I used viagogo to purchase tickets without reading any reviews. I then read the reviews here and became very anxious. The e tickets came through but were in Row S instead of Row R as I had ordered. I wasn't worried about being one row behind but the discrepancy worried me in case it was a sign of the tickets being dodgy. I used Live Chat a few times and they were really friendly and reassuring. I was still nervous when I got to the venue but only because of all the negative reviews I had read. As it happened, we sailed through the gates and happily took our seats in Row S.
Not only did I not receive the tickets I purchased, but customer service was not help at all. Live chat is the only option and on several occasions had to wait over 30 minutes for an operator. I was at the event trying to get things straightened out and was told I would receive an email listing replacement options and it never came. I finally the day after got them to agree to a refund, but surprise, surprise it will take 10 business days
Scam beware! I purchased tickets for an event on 1st April for what was presented as very good seats priced £115 for two tickets, then billed in Czech Krona on my credit card. I Immediately contacted viagogo because this looked suspicious to me. I received the tickets around midnight on 2nd April. It turns out the seller didn't have the tickets showed in their possession when I made my purchase. The seller proceeded to purchase the tickets later on in the day on 2nd April (worst and cheapest possible £20/ticket) and sent those to me.
I decided to buy tickets from viagogo for better seats, I could have bought the cheap £20 ones myself directly. Beware of Viagogo scams. The customer services are very unhelpful too. Making no effort to resolve or investigate this scam.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use Viagogo!
They say that these are the last tickets for the event but don't make it clear you are buying 2nd hand tickets.
Completely untrustworthy, ended up buying 2 tickets in a bad section for 105 each and then booking fees came to an additional 80. Every other site only charges 10-20 for booking fees. Ridiculous.
Do not use this website. Paid £160 for an event but other sites charged just over £80. It was my fault for not doing enough research and should have bought my tickets from ticketmaster. Stay as far away as you can from this scandalous website as you can and let others know about this fraudulent business as well
Just received the tickets for the Rammstein Concert in July in Hanover.
When you provide all your information the website is asking for the names, suggesting you get named tickets.
Besides they charge you 6 times the amount of the tickets, which I don't mind. However, the automated answer is that the names are not relevant. Paying a premium is one thing getting screwed is another. I would give 0 stars if possible.
Traveled hours to attend G Dragon in California, US and told tickets were fake. Don't use! I'm sure I will not be able to get money back but I will try and update if necessary but I highly doubt it. When I go to contact them I keep getting message about not having the right password and other excuses.
I purchased one direction tickets in December 2015 and after chasing deliver yesterday I was informed that my seller could not get the tickets to me in time for the concert. Blimey really after having my money all £278 of it for 10 months you are now telling me 6 days before the event I cant have them. I was asked to meet the seller to collect the tickets myself! Really I have to meet some stranger with my 10 year old daughter to collect tickets I purchased last year. Anyway tried to call and email with no luck... an absolute joke and my little girl has been let down... totally gutted!
I sold some tickets online using Viagogo to an event that we could no longer make it to. The event was on a Sunday and they were sold late on the Sunday before. I didn't manage to put them in the post within 24 hours of the sale because I was away and did not have the tickets on me, I was not made aware that I would be fined if they were not in the post within 24 hours. I did post them on the Tuesday though and they were received on the Wednesday, still 4 days before the event. Viagogo charged me £40 for this delay. I messaged them to ask why they did this and received no reply. Won't use again, the fine was completely unnecessary and didn't affect the buyer, it is just a way of making some extra cash out of their customers.
I should have known I was being ripped off when the actual seats were not displayed. The taxes were added in and the tickets are ridiculously expensive but the site is very clever and looks like you are purchasing from an official site. The tickets arrived in another person's name. I have contacted Viagogo but not really expecting customer support. Definitely do not buy from this company! You feel like an idiot!
I recently bought two concert tickets at $125 each, plus $40 booking fee. Nothing suspicious during the online purchase. Throughout the purchase, tbe price was shown in Singapore current. The total cost was about $290. Shortly, I received their email showing the total cost in Israeli current which amount to S$ 560! I contracted the Viagogo, their reply was this is the usual booking fee, and the different in price is because I bought it from another seller who had re-list the tickets at $500+. And I had agreed at that price. I am very sure that throughout the whole online purchase, I don't see anything about the re-listing. And the purchase was, just less than half an hour after the official sale time start! Last but no least, why would an People from Israrel bought a Chinese artist concert? Is definitely a scam.
Spent $933 on morgan wallen tickets to a sold out concert. When we went to the venue and went to scan the tickets they came up invalid! The tickets sent to us were fakes. Talk about embarrassing! We had to scramble to find tickets from another platform. After 2 weeks of arguing over a refund, they claimed they would "escalate" the issue. After another week they claimed they would sent a full refund as long as I had proof from the venue they were denied. Thankfully I had been smart enough to take a picture of the denied screen. I did FINALLY get my refund but it took a long time. The customer service seems kind of shady and I am not sure I would ever trust to buy tickets again from them. I will be avoiding and using Vivid Seats which I know is reliable.

I bought 2 jay Chou Sydney tickets from viagogo. Now I can't go so I hit the relist button and since I bought it from viagogo I thought there won't be any problems. Now they tell me I can list the tickets I bought from them. Face value of these tickets o found out was approx $100aud I paid $514 AUD. I would say this site is poorly managed and is on the verge of being a SCAM! Do not buy from them as you may as well flush your money down the toilet. They don't give a damn about you. They just stop replying like most internet scammers.

Bought tickets from viagogo and they wont let me sell it through them again.
Do not ever use this site for tickets. We bought tickets thru this site for Yanni here in Tucson in good faith. The site indicated best available at that moment within my price range and they were no where near that. I asked several people about 12 rows down my issue and they told me what they paid. I also paid a $15. Fee just to get the tickets... Guaranteed this will not happen again.
I paid over £200 in early April for two Van Morrison tickets. Not only is this way over face value but I have not received them. Viagogo say I was sent them and that I signed for them and only after numerous complaints have they agreed I have not received them but that they were sent to Milan. Despite me asking for courier detail s so I can look into it they refuse to give them. It's impossible to email them direct or speak to anyone on the phone to try and resolve this. Only after I posted a poor review on FB and other sites did I get an email from them saying they have contacted the courier to 're-send them. This was over ten days ago and they have still not arrived. Still no name given of courier and now I'm asking for a refund. Do not use. Read other reviews on them only wish I had.
Hi. I bought ticket for MAMA Mnet Asian Music Award 2015 from viagogo and would like to say very disappointed with the service! Not only the ticket price is more expensive,
After few fuss about the ticket delivery which when I booked they say can send to me in Melbourne Australia and will be there on time before the event which cost me around AU$45. At the end viagogo sent to my hotel in Hong Kong which should cost AU$8 and also quite last minute and risky. I requested for refund for delivery fee and viagogo said that normal handling fee which clearly is not true! I then email again but they choose to ignore me.
I'd say i am very very distressed about this experience and never wanted to deal with viagogo again!
Please improve your service.
Bought a ticket through Viagogo, it was refused by the venue as the original ticket (the 'person' I had bought it from via their site) had used stolen credit card details to purchase the ticket originally, meaning Viagogo are effectively money laundering. Appalling (zero) customer support, and had to purchase another ticket at the venue. Avoid these crooks like the plague: parasitic, gutless worms.
Yes, I have purchased tix to a concert that got cancelled. This was on 4/13. When I spoke to one of the viagogo reps the following day, he assured me I would receive the money back within next 5 business days. 15 days later, no reimbursement. And no way to contact anyone: their phone service only helps customers whose concert is within 72 hours of the call and no one is responding to my email. What is going on?
Order #*******. I ordered tickets for a January 7 football match for my brother's visit. Confirmation emails all stated the January 7 date. Ticket arrived a week after the expected arrival date, during my guest's visit. Event was actually the day before and my brother missed it. Customer service was atrocious. They refused to refund my ticket and said they didn't know why I couldn't "open an envelope"when literally ALL of the information on their website was wrong. Agent was patronizing and condescending. TERRIBLE experience for an expensive and worthless ticket.
Do not trust Viagogo! This company stole $100 for me. When I went to the venue, Pier 17, to see Blondie I was not permitted to enter because Viagogo never sent me the tickets. Total scam-total fraud! I was instructed at the box office call via gogo which I did. I called five times. Each time they said they would send the tickets to my email which they never did. They even said they would call me back in 10 minutes. By the time the concert started I was so upset that when I called and asked for a refund they said they would. I had to go to my bank to get a refund and to dispute the charges.

Do not use Viagogo! It is a major scam. I couldn’t see the concert.

Booked 5 tickets for the Vamps as a treat for our daughter and 2 friends. Only 2 tickets turned up. We were told 2 days before the concert that the other 3 tickets were not available anymore! In total the tickets cost over £209. We were refunded £114 but after a lot of emailing on our part. We were promised a full refund and compensation. This did not happen. We were left with 3 very upset little girls. Still waiting for £99 back which I doubt we will ever see. DONT USE THEM.
I got suckered by the high pressure tactics of ticking down clocks and tickets disappearing, supposedly purchased. I paid $120 more for 2 tickets than the face value, thinking I was on the event's offical ticket sales site. There are still plenty of tickets available for the event. Fro the "real
Official website. Leaves you feeling ripped off and stupid.
It's such a shame other people are having bad experiences with viagogo. I bought a ticket to one direction for less than face value. Ticket was an eticket so I received it straight away (however, I was a bit nervous the ticket was not going to work). However it was all legit, ticket worked and I even saved money. Would definitely recommend! I'll be going to Justin Timberlake soon (with tickets over face value) but that's life sometimes. Hope it all works out!
Deliver tickets to wrong address, which they wrongfully gave to Aramex. Now the tickets got lost in the post. I did not request a refund- they did it themselves. They guarantee tickets but do not deliver. It is their fault or the fault of their 'world class's courier service(their words) and now it is my problem. 'We will refund you '- it is their solution. I want my tickets. They do not even deserve the 1 star.
First of all, this is totally my fault. I should have paid attention. But I had a very busy day the day that the Elton John 2018 tickets went on sale. And I promised my son we were going to attend.
So I get online quickly, end up on the Viagogo site somehow, and buy 2 tickets for $485 total. I receive the tickets - issued in someone else's name - 3 days later. And the price stated on each ticket is $55.
I got charged 4 times the price. FOUR. For seats in the back.
There are No refunds per the company policy.
Had I not been so busy, I could have taken a trip to the venue to buy the tickets. For $55 each.
Now I'm reading the reviews and people are saying they couldn't even get in with Viagogo tickets they had bought!
We're going to the concert in a few days with our rip-off tickets. I hope we can get in.
Tickets booked and paid for in full in November. 6 days prior to event notified by email that tickets are NOT AVAILABLE! At the time of booking the system was telling me how many people were viewing the tickets and counting down the total number available and the seconds remaining to book a ticket. Amazing that this system doesnt seem able to match tickets sold with tickets available. Offered refund but when I select the link it says it is missing! So much for guaranteed tickets! Looks like I will have to pursue a claim via my credit card company. What kind of SCAM is this?
Tip for consumers:
Avoid if at all possible
We bought tickets in October for Hamilton in San Francisco in March ---- $2482. 50. My family was flying in from Portland, Seattle and Tucson. We had to leave and had not received the tickets. I called and called. "Trust me the tickets will be sent to your hotel". This did not happen. Day of the event---no tickets. Two days later the tickets were delivered to Tucson. So far I have not received a refund "the team is working on it". Right! These people lie, cheat and steal. LCSgogo.
