This company does not typically respond to reviews
I used viagogo to purchase tickets without reading any reviews. I then read the reviews here and became very anxious. The e tickets came through but were in Row S instead of Row R as I had ordered. I wasn't worried about being one row behind but the discrepancy worried me in case it was a sign of the tickets being dodgy. I used Live Chat a few times and they were really friendly and reassuring. I was still nervous when I got to the venue but only because of all the negative reviews I had read. As it happened, we sailed through the gates and happily took our seats in Row S.
Not only did I not receive the tickets I purchased, but customer service was not help at all. Live chat is the only option and on several occasions had to wait over 30 minutes for an operator. I was at the event trying to get things straightened out and was told I would receive an email listing replacement options and it never came. I finally the day after got them to agree to a refund, but surprise, surprise it will take 10 business days
I went to the Coldplay concert in Miami to my disbelief I could get in because someone else used my ticket... I paid almost $400 for a ticket and traveled from another country just to watch my favorite band play... I tried to contact them for a refund but there is no way to do it...
This company charged us $363 for tickets to a tennis tournament and never sent the tickets. They have no customer service, merely internet links that lead to nowhere. We are concerned that we gave these crooks our credit card information and may have to cancel our card. We have alerted VISA and they are looking into this.
This is not a legitimate business but a SCAM and they need to be prosecuted.
I had 2 extra tickets for French Open at Roland Garros as my daughter couldn't come to Paris. Put those tickets on sale using Viagogo. One ticket was sold in a matter of minutes and second one in a few hours. There were 2 same tickets bought from French Open official site. I have received an email that everything is fine and I will receive my money in 8 business day. Next day (1 day before the event) I received an email saying that second ticket was not valid and I am not going to receive any money for that and on the top of that because customer suffered damages they are going to fine me with $500 in order to compensate the customer. On the premises of Roland Garros I checked with official ticket service and was told that both of my tickets were used for the given event.
This company is really stealing money from both buyers and sellers. It is pure crime in action and is going unpunished.
The final price of the tickets I bought was much higher than the one initially announced. Apart from this the opera tickets were for standing places, which wasnt clearly stated during the purchase. Dont ever buy from them
Be careful selling your spare tickets on Viagogo, they have (and have used in my case) a loophole in their terms and conditions which allows them to make an arbitrary deduction from your payment WITHOUT consulting you in advance. This was due to an honest mistake on my part in the ticket listing. I was already selling the spare tickets at below cost price and am now nursing even bigger losses.
Tip for consumers:
And remember, whether you are a buyer or seller, Viagogo moved to Switzerland a few years ago to avoid being subject to UK courts in dispute resolution! Whether a buyer or seller, your transactions are not safe and are not protected by UK law. Avoid Viagogo, there are much better and safer UK based ticket reselling websites.
Just purchased 4 tickets to see Neil Diamond in Leeds on 5th October. You have charged me £567.30 in total. Yet when the tickets came the total value is £367.00 even with vat on that is still should have come to £451. So what is the other £116.00 gone?
I place an order to buy Formula 1 tickets for 2023 Monaco Grand Prix. The order indicated Concession tickets: child must be accompanied by an adult. The price of the ticket was 175 Euro which was the price for adult tickets. I placed the order than I had doubts so I read the reviews which further added to my suspicion. I sent an email asking to confirm that the 2 tickets I purchased were in fact adult tickets. A representative for Viagogo called me and confirmed over the phone that they were adult tickets. The next day I got a written response which said nothing of the confirmation but rather referred me back to the text on the order. I wrote again asking for written confirmation and again I got a call now saying the tickets I purchased were children tickets at Adult ticket prices. I will likely have no choice to buy new adult tickets and try to sell these to cut my loses. Please do yourself a favor do not deal with this Company.

spare yourself the trouble look elsewhere to buy the goods or service you require

I ordered two tickets online from what I thought was the box office at the Royal Albert Hall totalling £130. I printed the tickets which read at a face value of £65 each. Three days before the event I received an email charging my debit card a total of £433.93.
I phoned the Albert Hall who said viagogo are not the Royal Albert Hall box office and suggested I order two more tickets@ £65 each, to be collected on the night of the concert. The box office asked me to speak to the manager when I came to collect my new tickets. I contacted viagogo to complain and cancel the transaction. I then blocked my debit card and kept the possibly fake tickets too, and took them to the Royal Albert Hall as evidence. Box office on the night was not very helpful, and would not supply me with a supporting letter re what happened. Not impressed by box office either.
Purchased tickets to a Japan baseball game. Flying from Hawaii to Osaka and tried to print ticket and our order number got rejected. Finally called toll free number and customer service said my tickets were not confirmed and sold to someone else. Meanwhile my credit card was charged. They were NOT able to substitute tickets and sadly we were not able to attend the game.

Stay away from Viagogo!
Bought a ticket through Viagogo to see Cirque du Soleil on Sunday, March 04 2018 19:30 at Royal Albert Hall.
It turned out the tickets were acquired using a stolen credit card and I was denied entry. When contacting Viagogo, they said that they were unable to provide a refund since the tickets were not printed on paper - a conveniently crafted legal loophole for them:(
Please do not do any business with them if you do not want to loose your money!
Bought 2 tickets for miletrey tattoo, price was a certain amount then when i paid with my visa the amount come to 236 which was so much more than what the total was. I tried to get in contact with them but only an automatic reply. Event arrived and true 3 day before tickets did arrive at the hotel under wrong name and the cost was 25 not the amount we paid. Went to the event they said we had FAKE tickets and if we wanted to go in we will have to pay. I finally got in contact with someone and they said they will give me a refund, but what abut the expensive of the flight and hotel! Will never ever buy from them...
All the bad reviews about Viagogo are right. They are a scam, shell of a company. They sell tix which likely never existed in the first place. Any positive review of this site is a lie. This site is horrible, and they won't even refund you the money you paid. I was left without tickets the morning of the show, after having paid for a flight and hotel to London. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Tip for consumers:
AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE. They will not give you any tickets, and you will throw your money away.

Tickets, huge scam
I purchased tickets for a concert at Sherwood Pines which arrived after the concert was over. My emails were returned as not deliveredand phone lines were too busy to take my calls.
I paid virtually double for these tickets.
Do NOT trust this company.

My wife booked special Elton John tickets three years ago, for Covid the concert was cancelled and rescheduled. This is not the problem. A week before our booking the tickets were withdrawn and we offered a rebate. It took many attempts to get the money returned and finally they only returned half. This is genuine statement and would advise people not to use this company
DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I recently bought tickets for the Paris Masters tennis tournament through Viagogo. Never again, for many reasons:
1 Misleading banner in Google results page suggesting Viagogo is the official seller of tickets for the event: IT ISN'T.
2. I was charged 4-5 times face value of ticket even though stadium half empty.
3. Misleading charging process - they quote face value of tickets but don't disclose total cost.
4. Appalling customer service. Lack of responsiveness to emails, inability to contact by phone. I wasn't even sure I'd get into the event after travelling from Scotland to Paris.
Purchased overpriced tickets to Red Hot Chili Peppers, the concert was cancelled a few hours after I placed the order. I immediately requested a refund, but got a response saying that they needed to get information from the promoter first. A month later I requested a refund again, but got a response saying the concert was not cancelled, just postponed, and that I could post the tickets on their site, but could not get a refund. I tried to reason with them several times, but just kept getting the same response. After a month of giving them opportunity to be honest, I finally just called my credit card, and they forced Viagogo to refund the money.
This kind of business should not be tolerated, by any of us! Avoid this business at all costs, and if you get stuck in their loop of lies, just have your credit card take care of it.
We need someone to shut this outfit down having stupidly purchased sport tickets from this site I resold them as I didn't want anything to do with these morally corrupt people and they held onto the money for 3 weeks still haven't got it back - lots of crappy responses to my emails
Who would want to work for these criminals love to join in any site that gets theses people shut down - google do something positive and rid us of this scum
For Picking on the Dead 12/1/23 Dillon Music Hall the tickets are $15 via the venue. This site is charging $31 plus plus, AND they have a thing that says "6 tickets left" which is absolutely false. What a scam!

Bought tickets from this UK based company for a soccer game in Germany, took 15 phone calls before they even shipped the tickets.
Once tickets arrived they weren't the section I paid for and then they gave me the normal drama of those they are a third party seller.
Don't wasted your time with this company hope the die off.
Viagogo sell your imaginary tickets and you will be screwed if you organise travel around it like I did for the Russia World Cup where at the very last minute of my chasing them for weeks they informed me that the tickets aren't available. They were so casual about the fact that I incurred so much coz because of their stupid guarantee that they will get the tickets to me... it is actually a scam and you buy tickets through them at your peril.
Bought tickets for J Kauffmann concert in January, was not notified of cancellation, suffered boats of traveling to Madrid and now struggling to get even the money back.,!
After my first review was published they phoned and confirmed the tickets would be refunded. I just discovered replacement tickets delivered instead to my inbox (I was sure my card account was credited so never checked it then!). I emailed now a question why I still have tickets in my account and if they are valid as viagogo firmly confirmed on the phone refund (after I explained that I couldn't accept the replacement as I am not based in madrid and originally before cancellation of the concert I was supposed to travel there, but since the concert was one year postponed I could no longer plan such a travel and original tickets have full right of redemption) - but even my question was never answered! So I am not sure why I have new tickets in my account for the dates I disagreed with and even if these are valid!
Do not buy from this site! Brought 2 tickets for Adele for £480 and 2 tickets arrive in the post With someone else's name on them with a ticket price of £75! At the time they say only 2 tickets remaining! Having a look at the site now selling them for £85 each. Advise to not buy tickets from this website total fraud and immoral! Disgusting!
DO NOT buy from Viagogo! I had purchased 5 tickets for the Disney on ice event and found out I actually needed 6. They told me to purchase 6 and place the 5 for resale. I did that 3 days before the event but they removed it from the list stating they would not be able to get the e-ticket to the purchaser on time. WTH!
Bought a ticket; face value of EUR 54,90 (according to the ticket itself!). Yet Viagogo charged EUR 75.03 for the ticket alone + another EUR 21.31 for a booking fee + another EUR 12.95 for delivery + tax. All up EUR 113.55 which is more than twice the ticket. What a Joke. If any more concerts come through this place, I will just boycott the event entirely unless I can but the tickets from elsewhere.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid if you can as you will just get ripped off by people who like to hide all their fees until the last moment
This company has probably the worst and most un-transparent customer service ever.
There should be a way of making this company accountable.
They have almost 450$ that they owe me and they have completely disappeared on me and do not reply to any of my emails!
