Good overall experience. Great price for the hotel I chose. The online booking system froze on me several times and I had to call your help desk for assistance. The customer service rep was very difficult to understand.
I spent $1800 through travel up for a hotel resort for my family. They sent a "voucher" to provide the hotel. The hotel had no clue what this voucher was and said to call and get a confirmation number from travel up. When you call them they speak horrible broken English (foreigners) and They eventually ignored me and stole my money. They are scammers. Get off your asses and work for your money instead of stealing from hard working people! Pathetic!
Horrible experience! They have hotels on here that don't even exist! I requested a refund because I booked a room At the hard rock hotel in Las Vegas But that hotel is tore down but you had it on your website! I would like a refund! My lawyer will be contacted
After booking and getting e-ticket they started changing in my travel date. They have destroyed my total schedule. I have lost my business meeting as well because of this $#*! company. They don't pick up the phone even.

Great price. Easy to use. I was worried because of all the negative reviews but it certainly worked out for us price was great and I verified our reservation and it's there at the hotel so we will use them again. Thank you travel up.
Booked a hotel in portland OR on travelup during the recent snowstorm then was told by the hotel that they were not accepting reservations and that travelUp should have known that. Emailed customer service and they requested I not dispute the charge with my credit card company. Ha. Overall was tempted by the low price but left me on a difficult situation with no place to stay in the snow.

We paid almost three hundred dollars a night for a hotel room that was tiny dirty and at the very back of the property. When i asked the hotel for the room rates I was told for a week for two people it was four hundred and seventy seven dollars. We stayed at the hotel for ten days. The Better Business Bureau were off should have been one star for location. Do Not use this company unless you know the hotel and have stayed there. They pray on people who trust them to find decent affordable hotels!

Do not use at any cost. They disconnected there phone lines but still send you emails offering cheap travel destinations. Even 1 star is to high for these cow boys.
Flights cancelled in May due to covid, filled out forms, chased repeatedly now waited 15 weeks and still no refund. The law says should be within 2 weeks, i appreciated covid would cause delay but this is unacceptable, said this to the Agent and he replied "if you dont like it, feel free to take legal action' unbelievable and shocking customer service, having used them many times before, will never touch them again, they want your money but take no ownership to help when things go wrong.

I booked a hotel on the site and wanted to cancel reservation two hours later. This was 12 days before I was scheduled to arrive. The hotel itself was a 48 hour cancellation policy. This site charged my an approximate $400 fee for cancellation and refused to amend this. It says its suppliers were charging it this fee but refused to tell me who these suppliers were. Never use this site. You can cancel on expedia or kayak without penalties.

The cancellation charges are stated on your booking before confirmation as these are what our suppliers charge to us on cancellation. As your booking was already in cancellation charges at time of booking this means that you could not cancel without their charges, which is not the case for many bookings

I have contacted Travelup literally dozens of times. Lost count now. Managed to speak to them once. I couldn't even hear them so hopeless.
A BA flight that was in the quarantine zone in
Portugal. I always book direct with BA and will never make this mistake again. My friend was given two options three months ago for the same flight by BA. Refund or vouchers. Me, can't even get a reply.
Spoke to BA who said they had t received payment for the flight and they should at least give me a credit but as it's with a travel agency, they are responsible. No, still no response to any method of contact.
Companies will live or die by how they treat people. This company deserves to fail and as a business owner, I don't say that lightly.
We booked our massive holiday to go back to New Zealand and Australia in December of 2019 for May 2020 through travelup ( flying Emirates). We saved up ALL year for these very expensive flight tickets home. When the news broke of Covid, we emailed and emailed. 3 months have passed and not a single response to us. They have disconnected their phone lines and have pretty much robbed us- even though the big air companies have refunded them. We are so unhappy and are looking to take this further. If anyone can recommend how to do this? It's honestly the most shocking company I've ever experienced and this should NEVER be allowed to happen.
Tested positive for covid the day before my trip. Called to cancel hotel reservation. Automated attendant said refund would be issued in 3 to 5 business days. No refund was ever issued. Sent proof of medical records and refund was still denied. Book with a reputable site not this one.

We can see that you contacted us (Travelup) after your check-in date had passed, so unfortunately your reservation was non-refundable and as per our terms we are unable to refund for any no-shows.
Our team will always do their best to assist however, as we do not work with the hotels directly, we have to raise any waiver requests with our third party supplier, who in turn will discuss the case further with the hotel.
As mentioned, you were unable to travel due to a medical reason, and as per our terms and conditions, which were agreed to at the time of booking, each member of the booking must have travel insurance. We would recommend contacting your travel insurance to see if they can cover you due to the circumstances.

Disgusting customer service! Over 100 emails sent with not a single reply! Each time I call they hang up instantly if you mention refund!
My flight was cancelled over 6 months ago and not a single word from them! This company needs investigating fast as they are scamming customers!
Any company who breaches their terms and conditions and then attempts to rewrite these as a means of profiteering during a pandemic is wholly without any moral code. It is primarily illegal and unlawful. As a customer they are non contactable (telephone, chat, email etc). Left me with no other option but to pursue a chargeback to ensure I got my money back. This was our first and last time using - TravelUP...
I booked the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando for January of next year earlier today and after I reviewed a booking confirmation from them I booked my flights and finalized my trip. I just received an email from travelup saying saying "Unfortunately your requested hotel has failed to confirm with our supplier." Basically they revoked my booking and said I could now decide to get a Room Only Suite at that same holet for $1943. 83 at an additional cost of 928.83$. So with travelup you are in a one way contract. You can't cancel your trip without expense, but they can cancel yours on their end with no compensation. Of course my credit card has been charged so now I'm trying to get a refund. What a runaround. SNAKES
Answer: Hopeless. They don't reply to emails. Can't get through on the phone. Useless. Better to forget about them and lose the stress. Have accepted I'll never see my money again.
