I used viagogo to purchase tickets without reading any reviews. I then read the reviews here and became very anxious. The e tickets came through but were in Row S instead of Row R as I had ordered. I wasn't worried about being one row behind but the discrepancy worried me in case it was a sign of the tickets being dodgy. I used Live Chat a few times and they were really friendly and reassuring. I was still nervous when I got to the venue but only because of all the negative reviews I had read. As it happened, we sailed through the gates and happily took our seats in Row S.

Not only did I not receive the tickets I purchased, but customer service was not help at all. Live chat is the only option and on several occasions had to wait over 30 minutes for an operator. I was at the event trying to get things straightened out and was told I would receive an email listing replacement options and it never came. I finally the day after got them to agree to a refund, but surprise, surprise it will take 10 business days

My daughter bought tickets for a soccer game in Barcelona Spain. When she got there the tickets were bogus. It was impossible to reach anyone at Viagogo either by email or phone either in Spain or the US to handle the problem. When we tried to deny the charge on my credit card, my bank came back weeks later saying that the company wanted documentation that was impossible to provide weeks after the fact (i. E. documentation from a second merchant that the tickets were fake). Terrible, fraudulent company with non-existent customer service. Don't buy tickets from them!

Ordered tickets for Dynamo magician in oct 2015 and arrived today 4/2/2016( acceptable as they've been delivered) I payed £290 for 2 tickets delivered when the face value of the tickets are £39 each plus £5.50 booking fee each so a total of £44.50 each £89.00 for 2. Don't look like the seats I requested are correct either, what a total rip off, I'm disgusted with viagogo, not a happy customer! I'd never in a million years use this shambles/rip off company again or advise anyone else to use them. I've bought a large number of tickets in the past and never been ripped off. You viagogo are a no go go! RIP OFF B$%#¥€%S

We were charged over $146 for two tickets that cost $20 each, plus a small fee and taxes. In other words, we paid almost three times the cost to purchase these tickets ($54 vs. the $146 they charged. Called and they said that was their price and you have no recourse. Will never purchase again from them! Lesson learned...

They are thieves! I went through a purchase process until they finally displayed the price total (which was more with 60% than the initial price). Obviously I hit cancel. Guess what, they still charged my debit card and now they refuse to give me back my money.

They asking my email. I say forgotten. They can give me 2 different email... what is happening. Their viagogo website. I cant log in... what a poor site. Pls dont go into it anymore... poor handling of situation... now I have to buy from more secure website..

I am new to buying tickets online and foolishly did not realize this is a sell on site. They did not state the exorbitant fees until you click 'pay'. Then the event was cancelled so they refuse to return the money. They should be banned from trading

Why are you such a rip off and over charging your customers, how can you live with yourselves knowing that you are ripping innocent people off with the prices and then the over charging of shipping (which is in email form, so what did you ship!) No-one should ever use this site for tickets its crap

Institutional scam...
I was charged twice the face-value plus £20 added per ticket for booking fee & £10 for delivery fee, once my credit card details were entered
I am contacting my credit card company as well as the fair trade office, although it is unlikely that I will get my money back.

I took a chance on ViaGoGo and I shouldn't have. This was absolutely the worst service I've ever received from a ticket seller.

I tried to purchase a parking pass to a football game at the stadium lots. What they sent me was a parking pass to some restaurant down the streets that ran a shuttle service.

Several reps didn't seem to understand the difference. They refused to provide an actual parking pass or a refund. I'll never buy from them again and everyone should stay away.

Use another ticket reseller

Stupidly didn't buy my test match tickets when they were available from Trent Bridge. Used these cowboys and they charged me £397 for 2 £70 tickets. Can understand paying over the odds when tickets are scarce but in my ignorance I didn't realise the price until my tickets arrived. PLEASE don't use them.

One Star is to much for this site. Do not buy tickets, there are many hidden charges, Tickets can be found on many sites for half the cost. Tickets can be fake tickets, there customer support is non existent, Unhelpful and basically if they have your money you are not getting it back. They will even resell your tickets for way less than you paid and over charge the next person. Take my advice do not enter this site or make any purchases you will be sorry..

I didn't read the reviews before I dealt with this company, and I wish I had! They are absolutely unreachable for any kind of customer service and they are extremely overpriced! They charged $60 fees for two $70 tickets. I paid over $300 and the same tickets were on ticketmaster for $173. Do NOT go through what I have with this company. You will regret it. No integrity. They are out of the country so forget trying to get any answers or help.
I have never written a negative review and this was more than worth the time if it saves one person from dealing with this company and getting taken advantage of!

My wife purchased 2 tickets for Elton John. We have been on the phone multiple times. They ha e told us that they have confirmation that the tickets have been emailed and should be in our Ticketmaster app or email. The tickets are not there. We requested a supervisor but there are none available. We requested an email showing confirmation of delivery of the tickets and were told that they do not have a mechanism to perform that? Nearly 500 dollars and we are not eligible for a refund because they have confirmation but can not confirm this with us. I can't believe they are allowed to be in business. Don't do it. Look on the better business bureau website. I wish we had. There are almost 300 negative complaints in this past year alone. Don't risk your hard earned money on this poor $#*! scam of a site! Use Ticketmaster or vivid. I am beside myself!

Update: After over a month, I received a phone number that actually connects with Customer Service. After 2 calls and multiple emails, they gave me a refund accepting their fault for not providing a telephone number that I could call to resolve the issue.

Original: I purchased tickets for the May 2015 Katy Perry concert in Singapore from viagogo. They promptly charged me but but never sent any receipt, confirmation or information on ticket delivery whatsoever. 3 inquiries were sent but I just repeatedly get their useless automated response including a telephone number that doesn't connect either. I ask for a phone number I can call from Singapore and they keep sending me the same automated response with the same information. I smell complete fraud.

Screenshot everything. Don't access from mobile device.

I wanted to sell the security through Viagogo. The ticket was sold and the 48-hour problem reporting period started. After 3-4 hours, I decided to give up the sale and go to the match and I reported it. I did not encounter any warning or problem. And after going to the match, I saw that my account was deducted 540 TL. I did not receive more than ten e-mails to Viagogo.
I'm sorry, why did you make this cut and on what basis?
It says that if I read the penal terms on their websites then a penalty of 20 USD can be applied if the problem is reported and abandoned within 48 hours. But the deduction made by me is 160 USD.
Also I can not find any interlocutors in my face, there is not even an email address on the website.
Please be careful when buying or selling tickets to this company.
I will seek out my legal rights, and I will warn everybody from social media against Viagogo.

I could not get tickets for the annual cancer trust gig in London and was directed online to Viagogo. I purchased 2 tickets which were very expensive but as we had not been to this venue before we thought it going to be worth it.
The tickets arrived 3 days before and to our horror the original ticket face value was £35 and I had paid in excess of £200 for 2. The seats were terrible as we had no view, the night was totally disappointing to say the least.
DO NOT use this company they should all be wearing masks and be shouting "stand and deliver"

I bought tickets and viagogo will not send me the correct tickets. Sent me expired tickets for an event I've never heard of. Now they tell me I can't have a refund, I have to sell my tickets on their site. Expired tickets. If you end up selling tickets and something goes wrong, they charge you the price of the tickets. So by messing up your tickets they can scam you twice. They don't even deserve 1 star rating.

Purchased two tickets for Hans Zimmer which are noted on the order as £49.50 each plus service charge of £6.70 each total price for two should have been £112.40.

They have charged me £77.22 for each ticket, £43.87 booking fee, £5.95 handling fee & £8.77 VAT. Total price for two tickets now £213.03.

This is unforgivable and something should be done to stop this bunch of thieving racketeers.

I don't know why this site is still on line. It's clearly a scam. They don't tell you the exact amount until you have already paid. Prices are crazy high and when you complain, they never answer! SCam site, run away from it!

Do not use viagogo! They just cancel the order days before the event without giving an explanation and they don't even give you the money back, and the customer support is a joke, avoid yourself loads of problems. As a buyer or seller.

This company is not one to be trusted. With the excuse that they are only selling 3rd party tickets, they promise tickets they don't have, charge you the full cost and then when the time arrives for the event you are informed that they are not available, but they provide you with an alternative, that costs almost the same but is in reality, if you had bought this in the beginning it would have costed a third of what they are now charging you. Furthermore, they create problems to return the money to your credit card and never take any responsibilities.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid using this site. They do not deliver what they sell you.

10 months before Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo I ordered tickets, paying extra ($264 pounds). They send an email saying they would send info on how to pick up tickets. I flew to Scotland. They decided to send tickets to our hotel. They were the wrong seats. Original cost for tickets to the tattoo are 49 pounds! After being on the phone several times, they cancelled the tickets they sent me and gave another. Long story longer we ended up in the nosebleed section... 2 rows from the top and nowhere near where I paid for. They are thieves. If I had known that, I would have tried to find a legitimate vendor. Beware. Forewarned.

Never use this site - tickets are probably available elsewhere and probably much cheaper. They con you into thinking that they have just sold similar tickets, which will remain "just sold" for days. They will make you think you are going to lose the seats and tons of people are after them - they want you to click quickly and pay a fortune without thinking about it properly.
Avoid like the plague.

We purchased tickets on viagogo and haven't received them until we made 10 customer care calls.
Customer care kept telling us they'd escalate this.
After speaking with an agent on twitter and shared our screen we haven't received they helped us get it.

Hope viagogo fixes their problems inside their organization.

For now, I am not going back.

Having paid top price at that time Nov 22 2016 for Cliff Richard at Harewood. I received my tickets 2 weeks ago. The seats are so far back even the stage will be barely visible. I received a fob off email from Karen which gives the usual bla bla bla excuses.
Needless to say they will now be off the contact for tickets.
