I'm owed.
This company might have good deals but if things go wrong they ignore you and rip you off. I'll always book flights direct with the airline in future and would advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs.
The room at Temple Bar was unacceptably flawed with a water leak causing a wet carpet when I arrived. The room smelled wet as if this condition should have been corrected far before my stay. Because I made the reservation through TravelUp, they weren't able or willing to offer any refund. This is a big disadvantage of using 3rd party reservation sites like TravelUp. It puts a 3rd party between the customer and hotel making customer service difficult. Would TravelUp be willing to be my advocate to seek a discount for this terrible experience? This will tell me alot about whether to ever use this site again or not.

It has been horrible. My reservation is still not showing up at the Hotel I booked. For me to have to wait another 24-48 hours and chase this down is not acceptable. It is Spring Break and I need to know from the Hotel I'm Staying at that I have a room!

Horrible customer service and a complete scam. We booked flights back home on Copa Airlines and TravelUp took our $1300 but did not pay Copa. After calling and emailing numerous times we were lied to repeatedly and told that the issue had been resolved despite Copa's site still showing nonpayment by TravelUp. When we arrived at the airport, our worst fears were realized when the Copa agent confirmed that no payment had been received and that the "ticket numbers" we were issued were invalid. Tried calling TravelUp again from the airport and they denied even having a reservation in our name and hung up on us. Had to rebook $2700 tickets to get home on top of the $1300 we had already paid TravelUp. Have already put the charge in dispute with our bank and are reporting TravelUp to every regulatory agency in the US and the UK in addition to filing claims against them. A complete nightmare, do fall victim to their scam as we did! Avoid like the plague!

Today I choose to book a hotel in Vegas using this website. What a mistake or should have known when the website kicked me back twice with the wrong dates but the price made me attempt a third time. I requested a 3 day hotel stay from 4/20/20 to 4/23/20 and was booked for 4/232-4/24/20 a date I will not be there not did I request. I immediately contacted customer service who spent 5 mins on the phone telling me there was nothing they could do and to send an email. I followed the instructions and emailed the company and a rep named Danny Morrison have me nothing but a there's nothing we can do email. Disgusting company I will be reporting the to the hotel I tried to book as well as the proper channels to report fraud for unauthorized charges. DO NOT USE!
Hello! I recently booked at the Rancho Bernardo Inn for your site. It clearly stated in the fine print below rates that the price was "inclusive of resort fees." After purchasing nice day, the fine print below the order confirmation set otherwise, i. E. that upon arrival we would need to pay a $29 resort fee. There is no phone number, and no obvious way to contact customer support. This was extremely disappointing as apparently purchases are nonrefundable. And if this is indeed correct, is very misleading. I'm not sure what else "inclusive resort fees" means other than the resort fee is included in the advertise price.

I know there are many good reviews for this company.
However, mine isn't off that nature.
Unfortunately, I have fallen unwell and can no longer make my flights in January due to a newly scheduled operation.
I purchased non-refundable tickets, so understand there will be no refund.
I have tried to change my booking dates, the information they have sent out shows that it would be £250/pp to change. This is not the case and they want to charge me more than the tickets to change the dates. It would be cheaper for me to not make the flight and book new ones completely.
You work hard to book tickets to travel and something unexpected comes along. There doesn't seem to be any escape from the unfortunate and Travel Up don't seem to want to make it any better.
Please avoid in general. Trying to get through to them on the phone has been extremely difficult.

No other company has charged us admin costs but Travelup, not only never replied to any of my emails, but also charged us £50 administration costs on flights that only totalled £200! Outrageous and will not be using them ever again.
STAY AWAY! An absolute nightmare to speak to anyone if you have problems. I have waited for hours on the phone, only to be cut off numerous times as soon as they answer.
I have emailed, tweeted and had an airline staff calling them to no avail.
Paid for extra leg room seats due to medical reasons only to be informed at the airport the seat size is the same as the others, and there was no reason to pay extra, the airline dont charge extra to select them seats. Ended up paying just under a £1000 at the airport for business class upgrade. That was one way!
It may well be an airline issue, but would expect the booking company to respond and or assist when they took the money and charged for a service.
Stay away, many other decent companies out there who will go out of their way to help.
Nothing worse then being on holiday and trying to call to discuss return arrangements.

The email received after booking was unclear and did not give instructions on how to pay the balance. When trying to log in to manage my booking I was bounced out saying invalid booking number and/or invalid surname. Tried multiple combinations. Given the lack of hotel confirmation I was exceedingly worried that perhaps I had been scammed! The app virtual assistant kept asking for a flight number. There was literally no way to verify hotel booking without contacting customer support, and based on the responses I'm still not 100% sure my booking has actually gone through and is confirmed.

We hopefully have a reservation coming up through travel up. The dates are incorrect, there is one day we didn't ask for. We informed them of their error and they informed us they couldn't change this. We travel globally 4-5 times a year. I never had this trouble with any other site. Buyer beware. Rude agents who are not helpful. Very slow response time.
First time using travelup. Yes the price was decent but their customer service suck. They wouldn't work with me at all. Operators are rude. They wouldn't accommodate my trip for me just because I had a last minute emergency … I wouldn't recommend to anyone….

I purchased a ticket from Townsville to Hawaii. The flight from Townsville was cancelled and they didn't even notify me. Ive missed 4 connections because of them. Im out thousands * of dollars. The worst part is that my ticket was INSURED and they won't even email me back. Ive been trying to get in touch with this company for DAYS after they screwed me over with my flights to get a refund or rescheduled flight. The cowards won't even return my calls or emails. IM PISSED and ill be taking legal action if they don't give me my money back.
Its a complete scam. The level of unprofessionalism is astounding and down right criminal.
Ive spoken to jetstar and filed a claim against them but still I haven't heard anything. Rest assured I won't stop until justice is served.
Save yourself the trouble and stay far far away from this company.
The booking was really simple and great prices. The only thing I think you could change is the reservation takes a while to be shown in the system and it should just be in your profile ready to view instead of searching for your booking information. It was unclear to me which reservation number to use and what surname was. I didn't know whether to use the full name or not. I finally figured it out but those couple of things would make it easier.

Our website will state board plan/meal plan for each hotel room however next to this is will state which meal plan is included (room only, bed & breakfast, half board, full board or all inclusive). The room which you confirmed on our website was based on a room only basis so no meal plan was included. If you search a hotel on our website you will see where this is mentioned.
This was also shown on your confirmation and hotel voucher so unfortunately we are unable to assist you further.
