Wisecars.com is a broker and had excellent customer support! Also best price on the market. Used them for pick up in Munich for last year's Oktoberfest - no hassle at the supplier desk
I had a fantastic experience renting with Wisecars. Their rates were competitive, and the customer service was excellent.
Found Wisecars through Kayak. The prices were too good to be true but I contacted the customer support and they responded really fast. I hope the pick-up goes as easy as booking did
I did reservation over wise car for six days in Cologne and I did my payment in advance, My flight delayed and passport control took time and I arrived late, service provider told me they cancel my reservation, And they did present me any other option and they took six days payment from me, I think its not fair, they might took maybe one day but not six days, Wise Car has no sanction over service provider
I am leaving this note here because Wise Car is only broker not giving good service
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation, I really like their free cancellation policy. They also quickly transferred the money back to my account.

DO NOT BOOK A CAR WITH THIS "COMPANY" IT THREATENS TO WASTE MONEY AND NERVES
I booked a car for my vacation through Wisecar. My flight was delayed, which I informed Wisecar about, unfortunately, as it turned out Wisecar employee did not inform Europcar about it. When I landed on the spot my reservation was canceled, they would not give me my money back and no one helped me - I was told that there was no car for me and that they would not give me my money back. I had to find my own means of transportation at night in Italy even though I had a car booked and paid for in advance. Scandal. They are thieves and the matter will go to court. I also sent emails to "Ms. CEO" Felicity Travaini, to which she never responded - you know, a fish goes bad from the head. I do not recommend Wisecar company if you do not want to spoil your vacation and lose money. Fatal customer service.
My wife and I flew to Tuscon for a business trip and when I arrived at the rental pickup counter, I noticed I had lost my drivers license. I must have dropped it at our previous layover. They would not accept my photo of the license that I had on my phone, nor would they accept my wife as a second driver, even though she had her license with her. I was then told to call their customer service while I was standing at the counter, so I did. The guy that answered was very rude on the phone and told me they cannot refund me until the rental period was over, and then I would have to call back in. So I called back after the rental period and they refused to refund me because I lost my license on the way there. Then the guy literally hung up on me. Talk about unprofessional! Their only solution was for me to book ANOTHER rental with them for over DOUBLE the price. Are you kidding me? It would have been such a simple solution to add my wife as a driver and let us be on our way. But noooo, let's make it as difficult as humanly possible! Complete scam artists!
Now I'm out almost $400 for a car that I never even saw. Never EVER use this company! Unless you enjoy losing money to crooks.

We would like to clarify that reservations can only be modified up to 48h before the pick-up, meaning that we were not able to change the main driver's name to your wife's anymore when you called us at the counter. You could have added an additional driver at the pick-up, but the issue is that only the main driver can pick up the vehicle.

We only needed to change the drivers name and they would not let us. The driver lost his license and the other adult wanted to drive but they would not allow it and they kept the money!

I booked a car in Maui over Thanksgiving months ahead. After the fires there all the prices had dramatically reduced. I asked Wisecars to cancel so I could rebook something cheaper and they offered instead a much better rate that I could not match elsewhere. I checked this was an all inclusive rate and they confirmed in writing that it was and there was nothing to pay at collection. When I tried to collect the car Thrifty said there was $350 to pay and after we argued for a while they said they would match the quoted price and I collected the car, thinking we were good. Of course when I returned the car Thrifty just billed my credit card $350 and their support team were not interested to help me. I went back to Wisecars and raised a case. I took them 8 weeks to complete it but I got a refund for the over charge. There are plenty of issues with car rental companies and although I could have preferred not to have any issue I am impressed with Wisecars honoring the rate they quoted and will happily book with them in the future.
