I purchased "white", "satin" porcelain tiles, as they were advertised. I assumed they were smooth. They sent "slightly beige", "matte" tiles that had a rough, grainy texture (not smooth). Nothing was said that they were rough texture; I wouldn't have purchased. The other two qualities were NOT as advertised. I was not able to use them. They did kindly accept a return, but I had to pay for the return shipping cost. If a product is not as advertised, that is the responsibility of the seller, and they should pay for return shipping, since they did not provide what was ordered and what was described/advertised.
Order a dresser for a Christmas g gift. They just opened the box because it was a Christmas present and wanted to put it together I was totally scammed! Only an heavy board. And yes, it's been more than 30 days, but this is not right!
I purchased items and had to even let wayfair know that they shipped and I received. I received the wrong items not even what I ordered. I have been over a week trying to return items with no luck. I have filed a claim with my credit card company to dispute charges. When you call you can't be transferred to anybody that can help yopu and they tell you resolution center will get back with you within 2-3 business days. This process has gone on for over a week. I will never purchase from this company again.
I wll never buy from this corrupt company ever again. They created 2 listings for the EXACT SAME couch I bought, with two different prices. So I happened to buy the more expensive one and then saw that there was a listing that was cheaper and when I contacted them to get a refund for the price difference they said they dont price match even on their own products even though they confirmed that it's the same couch. $80 difference. And their customer service made it clear that this company has no morals or ethics of any kind and are just trying to rip people off and get profit.
I would give ZERO stars if I could!
I purchased a sectional from Wayfair and 1 of the items listed as "open box". On the Wayfair page they state they "closely inspect all open box items for accuracy". When we opened the item, it was the wrong component AND was missing parts (bottom cushion). We contacted the customer service department, and they wanted us to take a discount (on the wrong piece) and I quote "just go get a cushion made". When I told them that this was not a satisfactory solution, they sold me another "open box" item. When it was received it was ALSO missing the cushion! So, we ordered again……AGAIN it was missing cushion. Instead of simply sending out the correct cushion. I was forced to order piece again at DOUBLE the price…to get the cushion needed! Each time they simply wrote the piece off! Now I have 2 pieces of furniture I have to dispose of! An additional note, I signed up as a business (these units were for my reception area). The customer service of the business representative they assigned to me was HORRIBLE! I will not be ordering ANYTHING from this company ever again!
I purchased a cultured marble vanity top from Wayfair that was made in Vietnam. When I uncrated the unit, 2 of 4 corners were chipped, and there was also a large crack. Wayfair was very good about replacing it. When I received the replacement top, there was a small, hardly noticeable crack by the sink cutout. The unit came with a backsplash. The replacement unit backsplash was broken into 3 pieces. I was fortunate enough that the 1st units backsplash was in good shape. The broken one wasn't cut clean on the bottom side so it wouldn't sit flat. One end of the broken one also wasn't cut square on the end. Between the two tops I was able to have a decent vanity top. I received 2 vanity tops and both were damaged. Beware if you purchase a cultured marble vanity top that is made in Vietnam.
Doesn't let you return the product for free. Can't believe it such a scam company, Don't ever buy from here. They never told us that in the first place
On February 11, I purchased a deck for my son, and he was so excited about it. We even bought additional items to complete his setup — a curved monitor, microphone, webcam, gaming PC, and a chair — all of which cost us a lot of money. We waited patiently, but after the estimated delivery date passed with no updates or movement on the order, I reached out to customer service. They told me they had emailed the warehouse three times, and on the fourth attempt, they replaced the order. This entire process took almost two months. At no point was I offered a refund until I asked to speak with a manager. I finally spoke with Cristina, who offered a refund — but only after two months had passed. When I asked what the issue was, she gave me a vague response, saying the supplier may not have the item available. So why is it still listed on the website for others to purchase? She had no answer. To me, this feels like a scammy way of doing business — taking customers' money for items that may not even be available, delaying endlessly, and refunding only after a long, frustrating process. I paid using a new credit reward plan, so not only did I lose time and energy, but also $300 in rewards — all for nothing. And the worst part is having to tell my son that he's not getting the deck he was so excited for. I wish I lived 40 years ago when online shopping didn't exist — you could just walk into a store, buy something, and take it home the same day. This experience was stressful, disappointing, and costly. I would strongly warn others against buying from Wayfair unless they want to deal with uncertainty, poor communication, and potentially lose out like I did.
They sold us a chandelier that broke in 3 months. Thus came straight from China and now I see other reviews about how bad the quality is. Customer service promised to refund our money but was dishonest and did not.
But from a reputable place not Wayfair.
Bought a modular corner sofa for my mother. Ordered Sep 20th, delivered Oct 3rd, but one module was missing legs and connectors. OK, so customer service set up a delivery of the missing parts. These spent several days knocking around in Germany before being "returned to sender". No idea why. Asked for them to be resent. Same again. So, asked for a replacement module, but instead the whole sofa (6 units) was reordered. Asked customer service to alert the couriers that Mum only needed the "hardware pack" not a whole new sofa. But this morning they would not fulfil this request and have returned the entire shebang. My mother is 90, and last month fell over and broke her leg, quite possibly losing consciousness because of all the stress this has caused. I have spent literally hours on the phone, emailing, texting etc. to no avail. No calls back when promised, no sensible answers to emails. So now it's time to refer to higher complaints body. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
Please, please avoid this company! I have ordered an item, November 29th and still have not received it! When I called regarding it, I was informed that an investigation will be done and the turn around time will be December 13th. This is unacceptable! I would have not known that if I didn't call to check on my item! I requested a refund. Allegedly the refund will be in my account 3 to 5 business days. We'll see. In the meantime, please alert your family and friends to steer clear from this establishment!
Do not buy ANYTHING from wayfair! I purchased a recliner (order # *******709) on Christmas Eve. I received a tracking # from the automated chat system yesterday per tracking the label was created on Christmas Day at 3am with no movement since. I reached out and talked to multiple reps one rep purposely disconnected the call one rep told me they "can see" that FedEx picked up the recliner another rep told me they would have to do a 10 day investigation to see where the recliner is. Now that a supervisor is involved she's stating they gotta reach out to the warehouse to make sure they not shipping the recliner. If there hasn't been any movement in 2 weeks why do she think the recliner is going to all of a sudden leave the warehouse! Then I told the supervisor I'm going to dispute the charge with my bank at this point I want a refund this lady had the nerves to say they will place a hold on my wayfair account if I decide to LADY I DONT CARE IM NOT ORDERING NOTHING ELSE FROM THIS HORRIBLE SITE!
…… so here I am. WARNING YOU ABOUT THIS COMPANY. One out of 40 reviews in the last year was positive. When judging a company by its rating, here, just subtract one to get the proper rating (out of four). Wayfair comes in with a whopping.2 out of 4. Nothing good about this company, including their ads on TV WHICH ARE JUST FLUFF TO GET INTO YOUR WALLET.
That was a horrible experience. They do not let us know in advance that is a third party delivery company. Fedex set a delivery date to Sunday I leave in a condo and as like most condo cannot deliver on weekend, Wayfair told me that I had to deal direct with them and gave me a number. That number did not give me an option to reschedule or to speak with/a human being. When I called the next day my bed was already in the truck and would be delivered in that day nobody told me and of course did not have anyone at home and they left the huge package downstairs and I have to bring up to my apt myself. They set up the assembly for the next Monday. Nobody should up and I missed a day of work. I had to call them to find out what happened and set another date.
Wayfair is okay to purchase small items but never a big items like furniture. They are NOT responsible for anything and they do not care.
I AM SUPPOSED TO GET A REFUND TO MOP AFTER I RETURNED AN ITEM. TALKED WITH HALF A DOZEN DIFFRENT CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE WITH NO SUCCESS FOR 2 MONTHS.TERRIBLE SERVICE
Customer service.was not helpful-rude!
Cheap light weight stools
Wrong Manuel included
Looked like it was a returned item
Not as advertised
They charge for returns
Never ever again will I shop there! Awful experience.
Ordered the Nathan James
Keisha-Marie 27" Counter Stool from Wayfair.
I got something called the Arlo stool not 27 inches?
Stuck with low quality stools.
I will never shop there again…one and done.
In our family, we have purchased several products from Wayfair. Every time we've had an issue with the product. The quality is cheap and most likely unusable. If they had decent customer service and return policies, then at least we could get a refund for junk. But we can't. And I can't even review the product on my account page, which should be illegal. I do not recommend this company. With Amazon and other companies, they will allow returns or refunds, even months after the return date has expired, if their product is not good. Wayfair is not that way. Don't waste your money using them. Or your time.
Horrible, horrible, horrible! We purchased (3) poker tables from IDS Online Poker tables thru Wayfair. We did not know until after paying it would take over 3 weeks to receive. Upon receipt and unpacking over 27 boxes (totally frustrating) we realized NO INSTRUCTIONS or NUTS/BOLTS/TOOLS were included. Things only grew worse from here. They only have an email for you contact them. Wayfair provided 2 telephone numbers, both went to a voicemail during business hours. No response 2 weeks later. This morning Wayfair advises it will take another week 1.5 weeks to ship and another 3 weeks to receive the hardware. We are not even sure if Wayfair provided the correct issues we are having. This is totally ridiculous and extremely poor customer service. We are opening new locations and were referred to ID as we need a 35 new tables for our next location. We had to improvise and purchase tools ourselves as we can not return the tables due to our tourny. But, we will not return to this terrible company. Buyer beware! Wayfair shows it is a last option compared to their competitors. They have obvious NO control over their vendors and do VERY LITTLE on the customer's behalf. We will not use again or refer positively. Sending emails at 4am in the morning and taking 24-48 hours to reply with plain emails. Wayfair scheme appears to be like other poorly run companies, get the fees and screw the clients BECAUSE most people DO NOT READ REVIEWS. Wayfair attracts the type of vendors that are poorly rated and we have learned our lesson well. Horrible, horrible, horrible. BTW, we don't need to hear from you Wayfair, we already went through your customer service AND it is horrible! SHame on you, but karma will get you... just like it have other poorly runned, customer service businesses. The word will get out about you. Now I see why Wayfair ranks low.
I ordered first delivery window 7a-7p on a weekday! I work! 2 delivery time 3-7 p. I left work early only to find out WAYFAIR driver ran out of time so I wouldn't get delivered. I rescheduled for Saturday got a window of 9:30-1:30pm driver says he can't find my bldg and he needs to call it in " he's at the corner of my street " refused to turn around! He told the company he didn't feel safe and " I " was rude cussing at him! He was looking for an excuse NOT to deliver! I CANCELLED ENTIRE ORDER! Do Better WAYFAIR!
I am extremely disappointed with Wayfair's customer service. I experienced repeated dishonesty regarding shipping and delivery dates. My order was delayed three times, and despite multiple assurances, it never arrived. On the fourth attempt, they sent a replacement because they couldn't locate the original order, only to later claim it was out of stock. This ordeal cost me additional money, and I am furious with the lack of accountability from Wayfair. If you need items shipped on time, stay far away from this company.
Answer: Allison, Yes, the box that the floor lamp came in did have a picture of the lamp on it. I would ask when you order. I hope this helps. James.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
