My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.
"Since using Yodle, I have seen an increase in highly qualified leads which have produced the highest close rate of any of my marketing channels. The tracking and measurement information Yodle provides makes it a no brainer for the business that wants to know the return on the marketing dollars."

JUST GOT A CALL A FEW MINUTES AGO>>>LADY NEEDS HER CARPET STRETCHED... WHERE DO THEY FIND THESE PEOPLE?
I felt a little overwhelmed at first but once Bonnie walked me through the dashboard, it showed me just how easy it is to drive the internet side of this business.
Soo thrilled with the multi level service soo far with Yodle! Talk about organized and on their game! I feel the cost has already been recouped! Now to see results! Customers!
I've gotten a number of leads which sometimes turn into clients. Their dashboard is very easy to use and gives me quick information regarding how their service is working for me.
Very impressed with the fast hands on responses from customer service and easy navigation of my dashboard. I have much faith in Yodle and I look forward to growing with you!
Yodle contacted me as I was starting up my law practice and pitched me their demo via an online demonstration. The first thing that made them stand out from other company's was that they did not require a long-term contract commitment before I received a day of service. That made me quickly realize that they would be invested in my success each and every month in order to keep my business as their customer. After the initial 90-day period was over... I stayed with Yodle throughout the life of my business because they absolutely delivered each and every month on their promise. By the 60-day mark I had customers calling regularly. By the 90-day mark my business was growing more than what I had expected it to grow... in large part due to Yodle's management of the google ad program, which was always seeking to make it more cost-efficient and precisely tailored to my business needs. After about 10 months of using Yodle, my return on investment was much much better than I had expected. It also didn't hurt that they had above-excellent customer service each and every time I had questions, concerns, etc. They definitely went above and beyond for me and I have already recommended Yodle to several of my close friends who are thinking of opening up a business.
Tip for consumers:
One thing that was paramount to my online success with Yodle was my input on the google ad campaigns we ran together. Like anything, you get OUT, what you put IN. They used my input to constantly make my campaigns exactly tailored to the customers I wanted to target...and it worked. SO...work with them and get involved...and it will definitely pay dividends for your business.
Very good informative training, will work very well in the long run. Program has good customer capabilities and interactions. Trainer did a great job. Thanks
Yodle’s customer service team is very proactive. They call me often to go over my program and discuss my current needs; the communication is excellent.
So far, it has been beyond worthless. I am a therapist and get called regularly from sites like Psychology Today online. I don't even understand how it is POSSIBLE to have 18 5 star reviews on Yodle's "adversite" and theoretically be ranked on the first pages of Google and Bing, and not get a SINGLE call. Something is very fishy here.

We are an Interior Design Studio in Miami. From the time that we originally purchased, which was in March, no one from Yodle ever cared to check on the status of our marketing campaign, until I reached out to them in September to cancel.
From March to September, we only received 8 leads, and all of them were wrong numbers, solicitors, or contractors looking for work. The SEO keywords that they focused on were so irrelevant for our business, and we weren't even ranked in the top 35 for any of these keywords on Google over a period of 6 months.
Yodle billed us on the 5th of the month and I cancelled on the 7th, and they refused to give me a refund or even a prorated amount for the month.
I spoke with one customer service rep, and 2 account managers, Sheila Kelly & Chuck McCann. They were actually very nice but couldn't resolve my billing issue.
Tip for consumers:
Good for small business that are just starting out and do not have a website or online presence. We already have a great website, and the adversite they made for us was very standard and not impressive. Also it's very confusing to clients when you search for your business name and two different websites come up.
Melissa,
This is Radley Moss, Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about your experience because it sounds like you did not receive the level of service we expect from our team. I’d like to find out more about what happened. If you have time, could you please contact me at rmoss@yodle.com or 212-542-5449 so that we can discuss further? I’m glad that you do see value in the services we provide for other businesses but both new and also more established businesses benefit from working with us. I’d be happy to discuss more about why we usually recommend that our clients use a Yodle adversite.
Thanks again,
Radley
Yodle Created a Website for me that is Extremely Professional, which they use to Market my Company for me using Google Adwords and other Streams of Marketing. Saves me time and money, and they do a way better job than I could ever do. Highly Recommend them for marketing a Biz.
As a marketing director for one of the fastest growing cosmetic surgery practices in the country, I am glad we switched to Yodle from a competitor. While we were obtaining a ROI from a Yodle competitor, we did not have direct contact with a sales rep and understanding their campaign strategy was hard. However, when we switched to Yodle, the company proved to increase our ROI AND I had access to my sales rep to help guide me through what they were doing and why. We've worked with their team to produce campaigns that reach our target and generate leads. Was I nervous to switch, yes. Am I glad we switched to Yodle, yes! When I see that people had a bad experience, I'm surprised because when you track your leads, you should find that Yodle can help increase your business. If you are changing your strategy or have short term goals to achieve, contact them and they will help you reach them with this particular marketing tactic. Overall, I'd give them 4.5 stars because there are a few improvements I'd suggest in the client portal.
I just got off the phone with a Rep from Yodle and I was skeptical from the beginning because I know I had already told them "NO" in the past. However, I listened this time just to keep an open mind. We went through the whole "watch this video thing" - which is really annoying and you (Yodle) should really drop that from your sales pitch.
Next, he asked me about our costs to conduct inspections and I explained to him that this is difficult to pin down to an exact cost because of so many variables (i. E. distance to property, size of property, extent of concerns, etc.) but he kept pushing "what is the cost?" - this annoyed me. So, I gave him an approx. Cost.
Next, he asked how many inspections we do a month and about what capacity we were at for inspections... I thought this was a good question. Because of the economy, we are running about 50% capacity. Then he said, "So how long have you been leaving $X, XXX (thousands) per month on the table?" HUH? I asked, what did he mean? He was trying a nice trick and this really irritated me. He was trying to say that because we were NOT at 100% capacity that we were "leaving money on the table" and this was happening because we were NOT using Yodle.
I explained to him that our website is already optimized for various platforms, it is brand new, and that I have been managing Google Adwords for more than a year and half which has quickly become our top money-maker... fortunately, I received a call from a client and had to go because I was about to hang up.
I was told they would make a new web page, generate reviews and not disturb anything I was already doing. I was very adamant about this because I had google reviews and was very high in search rankings. I only agreed to sign up because they promised a lot more reviews. They wanted my google business log in info so they could be an additional administrator. I was hesitant but gave it to them. This is where things went bad. They changed my google info by changing the phone number to their tracking number, removing the working page from google maps and removing all google reviews. I learned this when I searched my own service when business dropped off and I had totally disappeared. I got things switched back and changed my sign in info so Yodle can't get in again. Maybe if you don't have anything that works, Yodle could help you, but if something works well, they will ruin it. The website they built is generic crap. Even just having that up hurts a business with multiple sights at one address. Your business means nothing to them. They are so big, everyone is just a number.
Hi Bill – I read your review and am very sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience with Yodle. I assure you we care deeply about each and every one of our customers and am disappointed that you didn’t find success with our product. I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback and I will be sure to pass it along to the appropriate teams internally. Bonnie did a great job of walking me through the steps. The dash board is so easy to use, I found myself clicking and jumping ahead of her. I am expecting great things with Yodle.
Great, glad I have your services. Best company out there. I have been battling a website provider for 8 years. In less then a month we are rolling and making money. Yodle is the BEST!
I called to get some help on how to send emails out to my past clients so they could give us a review I had a very positive experience the gentleman that helped me was very helpful thank you
It works! I have received a lot of phone calls, much more than I expected, probably 2 or 3 a day since we started. I have been able to convert about 50% into appointments so it's been pretty great.
They have a great business plan charge you thousands of dollars and don't do squat! Then they bill your CC you would have better luck talking to that Nigerian Prince!
Hey Bob,
We're sorry you feel that way - would you mind sending us your account details via PM so we can try and help?
-Mike
After signing up with Yodle, we noticed a significant increase in inquiries, both over the phone and through the web site via email. We're very happy with our Yodle package.
Bonnie from Yodle did a fantastic job providing recommendations on how to better maximize everything Yodle has to offer. I am excited to implement her suggestions and await positive results.
Yesterday, I went on the online chat to find out how to do something and I was fortunate enough to work with Ryan. Being in customer service as long as I have been, I know how important it is that whomever I am dealing with have a great attitude and have wonderful listening skills. He was amazing at that. He didn't make me feel foolish for asking the questions and went as far as to creatively suggest a solution. I am ridiculously happy with the solution. Ryan is really someone that I could hear smiling through the phone. Priceless.
I had to call back today to take care of a situation that was very important and had caused me to be upset. (We had our Facebook page stolen, long story short) and all of our Yodle info was being posted on the stolen page. At one point I could barely speak and yet the woman that I was talking with was so kind. I normally don't cry, we just have been dealing with the ways of this devious ex-employee since February. Every time I think I have things handled something else comes up that I had to deal with. The woman I spoke to not only helped me with a fix, but checked to see it was working and was so kind and caring and patient. It is those things that set you above the rest in customer service.
I signed up with this company hoping to put me towards the top of any searches for my type of business/service in my area. I have not received 1 lead. I have had 2 calls from people trying to sell me something, but, that is it. I feel like really stupid for spending my money on this. I work really hard for my money too! DO NOT SPEND ANY OF YOUR ADVERTISING DOLLARS WITH YODLE! -Linda-
Hey Linda,
We're sorry you're not receiving the result you expected - would you mind providing us your account details via private message so we can reach out and see if we can help?
-Mike
We get as many as 10 calls per day from here and many become sales. In fact thanks to Yodle we got the dumpster contract for a major hotel renovation which has brought in $60,000 and still going.
