I used viagogo to purchase tickets without reading any reviews. I then read the reviews here and became very anxious. The e tickets came through but were in Row S instead of Row R as I had ordered. I wasn't worried about being one row behind but the discrepancy worried me in case it was a sign of the tickets being dodgy. I used Live Chat a few times and they were really friendly and reassuring. I was still nervous when I got to the venue but only because of all the negative reviews I had read. As it happened, we sailed through the gates and happily took our seats in Row S.
Not only did I not receive the tickets I purchased, but customer service was not help at all. Live chat is the only option and on several occasions had to wait over 30 minutes for an operator. I was at the event trying to get things straightened out and was told I would receive an email listing replacement options and it never came. I finally the day after got them to agree to a refund, but surprise, surprise it will take 10 business days
Hello,
On 23 june 2016 i selled tickets for Wales vs Belgium - Quarter Finals - UEFA Euro 2016. Since they couldn' t print label i had to send tickets on my money and costs 56 euro which they confirmed in written form will refund to me. Since then 3 months has passed and i did not see my money back! They are fraud and liars, i have sent countless emails and spoke to them many times but nothing happened.
2 days back they took 40 euro from my account i don t know why. I have to find out it s incredible. But they don't answer any mail or call anymore. Please advice.
Please stay away from them.
Regards,
Gabriel.
Booked a ticket to Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival in Bali from Viagogo as the event's 'official partner for international ticket sales' and got slugged IDR300,000 (approx AUD30.00) in booking fees! And that's on top of the 'delivery charge' of nearly $7 even though tickets are PDF, not posted. There was no advice at any point through the booking process about these charges, and I was being rushed through the process with false pop up threats of messages such as 'hurry, only 1 ticket left!' and '37 people are currently viewing these tickets!'.
Use any other booking agent available!
I sold a ticket for a concert, but they cancelled my sale after I sent the ticket. They cancelled the sale because their system did not recognise the tracking number the courier company (that I sent the ticket with) gave me. The seller was charged for the sale, the ticket arrived on time, but they seem to have "forgotten" to pay me. (I found out these details after contacting the seller myself.) Their cuatomer service is a sad joke. Contacting them via their help centre gives you no result, since the only answer they give you is to be patient and wait while they find a suitable solution for your problem. Over the telephone, I cannot get past the robot so I can speak to an actual human being. It has been three months since my sale, and I still didn't get payed. There is no nice way to say this: they basically STOLE from me.
This website is a scam. The service charge was more than a third the cost of the ticket - and the ticket price was also inflated! A friend got the same exact (general admission) concert tickets for $85 - I paid over $200. When I inquired, they claim that various sellers of tickets charge whatever they want over their site, so there is no oversight or concern for people purchasing tickets. The also falsely bait you by saying there are only a few tickets left!
This is basically a ticket scalping website. Wise advice would be to stay away from this organization! You're literally better off showing up at the venue on the night of the show and buying them from a street scalper. Unethical, untrustworthy organization - and after reading some of these other reviews, it was my bad to buy tickets through them. I will NEVER make that mistake again.
The Real Madrid Vs. Barcelona match in Nivember swichted dates. I've E mailed on 3 separate occasions > 2 weeks ago and I've gotten no response. I have $4000 invested in these tickets and there's no way to contact anything or anyone?
Rip Off - I purchased tickets for Barcelona game on August 2016 ($770), but after payment it had date for April 2017. I contacted them and I told them it was a wrong advertising. They do not want to take the responsaiabikity and asked me to resale tbe ticket through them. They do not want to refund. It is a rip off. They are not trustworthy. As soon as you pay, yiu can assume your money is gone. No support for any false /incorrect tickets.
I purchased 2. Daniel o'donnell tickets as a special surprise for our 40th wedding anniversary. The only surprise I got was the two tickets for £154 cost me £426! Until you pay you do not know that the tickets are actually £154, each, there is a £90 booking fee and then £10 for postage. The tickets have a face value of £60 each! How they get away with robbing and deceiving people is unbelievable. I am going to write to Rip Off Britain an English consumer programme. I hope nobody uses viagogo ever again they are con merchants.
I spent $800 on 4 tickets to the Foo Fighters at Safeco Field, thinking I would splurge for my dads birthday. I selected "seats" close to the stage based on the Viagogo seating chart. They were 4 specific seats together about 5 rows back. I am 8 months pregnant and my father who I bought the tickets for has bad knees, so we both require a chair, neither of us can stand through a whole show at this time. When we arrived the entire area was standing only, despite that our tickets said section 7 row 5 and had specific seat numbers. There wasn't a chair in sight. The worst part is that I paid more for "seats" closer to the stage than the "seats" in the same section that were a little farther back. We spent the first half of the show walking all around the stadium (a very pregnant lady, and a man with bad knees) trying to track down a Safeco employee who could help find us some chairs. I totally got scammed by Viagogo and would not recommend them to anyone.
Hi everyone sorry not a review just need some advice as i'm extremely worried. I purchased two Justin Bieber tickets for 2017 in Australia of my credit card. For starters they added a $99,50 booking fee which I wasn't happy about. And I've been waiting doesn't tickets to arrive as I payed for postage etc. I've recently received an email saying they've turned into "e tickets" and i'm able to print them off. When I click to down load them it says on the email I should have to sign in. There is no sign in anywhere and when I click down load it comes up with a ticket with a random name on it I've emailed them plenty of times and am just receiving automatic emails back which isn't helping at all. I just need some advice on has anyone else has this problem? If so how did they fix it... is viagogo a scam? I spend almost $500 for two Justin Bieber tickets and don't want to loose that much money on a scam.
Thanks guys. :)
I've been waiting whole week my ticket to football match Rome-Juventus.
Now ticket is sent back to seller...
They say that my address was not correct.
Address was correct and I repeat this: I put address label with my surname outside of door and on ringbell to ring inside. I put address inside on the mailbox and then into the door.
What else I should have done. To catch a delivery man and yell: look here it is, look!
This is ridiculous way of selling tickets... maybe there was no ticket at all. There's no straight contact between seller and receiver. Only slow system via ViaGOGO. They ask in 48 hours when over 3 days to happening and in 24 hours when under 3 days to happening. I write back and there's answer which is sort of routine answer. And that goes without knowing what is happening. Slow, slow, slow. Time goes out and now ticket is sent back to seller. Or was there any ticket at all?!
Why not straight answer-question chat between people. You fool people. Avoid ViaGOGO!
I just realise Viagogo have ripped me off to the tune of about $200 AUS for two tickets to a Bill Bailey concert in Canberra Australia. I could have bought the same two tickets via Ticketek Australia for a cheaper price and a much, much lower service fee. They whacked me with a $55 'service fee' for each ticket plus a $7 delivery fee per ticket.
I've can only sell (not redeem) the tickets. I've asked them how they can justify this pricing? I don't expect an answer. Avoid them if possible.
Sure. Order tickets here that you never receive. If the Concert is put off to a new date ( like mine was) good luck. No refund. They won't refund you. Not only that but they expect you to accept the new date of the new venue / concert. What a joke. I am out over $800. I am currently consulting with my family of attornys of which some are international. I want my money back.
I ordered and paid £466 for 6 tickets to Ariana Gig for this May... i Ordered seats for top tier, right at the side of the stage... Viagogo took my money no problems... and sent me tickets for right at the back of the Arena. 4 very unhappy 12 years old, i got the tickets for my daughters birthday. I emailed Costumer Support, they haven't even replied and this is nearly 2 weeks ago. Shame on you Viagogo you are the lowest of the low, you need closing down. Daylight robbery
I posted tickets for sale for the Andrea Bochelli concert. They sold. Then a week before the event I get an Email from Viagogo that there was an issue with the buyer and the transaction was cancelled.
I decided then to go to Italy. And guess what. My tickets had ready been picked up. By the very same people that bought the tickets...
So never ever sell anything there.
We recently purchased four tickets for a concert in Shipshewana, Indiana. The e-mail from the company stated that we would be notified where our seats were located a week before the concert. The afternoon before the concert we had not heard anything, so we wrote an email requesting information. A phone call to the venue where the concert was being held informed us that we were not yet in their system and that we had paid double what our tickets were worth. Finally the theatre manager located our seats, but they were in someone else's name. This experience taught us to purchase tickets only from well known, reputable ticket brokers.
Me and my friend had a the confirmed tickets and were not allowed to enter the stadium initially as the tickets were claimed to to be invalid by the gate staff. Later we had to speak with another person sitting at the box office who let us entry. Surprisingly they were unheard about viagogo.
Bought my brother, a long-time Beatles fan, a ticket to the Paul McCartney concert this past weekend. Great seat on the floor in front of stage, a few rows back. Best part was I paid $112 for the ticket and was suprised to learn it was a $251 ticket! My brother raved about the 3-hour show and how great the seat was.
Quite happy to sell you very over priced tickets but won't help when things go wrong. Do not use them. All they do is acquire tickets from individuals and re sell them at a Hugh markup. We're quite happy not to help and just send a condescending email not even apologising
Purchased Madonna ticket concern on 8th Jan thru Viagogo value at 488 for standing pen A. As its not a direct ticket seller for the event, understandable there will be nominal fee. But to my horror I was charged 2.5 times then the actual value. Big F pissed off... wrote and got a reply "... it's a market where the value is shown clearly " BULL$#*!! Can't believe it after the booking, bank clearance payment, ticket can only be seen and download after 4 days. Only there and then I found out I totally got scammed.
This company scammed me by selling me tickets that were at a very inflated price. I got to the venue and found out the tickets cost $18 and they sold me tickets for $235 for two tickets. They used language that was untrue and misleading about the venue and claimed the concert was almost sold out, flat out lying. Do not support this company, there are other ways to buy tickets.
Bought tickets (at high cost) on Viagogo for a concert that was rescheduled for a date we couldn't make. Tried to re-list tickets on Viagogo site to be told that they wouldn't accept the tickets that they had sold us i. E. tickets were fake and the transaction was fraudulent. Now trying to get our money back - every mail gets a standard automated response but no action taken, phone calls put on hold for hours while they "investigate" and promise to call back and never do. Do not trust this company, they take your money and run. Terrible terrible service, will never ever use them again.
Tip for consumers:
Never use them!
I purchased 2 tickets for Rod Stewart in Ireland. Concert date June 2016, I purchased tickets November 2015, I wanted great seats in a covered area, and was charged 826 euros for the tickets. Expensive? Yes but a special treat for my wife. The tickets arrived, face value 96 euros each, and the position in the farthest away part of the stadium from the stage. I revisited their site recently to find that I can now buy 2 tickets in the same covered area for 290 euros in total. Viagogo state that the prices have gone down for this concert,
I surprised my little brother with platnium tickets to the Bledisloe cup in Sydney tonight, for his Birthday; he was so excited!
Then i get a call from the stadium to say the ticket was fake! And that there had been over 100 people also denied entry left standing outside with tickets purchased off Viagogo.
My brother was crushed!
I ended up re booking just in time with Ticketek, But i am so angry. VIAGOGO you low lifes! Thanks for nearly spoiling his night!
ABSOLUTE SCAAAM! Do not order tickets from this company! I am a past employee I worked here absolute ridiculous company they have no guarantee as they claim because barely anybody gets their tickets in time, 99.9% of people calling the company are asking where are their tickets the event could be in seven hours! We are told as customer agents by managers to basically lie to the customers reassure them the tickets will be with them shortly and nobody knows where the tickets are! All built on lies and not to panic the customer just a joke people have lost out on big money do not order on this
I read the bad reviews that talk about scams and poor service AFTER I had purchased my tickets and I was honestly scared to death. However, the MonstaX concert tickets that were only $18 got us in perfectly fine! The service was prompt, the given seats were good and the concert was amazing! There were other amazing deals on the website as well so it's hard to fault Viagogo at this point. I will definitely be ordering some more tickets from there :)
