I used viagogo to purchase tickets without reading any reviews. I then read the reviews here and became very anxious. The e tickets came through but were in Row S instead of Row R as I had ordered. I wasn't worried about being one row behind but the discrepancy worried me in case it was a sign of the tickets being dodgy. I used Live Chat a few times and they were really friendly and reassuring. I was still nervous when I got to the venue but only because of all the negative reviews I had read. As it happened, we sailed through the gates and happily took our seats in Row S.
Not only did I not receive the tickets I purchased, but customer service was not help at all. Live chat is the only option and on several occasions had to wait over 30 minutes for an operator. I was at the event trying to get things straightened out and was told I would receive an email listing replacement options and it never came. I finally the day after got them to agree to a refund, but surprise, surprise it will take 10 business days
They hid the true cost of tickets until the final/payment screen. Their booking platform malfunctioned and confirmed my purchase without me pressing the confirmation button. They use a pressure selling strategy by using a timer on your purchase activity. The reject any point the customer raises and refuse to reimburse - relying on the fine print of their T&Cs. Dont touch them with a barge pole!
Viagogo is a fraud, robbers, should be banned. I bought a Harry Styles ticket. Sold it. The buyer went to the concert and Viagogo kept the 140€ from her and 212€ from me. Not bad when the ticket bought at the proper place cost 98€. They made a very good deal. I paid 212€ to NOT go. Did everything through THEIR website and they can only tell me after I forwarded all the emails, about 28 between them and me, that they do not have enough information. Incompetent, unhelpful and dumb girls at the other end of the line. Never again. STAY AWAY FROM VIAGOGO!

Springbok Rugby Tickets advertised as best seats and limited availability - (no seat numbers provided). Computiket site was offline during weekend. Price advertised at third of price I paid via credit card. When tickets arrived it was the worst possible seats worth nothing! No refunds and cancellations. Will never buy anything via this site again.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site
Bought 2 tickets for Jeff Dunham Show, row A. I knew the tickets would be slightly overcharged since it is a front row ticket and bought from a secondary party. Then I received the tickets by post and saw the actual price... £35 each ( I paid £200 each). That can't be considered as slightly overcharged, at all!
Now I know I made a mistake and it won't happen again.
Avoid viagogo!
If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. The only way to find out the final price with their added fees (which is financial rape! 50+ dollar fees PER ticket!) is to put all your credit card info in. Fine. I put my card in. When I saw the final price, I quickly exited out to find another site. Viagogo sent my ticket purchase through anyway, without my confirmation permission. I received the tickets in the mail without any knowledge. I looked in my bank account and the money had been taken out! I emailed viagogo and they said I could try and resell them, but they would not do Anything.
Bought tickets for a concert. Obviously high resell price, but they don't tell you about about the near 50% additional service cost they add to the purchase price. You'll know when have pressed the purchase button and when it is too late to regret. Furious!
Scam warning! They have tricked us to purchase 2-normal session ticket of $30 with price of $300. This is a scamming business and should be reported! They even trick paypal so that when you try to claim a refund, they request you to send the digital-online e-ticket Physically back to their office for refund!?!?!?!?
I wish I would have read the reviews before wasting nearly £800 yes £800 on 3 tickets to see Coldplay. My fault I didn't realise the high booking fees until I had paid. Please please beware and do not make the same mistake I did
Bought tickets to 21 Pilots for my son and girlfriend. Thought this was the site to buy them from. Ended up costing me nearly double the price took a long time to send (months) thought we were not getting them. Today I compared some tickets I bought for "walk off the earth" already they have them double the price and they have not even sold out. I would not buy from them ripping people off. I struggled with giving them one star.
No service at all. No hotline, no chance to get someone on the phone or get a call back ( requested several times- no reaction). Basic standard answers on specific client requests. Treat clients in a v bad way. Cant recommend selling tickets via vigogo
I purchased tickets for the Big Bash - they cost me $95/ticket on printed ticket these tickets were $40! Plus they charged me a fee of $40+. Not having done this before I bought the tickets. Over priced! I want my money back!
Was shown to pay $230, charged $65 processing fee after the fact... didn't authorize that at all. On top of that... print the tickets, show up at the concert and told they were FAKE tickets! Have to dispute with my credit card company because their customer service not only was completely useless they lied! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Baited by - I imagine - false "5 tickets left" messages that seemed to go back up to 10 tickets left later on. Over priced for basic tickets and prices quoted without VAT. Shame on Google for letting them occupy the top spot on the page and shame on whoever runs the company and takes money from the public for a scam. Completely misled as to what was being sold. If only I'd had more time to look, but was in a hurry and thought that the 9:00 deadline fro presales was for VIP tickets, and the elevated price was because of the extras that these involve. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. There are still "9 tickets left" 98 hours later. Go figure.
I thought I was buying 2 tickets for the Eagles Concert. Instead, the tickets were for a symphony orchestra playing Eagles songs! Their ad had The Eagles written in large print with the orchestra in very small print. The price was listed at $124 per ticket, and then at checkout the price for the two tickets was $600-with their clock ticking down, I was tricked into thinking I could lose out on this "great deal". The face value of these tickets is $45 each, and there are hundreds left at the actual venue. The site claimed that these were the last two tickets- now, of course, they will NOT refund my $600. I am extremely upset about their scam.
We tried to book tickets for an opera in Sicily. We had not encountered Viagogo before so we assumed that we were on the official website. Viagogo told us that there were only five tickets left for the event (we are a family of five), and that the cheapest remaining tickets were at 95 euros each! Luckily we decided to double check, and with another google found the actual official website which had loads of tickets left at 35 euros each. How can it be legal for a company to try so clearly to swindle customers out of their money! Avoid like the plague.
Viagogo!
What a night mare. Still waiting for them to confirm my purchase owing to them sending everything to a wrong email address? This purchase is now 2 Months old and I have emailed them several times a week with no response.
I bought 6 Sa/Ireland tickets for the rugby on the day they were released at a "special" price over 1,000 each tickets were sent and I saw the face value was 600. The tickets also had a name on all of them, and the cover letter said they were valid and no I'd would be needed. Now these were sent by email what happens if the named person with id turns up? I have been in correspondence with viagogo about the price and was told"read the small print" and there would be now problem with seats and the seller only got his money after the event, have copies of emails but what happens if there is a problem on day. To add insult to injury recently I checked computicket and yes 6 consecutive tickets in the area I wanted available at 600 each. Will I use them again? Think not.
I booked to see take that last Tuesday which was postponed was sent an email on Wednesday to inform me the new date was this Friday. I live on the Isle of Man so can't afford to pay out again to get to Liverpool. Told them my situation but they told me I can't have a refund great customer service not!
Purchased same day event tickets per site was guaranteed that e-tickets could be obtained in time for event. The financial transaction happened instantly and then no tickets. No responses from customer support, no actual phone number to call and bogus information all over. I was rushed and didn't investigate before purchasing - then I reported my tickets didn't come due to making you wait till after event and I get a canned response about allowing them to investigate and not to report to my bank - TOTAL SCAM!
I purchased ticket for the flower show, 2 days before the date with hotel and trains booked and paid for, they emailed me to say the ticket was no longer available and would refund me however, they were still selling the same tickets at a higher price but would not give me them at the same price, which by the way was £250 above face value. This company are cheating people through their "terms and conditions" where one ticks a box and agrees to they canceling your ticket and refunding you because they can sell at a higher price. The robot of a person on the line had no care, consideration or empathy. Our retirement weekend was ruined.
Paid $245.83 for 2 chevelle tickets. When the ticket says they are $28.00 a piece. Never buying of this website again! Very upset and disipointed. Front toe tickets were $35 while we paid $245 and are sitting in the back.
Daylight robbery - I purchased tickets for The Cure in Hyde Park, they told me they were the last 2 tickets available, there was a 'countdown clock' on the website; all absolute bollocks of course... The tickets were massively upsold by this site but it was very misleading, didn't realise normally-priced tickets were still available so ended up paying £270 for 2 tickets when I could have got them for £140. I hate this website with a passion - they are evil and greedy!
I bought Coldplay ticket several months before in Copenhagen and travel so far abroad to watch the concert. When i wanted to enter the concert, the barcode pf my ticket already use with someone else, which is my ticket is Fake! I tried to email them but no response at all. I bought the ticket for $239, triple than price normal.
This website so FAKE! Never use them again..
If there were negative stars, that is what I would give Viagogo. They allowed a seller to advertise his tickets as "ROW 1" of GA Floor. I purchased these for my friend who recently had her leg amputated so that she could sit or stand and still see the concert. I was hopeful she could have a good experience at Billy Strings. However, all the tickets I received were General Admission. I attempted to explain this to Viagogo several times but always received automated letters that indicated NO one was understanding or looking at the items I sent them. Sadly, I was scammed by their seller. And they did nothing to help resolve the issue other than encourage the seller to transfer the tickets which were falsely advertised on Viagogo's site, and sold for a PREMIUM. My friend never got to go to the concert.
Bought premium tickets months before the show and only after multiple emails did they send the cheapest tickets on the market and not the premium tickets we had ordered. These were only a fraction of the price we paid. Basically they will tell you anything to get your money and then hide behind the no refunds policy.
Tip for consumers:
Never use them, you will loose money
