My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.

My boyfriend started a business and found Yodle and was promised all these things and that his business would be listed on the first page of Google if he has 3 good reviews. The website design was horrendous. We're still on page 4. He's complained several times about the company name that they messed up on. It's cost us more than we can afford. He's currently cancelling.
I have to agree with the gentleman before me. As I have talked with yodle they told me you could expect 50-60 clicks with a $900 a month budget. However there are some factors that maybe the people having trouble do not realize. For example: how much of your competition is also using Yodle and not to mention where are you from. If you are in an area with a lot of people offering the same product then your results will vary. However, lets face it, 10 extra calls a day in this time period is better than nothing and Yodle tracks its success if you use it correctly.
The people and technology seem to be top-notch. I am very impressed with their attention to detail and extremely helpful attitude. The site they created was good and it's great to be able to track the results with the metrics they provide. I'm just about a month into the service and have received enough business to pay for the monthly fee plus a bit of profit. I'm anxious to see if the results over time meet my expectations. I definitely get some leads that are not in my target market but overall I'm getting more good leads than I expected. If the trend continues for the next couple of months they will rate 5 stars.
My Yodel service has been excellent. I've had very positive results with good customer service. Value/$ is very high compared to most of their competition. I would recommend them to anyone starting a small business.

My personal experience with Yodle has been more then adequate, the tracking and reports have come in very handy to follow up on potential clients. My favorite part about Yodle is having the ability to listen to all of the calls that came into our office through our Yodle number and review them for quality service and training. This review is coming from a family owned service business. We have been with Yodle for just over a year now. I won't lie the first three months are a drag. Of course we had high expectations. The phone did ring it just did'nt seem to be happening fast enough. Because we continued with Yodle modifying as we went our organic listings are up. In the long run not so costly you just need to stay with it.
We didn't really like our experience with them. For us we were looking for families in a certain area of town. They are better at broad spectrum hits. Website they make for you is cookie cutter - very few ways to adapt it to fit your individual needs. Also they issue you a special phone number to track - this becomes a problem when you cancel the service because people save that number and then it shows out of service.
I’ve had PHENOMENAL results with yodle! I picked up 4 new contracts. The first one was within a couple of days of me getting started. I always desired to be highlighted in searches but I thought it had to be really expensive. When a man from yodle called me and explained that he could do that for me at an affordable price-I was sold. In no time at all they got me going with a website. They were professional and quick. Everything about the service has been wonderful so far!
Yodle is not suited for companies looking to bolster their existing online presence. As a Yodle client you are paying them to create a completely autonomous website and promoting a completely autonomous phone # that is not and will never be owned by the client. If you are a start up, or are willing to abandon your current online efforts and willing to pay Yodle monthly or yearly for the rest of your business life, then they might work for you. As an existing company with an existing online presence, this cannot work for us. The sales pitch was appealing, high pressure and ever so slightly deceptive. Don't be tricked, just say "no". There is no buyers remorse period. Once you click into your "site" there's no turning back and you're initial investment (for us over $500) is stolen.
We really love our rep, she has been able to really turn things around for us and has gone above and beyond. When we have a request she turns it around in 24 hours.
On a side note, I am astonished at all of the bad reviews coming from others, my experience with their paid search team has been nothing but positive and coming from an agency background, that says a lot.
Yodle's dashboard is very user friendly and intuitive. Requires little to none specialized knowledge and is a powerful stand alone platform for communications and marketing. Our small firm began benefiting from the service almost immediately.

Yodle has a very straight forward and user friendly interface for those wanting to get a handle on their SEO. This is a great way to get familiar with the capabilities of pay-per-click advertising and see how potential clients are finding your business. By offering recorded calls you can monitor the type of clients that are reaching you and also find out how to better close a sale from the staff side. I have appreciated the ease of tracking our leads and am confident that it has helped patients find our office more efficiently.
Stay Away! - The absolute worst advertising decision I ever made. Unfortunately I signed a 3 month contract and the very minimum budget option you can choose is $500.00 a month with a $57 account management fee. So far I have spent over $900.00 for a total of 139 clicks and 4 contacts that resulted in no business leads. What a joke and a waste of money. I can't wait for my three months to end and I have already contacted Yodle and requested that my account be cancelled at the end of my contract. Go elsewhere if you are looking for results because they will promise the sky while delivering nothing in return, leaving you looking skyward while they take your money.
Yodle has been the best marketing tool I have used. Easy and affordable! I was able to keep track of all my customers and all potential clients with a click of my mouse or on my phone.
Everyone is looking on line for services so Yodle keeps it quick and easy. They deliver exactly what they say they will. I worked with their members personally to ensure my vision got promoted. When I called, I spoke to a live person.

Initially, we mostly used Yodle for work in the winter time when our own leads would go down. They would get us enough work to fill the gaps. Diana, our consultant, has been really good to work with. I’ve had 3 reps overall and they’ve all been able to answer my questions. As far as features, the client dashboard is cool because I can look at the map and see where my leads are coming from. Eventually, were able to buy out our competitors because we saw the location the calls were coming from. We can listen to every call that comes through from Yodle and analyze them on the dashboard too which is definitely a feature we enjoy.
I've used similar companies for marketing in the past that had me paying for my own customers calling and just taking over my domain name. I was reluctant to use yodle because I thought they would be like the others, but that's not how yodle works. They work in conjunction with my own marketing and are far more effective. They customized our website for our practice, provided more exposure on search engines, and helped us get calls that are out of reach of other kinds of advertising. Yodle does an excellent job at marketing exactly how my practice needs.
I reached out to Yodle because I was doing Google Adwords on my own and it took up so much time. I really needed a company to take that additional workload off. I’m extremely happy that I went with them. We’ve been with Yodle for a few years now and I’d say about 80% of my business comes from them. And as a high-end landscape design company, we’re easily generating tens of thousands of dollars each month. What’s best though is that while Yodle markets my business, I can focus on what matters – managing my business.
Yodle will deliver the website for your business with the masked phone number and recording services, but after that, not much will happen. It does take the 60 - 90 day period to get any sort of rank with SEO services / organic listings but this is something any person with any knowledge of websites can do for themselves. I would highly recommend against using Yodle as they're way overpriced and there is absolutely no benefit.

I have been reading all these negative reviews. What these so called business owners don't understand is patience for one and make sure your website stands out. I have been with yodle for 3 years now. It takes about 2 months to start seeing results. Below is the revenue that Yodle has produced for our Company over 3 years.
Year 1 = $38,281.21
Year 2 = $91,407.23
Year 3 = 489,812.09
This is just with Yodle. These numbers don't lie. The people complaining are either lazy or clueless how to run a company. We probably have a lot of there customers.

I really let my guard down and bought into their sales pitch that more leads would be generated to my law office. They require you to sign a three month contract. The salesman claimed that based upon prior experiences with other law firms I would bring in at least one new file a week. My bad for trusting what he was saying.
The website they produced was anything but impressive. They then cut and pasted from my existing website. The marketing consultant told me to give it time, although it was clear it was going no where. After one month I requested to cancel in exchange for receiving one moth credit (paying for two months and only utilizing one). They said no... give it more time. I now have two weeks left and have been told that I have $600.00 in ad credits. I asked to cancel and simply receive a $600.00 credit. Again, they were uncooperative.
Save yourself the trouble and do not fall for their sales pitch. It was an expensive lesson learned!
