I booked the hotel on the Travelup site. Once the booking was done I had to cancel it as it was one price during the booking then the final price increased almost 5 times. I sent several emails and called to Travelup. Finally I got an answer that they will do a full refund. I sent several emails with request to inform when ghey do a refund. Up to now I I have not received the clear answer when the return me my money i. E 1620 USD
I just booked a flight from travel up, the original price of the flight is £5XX, and I added £1XX for the checked baggage. After I paid, the confirmation email told me that I only booked for hand baggage. I have called the customer service team and they said that's what I booked, I requested to cancel the booking, and it charged me £90. That's not reasonable
I booked a hotel through TravelUp for two nights. I paid cancellation insurance fee. Due to bad weather I couldn't make it to my destination for the first night. I emailed and called them( no answer but left a voice message) early in day to cancel the first night because of flight delay. When I got to my destination the following evening I took taxi from airport to the hotel only to be told my reservation was canceled because I was a no show. I called TravelUp and spoke to a gentleman who said they had notified the hotel and will work on getting my money back. Later they email me to say that the hotel will not refund me.
My experiencie was terrific. I do not know if this review is a kind of joke. I purchased my stay in Sofitel New York and I paid for it.
When I arrived at the door of the Hotel I realized that was closed (in fact more than a year ago). And I have no solutions yet. Is a complete FRAUD

I emailed and received no response as to whether my booking is legitimate or not. My bank account is frozen and I would be genuinely furious to have this be a scam as the trip is for a single mom and her 3 year old. How unsatisfied would it be to show up and have no where to stay and have paid my rents amount to stay somewhere and just be jipped.

I booked a flight with British Airways to AVOID American Airlines who regularly cancels flights. The initial confirmation showed us booked with BA only to find out the next day we were on an AA flight and had been charged already. The proper thing to do would have been to warn the traveler up front. I am a regular international traveler and will avoid TravelUP and recommend that other not use your platform.

The airline cancel the trip, but I paid 735 euros and just want to give me back 18 euros, its impossible, since Augoust 2023 im trying to get my money back and they didnt reply me propertly. Seems like a scam page just took my money. The only thing that they can say is you need to choose a refundable ticket, yes but I didnt cancel the flight the airline did it, so it must return the money. Please do not use TravelUp is a scam page.

I wish I could give them less than one star. Can't really say much positive about a company who spent 5 months ignoring every email and message I sent them and retrospectively altered their terms and conditions to include a cancellation refund fee of £50. After weeks of not hearing from them I applied for a chargeback from my bank. TravelUp then contacted my bank, informing them that I should have contact them (I had written 12 emails). They took 5 months to process a refund, always claiming that the money was with Emirates, who repeatedly refuted their claims. DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELUP. They've spent months ignoring customers emails, but a quick glance at TrustPilot shows they're reporting negative reviews. Such a disgraceful company.
Terrible experience. It said that it was a pet-friendly room when I booked. Then I found out from the hotel that it wasn't and TravelUp couldn't get it changed to a less expensive, dog-friendly room. And the hotel manager of the third-party bookings said they could have cancelled my reservation or changed rooms for free. They put a note on my file as well showing this. I would like a refund or for my room to be changed to the double queen room that allows dogs. We still have 8 days of free changes and free cancellation confirmed with the hotel.

There was an additional $100+ "Destination Fee" that was added on top of what I paid when I signed up... just include that in the price instead of after charges

Worst check experience in my life. The room has a view of trash. Check in takes for ever. Requested a high Floor and they gave me the 8th which is the third lower floor. No Microwave, No fridge. Pool for families is closed at 5pm but even if you do a check in after 5pm you still have to pay the resort fee. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to No one.
Held my reservation for future use after selling my tickets to the highest bidder. Deceitful email after email with unrealistic promises.
These company changed my tickets several times and told the airline to hold my ticket for future use. They will take you back and forth when you call for updates. I had to spend £20 to call the airline by myself to find out what was going on and why was the ticket I bought 7 months ago was being messed with. The lady who was handling my booking was Sofia and was full of lies.
I would say very unreliable, DECIETFUL and unprofessional with their customers.

I booked March 2020 and was charged an admin fee illegally as I have my terms and conditions printed out which states FULL REFUND. - now at small claims court - travel up have ignored 40 plus emails I've sent them - go direct to the airline they will never get my money again
Booked tickets to US. Unfortunately couldn't travel due to my wife's mental health issues. Contacted travelup to cancel tickets. They said tickets are non refundable and asked me to send them cancellation request. And offered £35 travelup vouchers per ticket only. Where non refundable tickets still eligible for some tax refund. Which is equivialant to almost £115. I then got in touch with the airline, explained my situation. They asked to provide a doctor's note. But i had to go through travelup. Submitted the doctors note through travelup. The airline generously refunded all the tickets in full even the seat assignment fee. But travelup didn't miss the opportunity to charge me £50 in booking fee and £75 per ticket in cancellation fee. Total of £350. Quite a ripoff it is. They made money out of my situation. Normally they get only £50 in booking fees.But they did not consider my situation at all. I won't recommend anyone buying tickets from Travelup. Please avoid all travel agents and buy direct from the airline websites which with lots of other benfits.

Scam company. Got a confirmation my flight was booked, then a few days later an email saying they couldn't book and offering 3 different flights of no use as I'd already booked train tickets. I found the same flights with travelup so I found and rebooked the same flights again with travelup at £5 extra to be told that it didn't go through either as it wasn't available (clearly was, twice). A few days later after the money cleared (surprise) I got the same email with the same wording offering 3 useless alternative options. I haven't had a refund weeks later on either payment despite their t&c and representative telling me 3-5 working day. Luckily I used a credit card to do a chargeback process but would avoid this company 100% they shouldn't be in business.

My return flight was cancelled by the airline and after 13 months still waiting for a refund from travelup and now after many emails that they have not answered they are telling me I will only receive £31 refund out of £145 that the qatarairways has been refunded to them ages ago. I have had 2 flights cancelled last year and trying to use them all up with the only 1 year given prior expiry of such said vouchers. Since I cannot travel by plane to my country, I have had to make use of it for hotels in different cities in the United Kingdom. Most suggestions are not the best and every purchase has a £15 service fee, I also cannot plan and buy for multiple trips at a time making the £15 service fee amount to almost £100 out of my £524 ticket voucher, ain´t you trying to be lucky TRAVELUP?!

The service fee that you refer to is included in all our bookings and is inclusive in the displayed price. It is not an additional cost upon checkout. We feel that our prices are still some of the best available. If you are finding cheaper prices for the same accommodation on other websites, please do let a members of our team know, and they will see if the quote can be price matched.
So my fiance and I booked our annual spring vacation in March. We booked months ahead like usual in December the previous year. Covid came along and travel bans were put into affect so we couldn't go anywhere. So we asked for a refund. 6 months later we get half the money back. They kept the rest as a "cancelation fee" mind you this was during a global pandemic when there wasn't an option to travel.
Answer: Hopeless. They don't reply to emails. Can't get through on the phone. Useless. Better to forget about them and lose the stress. Have accepted I'll never see my money again.
