I get parcels delivered by Yodel every month or so. A couple of years ago their service was dreadful with parcels (cases of wine) probably stolen at the local hub. However over the last year, a change of regular driver and I have only one slight moan and that is about the Yodel tracker. I get told by the sender when the parcels have left them but the Yodel tracker doesn't show any information until it arrives at the local hub. Then I get an estimated delivery slot but very often it comes the day before. Which is usually okay with me and especially when the tracker shows my local area and the location of the delivery van.
3 parcels returned to sender, one given to a stranger, see photo. Could not find my address, strange when I get deliveries from other couriers and Royal Mail. Their chat bots are useless and no real people to speak to. Leave a bad review and it is answered by AI etc etc etc
YODEL is NOT reliable, I had a order from Amazon and the seller used this company. The order from the tracker arrived but I did not receive the parcel. My partner was at home heard the knock at the door, by the time she arrived the driver was coming up the driveway from rear of house and pointed in direction of the bins. He got into his van drove off. In mean time my partner looked over fence into back yard - no parcel, looked into neighbours yard no parcel, looked in and around the bins no parcel and no parcel at door step. YODEL sent a photo of parcel on door step but no parcel there when my partner went out. Ummm where is the parcel. One simple answer to that is the driver after taking the photo removed the parcel and must have taken it himself - stole it is the only conclusion. So if you want your parcel to be delivered do not use YODEL they employ people with sticky fingers and your parcel may very well never arrive or like me disappear after the photo being taken. When a company employs sticky fingered drivers how honest is the CEO of the company?

Really read the reviews. Mine is honest just be warned your goods may never arrive to their destination. In other reviews a huge amount of people never received their goods by Yodel and Yodel don't give a dam.

Yodel, ' John en mark from yodel, was very pushy and rude, they are telemarketers and that's it, once they had our money we couldn't get in touch with them and there pay per click campaigns are very very very disappointing... They talk the talk but do not walk the walk, STAY AWAY and put your hard earned money into someone else..
DO NOT USE YODEL disgusting service the driver was calling me asking me to go out and find him as he couldn't find the address when I eventually explained how to get to my address I see him dragging my parcel along the street and than refused to bring it to my door because he was to tired and doesn't deliver up the stairs I had to sit there and wait for a friend to come and help me he than walked off swearing I'm can't believe this company

I order a bicycle for a birthday gift of my Son. They was late to deliver but on the day of his birthday I recieved an message that parcel will be arriving that day. I took day off from work to make sure I get the parcel. I was looking at the map where the driver was (probably a mile away from my house) and suddenly got a message " Sorry we have missed you!" I went online to check what is happening and got in their live chat and they try to convince me that I missed my delivery and that the driver left me a calling card! That was a lie as I was looking trough the window at the front door throughout the whole time! It was so disappointing. They ensured me it will delivered next day. When I got the message I got a cup of coffee and I sat in front of my house! I cud see on the map showing the driver was in front of my house (but he was not) then I cud see he was gone far away. This time did not recieve any message nothing. I contact them and they said we are sorry there was issue with your package! What a joke! They now told me they will try again next day.
Please do not use this service go to any other company out there at least you will be able to speak to real person over the phone!
Never again this yodel! It's not the first time I had issues with them but it's the last time now!

Package never arrived although tracking showing delivered! Contacted Yodel via live chat and was told driver had left package and satnav showed van at my address at time of delivery!
Recieved an email from yodel next day confirming package was delivered as stated and again saying tracking of delivery van showed it was at my address,asked for photographic evidence only to be told to download Yodel app and view image,tried a few times but unable to install app,contacted live chat again and asked if they could send image only to be told their system couldn't access it!
Finally got app loaded on my phone but no image showing,back to live chat and this time they could send image,package definately not left at my address but still they are certain it was and suggest I contact sender,why?
Eventually package turns up,kind person who lives at address driver left it at has brought it to me,possibly a 15/20 minute walk away from me,so driver obviously just wanted to get rid of package and was lying when he said he had delivered to me and image was taken at my address
And live chat stating satnav showed van at me was a lie as well? Can imagine this driver is now no longer working for Yodel but somehow I think he will still be and still dumping your package anywhere just to get finished for the day,def not a company you would trust to deliver anything!
Rubbish service, attitude and approach to customer service. Avoid at all costs. Miscommunication and contradiction from their so called customer service team constantly. I will not use Yodel again.
BOYCOTTING THIS COMPANY. I have banned any deliveries to my address from this company cancelled an order today because I realised these jokers were delivering…. All because they have a thieving courier and when you call them about it they don't want to know and put the phone down on you! Remember yodel Hill Crest View BD13! Stolen not 1 but 2 of my neighbours mobile phones. The first one just disappeared then the second (you'd have though very wouldn't send it with yodel again but they DID!) he came straight to a neighbours house with a tampered package with an empty phone box…. Why didn't you try to delivery the the delivery address on the box instead of going straight to a neighbour? And why did you come bk to take another photo dear? Because the first one you could see the sellotape at the back. So it looked like the neighbour did it …. I wonder. Leave parcels thrown in front garden in bad weather don't even try and conceal the parcel. Taking advantage of my vulnerable neighbours I have advised her last night to report you and your dodgy courier to the police…. And that's what she's done.I'll happily take a lie detector to prove I didn't take my neighbours parcel would your courier do the same? Your not going to hear the last of this Yodel you really aren't …….

I used them to send three large parcels: 63 cm x 41 cm x 34 cm - 19 kg - 56 cm x 38 cm x 23 cm - 15 kg and 32 cm x 32 cm x 32 cm - 9 kg. Well... they lost all of them. After a month of trying to understand what was going on through the customer service (the chat on their site) I had six different versions, from the parcels are on their way (Where?), to they have been given to ASENDIA, to confirming they were in the country of destination (but not delivered yet) and today they actually said that the parcels had been delivered. This is outrageous. The customer service is the only way to contact them and when they dont want to answer legitimate questions of clarifications they just disconnect you. Totally unhelpful and rude. They obviously dont understand the meaning that one trusts them, pays them for a service (and they are not cheap) and their lack of professionalism has a devastating impact on peoples life. They come with a standard of phrase of apologies which copy and paste (Im sure many many times for the disappointed customers). Occasionally their social media team appear with an announcement and then they confirm that they can't do anything. These are not decent trading standards.

First off YODEL lied about my parcel being sent, I sat indoors all day waiting for my parcel and there was no delivery. Despite getting a message saying "sorry we missed you" at 650pm two hours later than estimated delivery time, when checked via tracking my delivery was sitting in the depot. Then when I requested my date to be changed to the next day 5/4/2023, the parcel never left the depot the entire day. I attempted to call to complain webchat wasn't working (it didn't even ring) and the only other way to complain was their stupid autonomous machine that only clarified despite asking where my parcel was that which was shown in the tracking (still sitting in the depot) Absolutely RUBBISH and the company SHOULD be held liable for lying about the "attempted delivery".

Recently I was meant to have a delivery. The yodel delivery driver sent this to the wrong address. I did not receive a call/email/text or any form of communication to let me know this had been delivered. When I personally changed it up they told me that I should have contacted them to enquire about it sooner. The delivery date I had was 3 weeks later than when I had originally attempted to chase it up. So I was calling up sooner. With no details stating that this parcel was delivered I was none the wiser about the delivery. When speaking to an employee on the phone I found her to be rude, unhelpful and in fact a bully. She was talking to me like it was my fault the delivery driver hadn't delivered it to the right address. When I called up again a different person let me know about the mix up and was more helpful. A third call was placed and the same lady spoke to me once more and was even more annoyed and rude that I was chasing this up. Horrible service. Wouldn't recommend and I would rather use carrier pigeon as a delivery service. You might actually receive your parcel then.

The Yodel delivery guy stole the item without delivering the item and posted a fake picture in yodel app informing that it is delivered.
I gave yodel a ultimatum to either deliver my parcel before 9pm the day before valentines day or just straight up send it back to the ebayer that sent me them because i just give up with said company they are useless refuse to help specially those with special needs ie mentally and learning wise they fail all logical answers have goodness knows who working there that dont understand when i mention the parcel is urgently required by a set time they just truelly do not care at all because they just dgaf due to not carering about the customers that they upset no offense please do not use them any more lets make them go out of business because i just hate a service that isnt going to understand when something is urgent it needs to be there the day they advertised for it to be it was advertised to arrive by 13th feb 2024 they have aproximately 5 hours left before i refuse to take the package from them due to being gone and they dont offer leaving the parcel with neighbours or in safe place with this parcel which i call garbadge i will be lettign all ebay sellers not to use them because they just do not care for their customers at all i think everyone else should do the same
I bought a £30 item on eBay and paid by PayPal. Delivery was supposed to be 21 June and Yodel tracking showed that it had been delivered at 11.59am although no card had been left to say where. No package anywhere at my house, or garden or in the shed. The seller asked me to check with neighbours, look in my dustbins etc but no joy. EBay couldn't help at all as they said tracking showed the package had been delivered. Same with PayPal.
I tried phoning Yodel using a phone number eBay gave me because yodel quite clearly don't want people to phone them. No answer at all anyway. I tried webchat for two days but "no advisor available".
Today, 24 June, the package was dumped at my front door, damaged, with no effort to put it around the back of the house or in the shed. Then the yodel tracking was amended to say it was delivered today.
This company is a total disaster, based on my experience. UNCONTACTABLE and quite clearly couldn't care less or enough to have people answering a phone, answering webchat or handling a parcel with respect and delivering it properly.
I will never purchase from any seller of any item if they used yodel for delivery. I will always buy somewhere else.

L have got 28 parcels that have been at a shop since the 26th of December waiting to be collected by your courier, l also have another 18 parcels at another shop, ready to be collected by courier, lve approached both shops, and asked them what is going on, and they both tell me the courier says he hasnt got room for them, on his van, most of my parcels are for Ebay customers, and they are now asking Ebay to step in and get refunded, ebay will refund them, and then the parcels may get delivered a week later, then its too late for me to get my money paid back, today is the 5th of January, so some parcels have been delayed by 10 Days, after this, l will go with HERMES again, your customer service is absolute crap, and l will tell others not to use Yodel,

My package arrived at Yodel's depot on 22/5. On 23/5 at 1.30pm Yodel's tracking updated to say it was out for delivery. I rearranged my afternoon and waited in for Yodel to arrive. At 3.30 Yodel's website updated the status of my parcel to reflect that Yodel had called at my property but I wasn't there, and that Yodel had left a card.
Except I was at home, nobody from Yodel knocked or buzzed or rang, and there was no card.
Twelve days later, Yodel have still not delivered my parcel. Yodel's tracking shows the parcel status as "in transit" as of 29/5. I have made one phone call to Yodel, had six online chats with Yodel's chat-based "customer service", emailed Yodel's social media escalation team as Yodel requested after I left Yodel a bad review on TrustPilot, and at the request of Yodel's Twitter account, sent Yodel a Twitter DM which Yodel have not answered despite my sending it to Yodel six days ago and chasing it with Yodel once a day since then.

Most of the review on there are fake 5stars. Absolute up and down, Back and forth, no communication, app doesn't know what's happening nor do the drivers or the company. Lies more lies and more lies. 5th at depot 6th attempted delivery! Odd when we were there all day, nothing was attentes or delivered. 8th query told would be the 9th and o should download the app, so did, updated address, Neighbourg's, safe place, description etc. then told it would be the 10th, On 12 more chat, kept Logging me out, then eventually told to wait a bit linger the 4.30pm on 12th sent back to dépit because property wasn't accessible on the 6th! Whoa! We had a house, we leave there we have post and delivery daily. Nu yodel can't find access to the property! No one is available to chat on the phone and if you query them to much the shut the chat down. Useless company Do not use at any cost!

The service is an absolute scam - the parcel was supposed to arrive on Tuesday and didn't, with no updates nor notifications - the website still shows the package due to arrive last Tuesday.
I am leaving on Monday and today was the last chance to get the package.
I contacted the Yodel support on Friday to find out what was going on and the customer support agent (Mansi Arora) said that the parcel was at the depot outside of Edinburgh, that they weren't sure when the parcel would be delivered, but confirmed that I could pick up the parcel on Saturday 10:00-12:00 from the depot.
I hence went to the depot at 11am as per their indications, and there found a huge group of angry people because the agent at the counter (Leila the name of the agent) would not search for any more parcels and said that most of the parcels could be found and that they would do nothing about it on the day.
I tried to explain the urgency of the parcel, the fact that it was already almost a week late and that I followed the indications of the Yodel online support agent, but the agents there offered no concrete solution to the problem (the staff was standing there instead of going looking for the parcels when they could well have done so).
