My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.
I was telemarketed to by Yodle last August. A very nice and convincing sales lady promised I would be "so happy with Yodle and the performance of their product that everyone renews" after the 6 months was up. Well that ended up being the biggest lie I've ever been told. Bottom line is I received zero leads, zero calls and no more traffic to my website than I had already been receiving. I feel as if I basically threw away $1200 over the past 6 months. All yodle did was create a bare bones website, far worse than the one I already had and said they were "organically getting me higher up in google". Every time I questioned why I wasn't seeing any results they just said "it takes time". Well obviously at the end of 6 months after paying over 1200 their time was up with nothing to show for it for me and 1200 in their pocket. What a scam.
Tip for consumers:
After writing about my poor experience with Yodle a customer care person reached out to me and offered to refund the money I had wasted on 6 months of advertising. I definitely appreciated this and felt they did the right thing. Hopefully others have better luck than I did but at least I'll say they ultimately did the right thing.
I was signed up for 6 months. Big scam. When I was considering signing up I read the reviews and the girl on the phone talked me into signing up for $199 for 3 months. I should have known when I read the negative reviews that there was some truth to them but didn't. My mistake! Never got anything from this. Save your money!
Leslie,
I'm very sorry that you feel you didn't receive what was promised, can you send me your account details so I can look into your experience and see what went wrong?

The conference call with rep. Courtney Visser was pleasant, informative, and encouraging. She was easy to talk to and very helpful in setting up our platform. The initial introduction and presentation to Yodle by Gerald Addy was excellent. So far, we are pleased and look forward to our experience with Yodle.
I have been using Yodle for about 5 months. I am very satisfied with their services so far. I have been dealing with Corey at that company and he is very helpful and understands all my business needs to make it grow. I would continue to use Yodle and would highly recommend it.
Received a call from a sales rep and agreed to spend time going over what they have to offer. After 30 minutes I told him I would think about it for a few days before I make a commitment. The sales rep then became very pushy and continued on for another 30 minutes. I didn't want to be rude because it was something I was actually interested in. I most likely would have signed up by the sales rep ruined any chance they had. He called me the following week and I told him I wasn't interested right now and he immediately went into the bullying sales tactics again.
Hey John,
That's definitely not how we want our sales folks to leave a potential customer feeling. If you wouldn't mind private messaging us the number you were called on and any other pertinent info, we'll address it immediately.

"Yodle has done a great job helping to improve my organic and SEO visibility. They have worked to make significant improvements in our online presence. Our rep does a great job measuring and managing our account and is in front of all things "Yodle".
The Customer Service Rep. Britney was a delight to receive instructions from when getting to understand the "set-up" for the Dashboard. My only regret is possibly not being able to likely reach her in the future when I call in for help. Thanks! Britney!
I have an iron clad policy of not being swayed by sales pitches. As a very small business I can afford to throw away dollars on non sense. However, I let my guard down because they caught me on a day I was considering opening a market near me. I signed up, and agreed to give them 90 days. Well the 90 plus some is up and nothing. The sites they produced were worse than boiler plate. The results were next to nothing. It was a dead end. I'm a home inspector in a very completive market in Florida and they couldn't make a dent. I about to call to cancel now and only hope this hasn't ruined my current presence on the web and its ranking. Mabey if your in a relatively small market it works but if their is any competition at all they don't seem to have to ability to break through.
Hi Todd,
Thank you for sharing your experience with Yodle. I'm sorry that you're upset about what happened during the three months you were working with us. We work with more than 500 property inspectors across many markets and it's disappointing to hear that results didn't come through for you. One thing I also want to quickly mention is that we create websites that are specifically designed for conversion but, again, I'm sorry that we didn't produce something that met your expectations.
If you have a spare minute, do you mind contacting me at either rmoss@yodle.com or 212-542-5449? I'd like to find out more about what happened so that I can discuss with the appropriate people at Yodle.
Best,
Radley Moss

I have had a GREAT experience with Yodle and will be doing business with them for a long time. I will recommend them to any one who decides to open a company up. I would especially like to recommend Megan reed for all the wonderful help she has provided us in the process of growing our company.
In the 1st 15 days, I have converted 3 leads to sales which exceeded my expectations due to the time it normally takes to increase visibility. The support and attention to my account has been fantastic. While the cost is more than I would have originally budget for, I believe it has turned out to be a wise advertising decsion.
Just finished my intro to Yodle. I am so excited to get started. My customer representative was awesome. She took the time to carefully review all the features. Naturally, I was a bit overwhelmed, but I was assured this happens all the time and I would be assisted all the way through my attempts to really get familiar. Bravo Yodle!
Although I began as a skeptic, I have very quickly become a believer in the concept, format, and customer service team at Yodle. I am a non-techie business owner who was a little concerned about the ease of navigating the tools that I use to enhance my " Adversite". Much to my surprise, they were easier than any dashboard I have ever used. I look forward to interacting with their platform and feel like in a very short time it is becoming successful. Thank you, Yodle
I signed up for a monthly plan with yolde as suggested by their marketing guy who called and convinced me with his sakes pitch. I ended up paying $900 in three months and no results and when i called for help i didnt get any response so i cancelled. However, they charged me for that month also. Out of my frustration i started looking for some solution and found Advanton which is all free and worked for me really well. Yodle must train their staff in delivery and not sales.
Hey James - we're sorry you didn't receive the results you expected, would you mind private messaging us your domain so we can investigate?^MB
I wasn't pleased with the initial work done by Yodle as nothing was really happening.and I went for about a month without a contact from them. Was quite dissappointed until I got the call from megan who seems to really want to see me succeed here and make this a good experience for all of us. She's working and I have a few things to do myself so I trust I'll soon get the leads I'm paying for. I would rate it at this point a 3 star
My experience was personified by the manager in Austin, Tx, with whom I dealt quite frequently, Shelia Kelly. Shelia spent hours with me in developing one of the best websites I have seen for me, or any other attorney for that matter. She is always polite, professional, and concerned, and goes out of her way to ensure that the customer understands precisely what is occurring with his account at all times.
Because of people such as her, I recommend Yodl to my friends for at least the experimental basis of three months.
My business has been a client of Yodle for around 10 years, the only reason I stay with this company is they have provided results. I do know I am getting a bang for my buck, initially they help me capture reviews. The web site is some what antiquated, but is generating leads for the business. My biggest concern is I do not have a dedicated rep. For my account, any correspondence has been initiated by myself, was less frustrating to do business with before merger with web.web. These issues are why my rating is only 3 star(Closing) employees have been helpful. Rick Milbert---Milberts Car Care Inc.

I got exactly what I paid for when I signed up with yodle. They told me what they were going to do and what results I should expect and I got just that. They have a good marketing plan and customer service has given me some good advice. I have already made my money back. It’s an investment I’ll continue to use.
After several months of using Yodle, and not having one phone call translate into an appointment, I attempted to cancel our agreement with them. All I got was the run around for over 15 minutes with fast talking salesmen telling me the program was working for me. I continued to try to tell them very politely that we were going to be using a professional PR agency to handle our advertising and that not one of the phone calls from Yodle users resulted in an appointment, and they still wouldn't let me off the line. I'm embarassed that I ever signed up with this company!
Hi Pamela - I'm disappointed to hear you didn't have more success with Yodle. If you are still having trouble cancelling, please reach out to me. You can contact me at 646-768-3690 or gina.balistreri@yodle.com. Thanks, GB.
Yodle does not rock they rob. I would like to see the success rate they have in helping companies to get phone calls against the #'s of companies that they failed in doing so. They have taken a lot of money from our company, I wish everyone who has had bad responses with this company would get on the ban wagon in reporting them to BBB.
Dishonest, Dishonest. Dishonest…. Yodle is truly the predator of small business. I signed up with Yodle on a 3 month trial basis. Their sales rep told me Yodle will build me a new website and advertise it online. Try it for three months and cancel if you are not satisfied. At the end of 3 months if you are not satisfied Yodle will give you the internet files for your website. She said they will charge me $750 per month for the first 3 months. The website they created was full of mistakes and misspelling etc. After 3 months I told them I wanted to cancel, they refused my cancellation request and signed me up for $450 per month. They continued charging my credit card. I had to change my credit card number.
I have enrolled for 6 months.
I have seen bad reviews at Yelp but I feel they are just percentage of their 60k customer base.
I have had reservations after reading those reviews and was about to cancel contract but I have decided to give them a chance.
Hopefully I will get a chance to write an awesome review after my 6 months or even during that time.
Hi Shilpa - I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a better experience with one of our sales representatives. As I mentioned in my email, we are currently looking into the incident and are hoping to resolve any issues. Best, GB.
Worst business mistake I have made for my small business. They promised the moon and delivered nothing. After the three month trial, where I spent $!, 500 per month, they charged again as an ongoing service. My bad for not catching that. As soon as I received my credit card bill, I called and canceled. They then charged me again, and refuse to issue a credit.
Don't make the same mistake I made... Avoid this company!

I sent a request to add a couple of items to my website with Yodel. Courtney had it done before the end of the day. For my business it is important to have updates as soon as possible to ensure my clients have the most updated info.
Thank you very much Courtney.
I started with Yodle in December and have continually been impressed with the quality of customer care. Every person I have spoken with from Yodle has been professional, knowledgeable, and has gone out of their way to answer my questions and address my concerns. I am looking forward to a long relationship!
We are a small Marriage Coaching business and Yodle has effectively been driving clients to contact us and after follow-up to become clients. As a small business with limited clients slots, we have gained a reasonable number of clients thru Yodle's marketing strategy. They have been responsive to our small need and limited marketing budget. Thank you, Bob
