I have been buying since, at least, 2017 and never had a bottle that I didn't enjoy! Ordering is easy - although you have to be quick sometimes with some of the promotional offers. Prices seem fair, especially compared to my local sources. Shipping is free on six bottles or more which is a very attractive proposition. Delivery has become more efficient over the years to the point where an order is delivered at times within three days. Great to MD's Eastern Shore. The net result of all this is that I buy much more wine than once planned!
I accidentally placed an order, realized my mistake 2 hours later and contacted wsjwine.com via their chat bubble. They said they would try to cancel it but but the order has already gone to the warehouse and probably it couldn't be stopped. But if it was stopped I'd be charged a $28 restocking fee. Just plain stupid. Of course no phone number available to speak with a human. WSJWINE.COM from now on.
I had never ordered from a wine club before due to subscriptions and pressure. I took a chance and was surprisingly happy! The assortment and variety made me try new things as well as some favorites.
I am an earthy, dry red wine drinker (not a fan of the sweet stuff) and these wines are a fantastic deal, and even more so when purchased on their best promotion (which happens about once every 4-6 weeks). By far some of the best Rioja Crianza and French Malbecs for the price, and free shipping to boot. I've only encountered 1-2 bottles that were not to my liking, and that was due to my oversight of how sweet they were. Really wish they'd bring back the Château Lafleur de Haute-Serre Malbec — a perfect weekday wind that paired with so much.

As someone learning to broaden my wine knowledge and my palate of tastes I enjoy, I have found Wine Insiders to be perfect for my needs. The convenience of shopping from my home in a leisurely manner allows me to read the reviews and descriptions of the wines to decide if this is something new I'd like to try. I vary my shopping each time purchasing from different countries, different wine types and in general selecting a broad cross section to determine what suits my taste. I typically purchase 12 to 15 bottles each time and have them shipped to a local grocery store one mile from my home, living in Arizona it guarantees that my case of wine will not be sitting in excessive heat or have to worry of a "porch pirate" stealing my wine. Each time I buy I select all the bottles I want, I do not order the prepacked cases so I know exactly what I will be receiving. While I have found I do prefer some wines over others (I make a note of that for future purchases) I have yet to receive anything I felt horrible. Received my order and there wasn't one item that I ordered! Dealing with customer service was awful! Eventually decided to ship the wine back on their $ and cancel the order. Will not order again.

I ordered some wine as a birthday gift for a special friend. FEDEX kept delaying the delivery. Finally when It got to my city, fedex damaged the package and broke one of the bottles and returned it to wine insiders. Instead of wine insiders replacing the bottle, they RESHIPPED THE EXACT BOX RIGHT BACK WITH THE BROKEN BOTTLE! After almost 2 weeks of delaying, I finally got the wines and gave it to my friend only to open it and find a broken bottle inside. Very disappointing! Not buying from them again!

I'll preface my complaint by saying that for the last 6 months, I've had no issues with this company and enjoyed all the wine they've shipped.
Unfortunately, I recieved a letter about a week ago stating that I'd be receiving my "bonus" shipment as a "thank you" for being a club member. I was then charged $164.69. Mind you, my regular subscription wasn't due until 12/29. Sent 2 emails over a few days to no response. Then the wine showed up so I contacted them through the live chat option and thankfully got an immediate response. They offered me 40% off and to "push back" my regular subscription until February. How is it a BONUS CASE if you charge me for it, offer a discount so i still end up paying for it, then charging me for my regular subscription at a later date? I feel completely scammed. The verbiage in both letters I got is deceitful and misleading. I took the 40% off the customer service rep offered and cancelled my subscription to avoid being scammed by them in the future. Unfortunate would have remained a loyal customer if they had just kept their "bonus" case to themselves.
I was never a red wine drinker but since we became a member have almost given up white. You wine either red or white has been great! Haven't found a bad one yet.
