“Great for small business”

My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!

After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.

Over all I'm satisfied with this company.

The good.
They actually do SEO.
They website builder is very easy to use.
They client portal is excellent and easy.
The phone tracking is amazing for training employees and keep track of customer service.
The reviews portal is great and easy.

The Bad.
It's a little expensive.
You have to call them and tell them what you want exactly so if you have no knowledge of SEO you will be left in the back burner (Such as adding pages or services to your website.)

Recommendations.
Add more templates so we could market to our customers by email such as mailchimp or constant contact. (Birthday, Valentines, Labor Day templates) or simple newsletter templates.

Thankfully, I didn't sign on with this company. Anyone can do keywords, adwords and SEO, which is all they do. They even go as far as having a local number come up on the caller ID on my cell phone, even though it turned out she was 1000 miles away. After talking to a friend who works legitimately in the same business as them, I was warned to RUN, DO NOT do business with them. He has customers who used to use yodel and has heard lots of horror stories... charged thousands of dollars for nothing. Stay Away!

The saleswoman was extremely rude and unprofessional with my staff. We get hundreds of calls a month from real clients and she was outright aggressive and combative with my legal assistant when she refused to handle the intake process including asking about the company she allegedly had a claim against (i. E for conflict purposes) - stop lying about what you are selling.

I own a real estate agency and have been with Yodle for about 2 months now. What I love the most is that the results are fast, I started getting calls and web visits almost immediately. I also like that its scalable – I can start out small and increase spend as I go, getting a really good return on my investment.

I cannot put in to words how bad yodel are with out most of the content being removed or blanked out. You can' even describe the repeated non collection of items or phone operatives who tell you they are doing one thing only to discover they didn't even record your call. Thank God they don't handle organ transplant delivery or we would have a hell of a rise in mortality.

Our company, Green Building Energy Services, has been collaborating with Yodle since 2013. The process to set up the account with Yodle was very straightforward. The campaigns (pay per click and organic) have yielded high qualified leads, which are ready to move forward with appointments for new and existing construction.

Additionally, the administrative web site is clean, simple, and easy to navigate and keep track of leads from the initial contact through converting the leads to new and repeat customers.

Green Building Energy Services will expand to additional locations working with Yodle in the future.

I requested ownership of my business listing from YP. It has not been forthcoming. Andrew stayed on the phone with me for well over two hours patiently and professionally explaining to YP why it could be done now and why there was not a need to wait any longer.

This frustrating and exasperating experience was made possible and was done pleasantly because of Andrew's willingness ot help and because of his patience.

They have charged my small business over $900 a month to establish a website and to drive leads on google. When I had my now internet savvy children check out my small business google account as my business has been suffering it was barely populated, not complete, not linked to all of the other websites- yellow pages, uber, yelp, etc. Whenever I have complained with yodle their response is that I need to pay more and more money. Complete waste of money. Do not use.

I’m seeing more results in a short time with Yodle than I had with my previous company. While the previous program was confusing, Yodle is in constant communication with me and it’s quite evident what my money is going towards with their program. My consultant Diana constantly updates me and has been absolutely great. It’s one of the things I’ve been most happy with so far. I got 10 emails from Yodle’s program this weekend alone and it’s really helping our company explode right now.

Not happy so far. 60+days into the contract and haven't seen results that justify the expense. One thing service had done is cause arguments between my biz partner and about wasting the little money that we have.

Had to sign up for three months with payment up front. Scheduled a time for my staff to learn how to use the service. Scheduled an hour and blocked off patients for the scheduled time. Yodle never called in. I did not realize that they would continue charging my card each month. When I called to cancel, I was told that a bill cycle began today and because I did not call 24 hours earlier I would have to pay $1,500 to get out of the contract. Very misleading! Google Ads are much cheaper and do not require money up front.

Based on the limited experience I had over the phone call of 45 min's with Ms. Yolanda Muscovy (Direct Line: *******240) I would say that you all need to stay way from them or any marketing company that uses the pressure tactics by lowering their cost in exchange they will force you to sign up immediately.

After 45 min's of conversation, I liked the entire concept and would have probably gone with their discounted price on the Bronze package of $399/month. All I told her is that I like what I heard and would want to research before I invest any money and she refused to listen to me and told me that there is no point to do research. The results will speak for themselves. She kept insisting and got a little rude as well and I told her NO. I want to do some research before I invest my hard earned money and guess what, she hung up on me. Jesus!

Run! Don't walk. Stay away from Yodle.com.

I gave it 3 months and got lots of calls, but all the calls were wrong phone numbers and only 1 actual lead that could have been a client. The web sites were far below what we already had as far as quality and ranking.

Service was great until I tried to cancel, now I can't get my rep to respond or call back and they charged me for a 4th month against my request to cancel prior to the billing date. I understand it not generating the leads I would have liked and that was a risk I was willing to take. The poor execution is a let down. I hope they make it right when they finally answer my call, email, or dashboard message.

Dawn was very knowledgeable about the product and helpful in getting me started with use of the Yodle online management tools. Even though the company had some bug that prevented our fully utilizing all the tools at that time, she maintained her poise and explained step by step how I will use the tool to good effect once the program comes back online. She was well spoken and very easy to understand. She actually spoke American!

Their co. Agent told me of all the good things they could do. I gave them my co. Info, services I provide. They were going to build a web site and put me on front page of search engines. Well they built a web page that advertised services I did not provide. Also the same on search engines. All calls were for things I don't do. I've been correcting this for 3 months now. They took my money and falsely advertised my business. I traded work to have the co. Investigated for bad business practice and false advertising of my business. Did the same thing to see if I can take legal action against them. Now I'll wait and see. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. One more thing YELP is using YODLE info not my website info. Can't get yelp to change. 2 years later still messed up.

Anyone who only relies on traditional advertising has to know that it’s dead. It’s all about the internet and getting your name on google. Yodle set me up quickly with a great website and overall I’m happy with my results. I’ve even referred my friends who own businesses to sign up too.

I have been with Yodle for 2 years. I signed up using their ppc program, I have increased my budget a few times, and also started using their seo services. My ads appear in the sponsored links, maps and organic results. I get a ton of leads and convert into jobs. The system gets better over time, it was slow first starting out but trust me it gets better! They always pick up the phone if I have questions and work me through any issues. I have no complaints, my sales rep Tim Warner is great and very down to earth. I have referred a few friends over who are also pleased with the results. It's a good company and has helped my business a lot.

I've had my company on the site since the middle of Feb. Looking to grow my business with monthly accounting/payroll services. Right now we're getting a lot of income tax work which has been great. The next phase will be to see how well we do with the monthly work. Thumbs up, Yodle and keep the customers coming!

I gave it 3 stars because I thankfully did not sign up with them so I really can't say whether it was a good idea or not. But given the reviews here, I am glad I didn't. What I will say, however, is that the salesman basically said that he wished he knew before he wasted his time talking to me. Give me a break - people talk to me all the time without hiring me. Cost of doing business, pal.

I'm a photographer and I didn't do any marketing before Yodle, just word of mouth. It's been almost 2 months and I've gotten a few new customers, seen an increase in traffic to my site, and I show up first on Google. As a small business owner it's also nice that making changes to the website is as easy as sending a quick email and having Yodle take care of it. Maintaining a website takes a lot of time and I'm glad I don't have to do that.
