I saw an ad that said watch movies for free! Its only the app thats free! They want your credit card info! For what if its free?

It's been great, I buy the digital copy and blu-ray combo pack whenever I get a new movie and it's great. It hasn't failed me yet!
Stole my money redeem codes never work and you have to cancle your card because its nearly impossible to cancel my account... All in all it sucks

Showed a movie for rent on the LG Content Store that was for purchase only. Signed up for Vudu to find out this was wrong.

Bought movies will not stream. Too busy? Network errors. All others sites stream fine. Will stick with Netflicks and Prime.

With all the 1080p titles available, I seldom watch movies from any other site. Cost is average, and delivery has always been excellent.
I cant believe this company is in business... streaming movies from them is HORRIBLE! I bought these movies so I deserve better... MUCH better
I had 48 movies downloaded on vudu last night I went to watch a movie and I only had 17 what the hell happened to all my others that I had.
To start off - I purchased a theatrical edition of a movie while it was on sale. Immediately after purchasing it, I realized that the Special Edition of the movie was also on sale for the same price. I immediately emailed Vudu asking if I could trade versions of the movie. I received an auto-response saying my request had been received and would be escalated. Three weeks and two follow-up emails later, I have received no further response. I finally took to the phone. I tried calling yesterday, and after an hour on hold, opted to have them call me back when a rep was available. No calls came and there is nothing on my caller ID stating that they tried to call me. I called again today. After 55 minutes, got ahold of "Hector." Explained the situation and that I was frustrated with the lack of email response. Was told that it was my fault, I should have called immediately (What?). He told me he could not exchange the title, but he could let me buy the special edition and then he would credit me for the first version I had purchased. I explained that that was fine, but the movie was now $13.99 instead of the $7.99 it was when it was on sale. So he offered to let me buy the new movie and he would give me a $5 credit. I asked why it couldn't be a $13.99 credit, and he said he couldn't do that. When I said that that was poor customer service, he told me, "now that you have said that, I won't give you any credit." I asked him if he was telling me that I was screwed, and he said, "yes, I am. Exactly. Screw you." I asked him if he was serious, and he said, "Yes, I am. Screw you. I'm not doing anything for you."
I have been a Vudu customer for over 10 years (first with Fandango). I have spent literally HUNDREDS of dollars purchasing movies, and this customer service is one of the WORST I have EVER gotten from a company. Three weeks and no response to emails - hours to get ahold of a rep, and then "Screw You" is their form of resolution. Shame on you, Vudu. SHAME!
I'm surprised that Vudu has such a low rating average that's why you can't always believe any review before seeing for yourself.
First of all out of the countless apps for streaming movies/TV shows I find Vudu has one of the best picture and sound qualities out of any of them that I've tried hands down. Not only is it HD Vudu has a much better picture with their HDX format that they came up with which in my opinion is as close to Ultra HD or 4K as I've seen that isn't actually 4K, also they do have the capability of streaming 4K if you have the proper equipment like for instance Xbox One S has 4K and the Vudu app does stream 4k on the Xbox One S. I have a 4K Vizio TV and stream most of my TV watching thru Vizio's Smartcast, which has mostly apps with Chromecast... amyway with Vudu which I originally started using because any blu-Ray I buy that includes a Digital HD copy can very easily be added to my Vudu account (app) and than I can stream my movies/Shows thru the app via my Samsung S7 EDGE or Xbox One.
I have the proper high speed internet which you need to stream anything in high quality and alot of apps work well this way especially Vudu it looks and sounds great and I never have any problems with it buffering too much or buffering at all.
I highly recommend Vudu personally... its Great!
Answer: I would just stay away from vudu altogether. They are the worst company I have ever interacted with. I spent a lot of money on videos with them and I cannot watch any of them because the just buffer literally every 5 seconds and then I downloaded them through vudu to go and they won't play on there either. I keep getting a message that vudu cannot authenticate my account. I e-mailed customer services 3 times and have never received a response. I have wasted about $1000. 00 on movies that I cannot watch. I have started using amazon prime video and other sites as well and have no problems whatsoever. Just stay away from vudu they are just taking your money.
Answer: I have had nothing but problems with vudu. My opinion is just stay away and use another company. They are the worst. You will waste your money.
