My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.
Thank you Ms Miles.
Yodle, I thank so you very much for all your help. Thanks Yodle for the personal touch of having the same person contact me and your follow up calls that made it so much more user friendly. I'm not computer savvy as most but her patience and time with me made your product a winner for my business. I'm looking forward to so much of what Yodle has to offer. Keep doing what you do and take me to that next level.
Stay in touch.

They did a great job for 3 years but started giving me the run around when I tried to cancel. The manager that I needed to talk to in order to finalize the cancellation was never available and did not return calls at the time promised. I will call all of the people I referred to Yodle and tell them what they are doing to me.
Scam! Terrible ROI. No leads converted. Received almost all wrong number calls or telemarketers trying to sell me services related to my field. Very generic website. Have no ability to change concepts or have anything interesting. Their SEO is very poor and strategies are outdated. Their only strategy is to have your name and city making your information very robotic. They have 40 other of your competitors in the same city using the same algorithms. I told them I did not want to continue and they charged me again for another month, now I am dealing with accounting to try and refund my money. Then to cancel and keep your website you have to pay them $250 when you mad $0 money off $1,700 of worthless marketing...
I gave them about 3 months like they asked for and I got nothing but calls for other companies that cancelled with them all over the country. Their staff was super nice, but I had to do all the writing and had to request corrections over and over until done. They have a set system they plug you in to. For some businesses it may work, but totally did not work for me as a Realtor. Not recommended for real estate. So in a market where there are 6000 Realtors... it did not do anything but get me lost in the rest of them and eat up my market budget for a few months.
Sheryl - this is Radley Moss, Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. I'm very sorry to hear about these issues. Would you be open to contacting me to discuss your experiences further? We are working with a number of other realtors who are enjoying success with us, and would like to find out more about what happened with you so that we can right this wrong. You can reach me at either 212-542-5449 or rmoss@yodle.com.
I was just starting up a new business so I signed up with Yodle to get my name out there and it’s working. I’m starting to see my name online a lot more and I’ve started getting calls from it. I didn’t have to do the website myself, they did it for me which saved a ton of time for me. I’ve already gotten two jobs from it.
I’m new with Yodle and my season (tax season) hasn’t started yet, so it’s too early to expect a ton of work but I feel confident that things will roll out nicely and I already have a potential client. I like the structure of my website and I believe that it’s going to work for me. The people at Yodle are also really nice and constructive
Wow. What an amazing ripoff. I am an IT project manager in the marketing office of a top university, and am involved with a lot of SEO and internet marketing campaigns. As a help to my sister-in-law, I agreed to look over what Yodle had been doing. First of all, they sell themselves as SEO specialist - Not even remotely the case. After one year of yodle (and about $6000!), her site ranked only a 29 out of 100 on an SEO website grader tool. When I looked at the code, Yodle had not even implemented the most basic of SEO practices. Stay away!
Man, I wish I had checked here before I decided to use them. Spent over $1,000 on their "service" only to get complete crap. They didn't understand the basic concepts of landing pages that lie outside of the site structure. My average click costs were more than 3x what I was paying before. Let's put it this way, my average costs to acquire a client average around $30. I paid Yodle over $1,000 and didn't get a single client. How's that for "value"?
Stay away from them at all costs.
Yodle has started working for us almost instantly. After I opened the account, within hours I started getting phone calls that was initiated from Yodle. Being conservative, I think we had 5 sales that first week.
My marketing specialist, Emily B has been superb from the get go. She is easy to work with and has a genuine concern for my success. With Emily's expertise, she would recommend changes to our adversite to help us grow our customer base.
I can't thank these people enough. In the three weeks I have been a client they have done more for my business than I could have done in a year. I can't stop thanking them. They are in contact checking up to make sure i don't have any questions and their level of professionalism is unmatched. If you want a company that truly cares about your business then YODLE all the way to the bank.
I have a kitchen remodeling business and my sales rep Wes was knowledgeable and honest. Most importantly he set the right expectations for my business. He did not make promises that Yodle couldn't deliver just to tie the knot. He showed me ranges of calls and emails I could expect, and so far they have been accurate. My campaign is going great so far. Give it a shot, see you on the front page!
Yodle has been a very positive experience. I am very please with the service from all the call backs. So far this is what I was looking for in the marketing area. Can't Wait until I start getting Leads. I have only been with them for 11 days. I will keep you posted.
The set up phone call was very helpful. The call came right on time as scheduled and lasted longer than anticipated to answer all of my questions and go over everything I wanted to know. The service was friendly, professional, and patient. I would recommend to anyone looking to expand their business!
I gave them $3000. To clean up my online presence. They guaranteed my results in less than six weeks. Six months later nothing had changed. Over a year later we negotiated a 26% refund. I never received it. One excuse after another until they disappeared. In my opinion they belong in jail.
Steven,
I'd be happy to look into this for you - can you send me a DM with your account details and i'll investigate?
-Mike
Well-explained and expeditious. Everything made sense. Easy to communicate with. A lot of patience for two people who weren't above changing their minds a few times, and then changing them back.
Thanks, Jared!
Great job designing website and getting my name out there. 1 star off for the over excessive amount of time required on the phone. Almost 2 hours initially, then they call and require you go through phone training of their CUI. Although I explained that I understood it all, they insist. Then it's another hour as they walk me through what I already know.
Other than that, it's grown my business and I would recommend it.
My experience with Yodle has been great. Over the years I've spent a lot of money trying different forms of online advertising and marketing to generate leads for my business. Most of them had little to no results. I was very skeptical about using Yodle. After some time and consideration, I decided to give them a try. I started off with a small monthly budget. In the first month a landed a contract that was over 100k plus numerous others. The results have been fantastic! My phone continues to ring and my business is growing. Thank you Yodle and Kerry S.
I never got to try the service because the sales person (Austin Lipp) was very pushy and rude. They do not take a "I like to try the service but since it is a big investment, I need to come up with $1300 monthly to get your services". He got mad and started talking loud and did not let me speak at all. I was willing to try it, but now, this will be the last marketing company I would hire for my business! Worst experience ever!
Hi Mary,
My name is Radley Moss, Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. I'd like to apologize on behalf of the company for the negative experience you had with us. Yodle does not tolerate unprofessional behavior from its employees. We are investigating this situation and will be taking the appropriate action.

Hmmm, I should've read this first! I too was contacted by a rep. And with promises of helping me get my website up and running as well as my social media page amoungst other promises. I took a chance with the last of my advertising money for the year. Huge waste of money, in six months I got one lead from these guys and it was a marketer asking if I would like to learn how to get more leads... HA HA HA OMG! Seriously. And to pour salt on the wound the cancellation process is damn near impossible. My best advice is to just hang up on these clowns And run...
Dear Steve,
We're very sorry that you didn't receive the results you hope for, and had some difficulty with the cancellation process. If you'd like to private message me your account information, I'd be happy to investigate and see if I can assist.
-Mike
I have been working with Jeanie Isenhour on my Yodle campaign- we launched in Dec.
And things have been moving better than I had expected. Jeanie immediately instilled a quite confidence in me that the program would be successful. I can attest to the fact that she was correct. I have a growing base of contacts, more requests for my specific target, and with her excellent guidance thru the regular reviews, her team suggestions and tweaks on word choices I see this endeavor to be extremely positive and profitable.
It was a pleasure to talk to John about the need for some corrections to the adversite in regard to correcting some common grammar problems, such as replacing "their" with "his or her" when discussing a child's needs. However, I was frustrated about having your operation closed at 4:20 pm Pacific time, when I called back to recommend further corrections to complete the process. I would therefore appreciate a return call at 7:00 am Pacific time to finish the correction so that we can have a really great presentation on the website. I
I called near business closing hours with a few "quick" items because that was the only time I had to call. Probably over an hour later, Michelle was still on the phone with me helping me clean up discrepancies on my website as well as giving me insights as to why or why not certain things could be done the way that I was requesting. I was feeling bad for keeping her so late but she insisted that she could continue helping me which made me feel confident that even if everything wasn't fully fixed by the end of the call, that it would be still set as a high priority to be done as soon as possible (she ended up finishing everything we started anyway). I just really appreciated that she stuck with me and worked through all of my concerns and requests.
I used Yodle for 3 months with no problems. I was rarely ever able to see my add when I googled but business picked up so some people were seeing it. I then suffered a broken back and when I was out of the hospital and able to call to cancel my account, as I will not be able to continue working, I was informed that I was billed earlier that morning for the next month and there is nothing they can do. Any company that pulls this type of thing will do anything they can to grab your money and could care less about their customers. Im very dissapointed with Yodle.com and would highly recommend using another company.
Hi Brent – I’m sorry to hear about your experience with Yodle and the difficulty you encountered when trying to cancel your account. If you could reach out to me, I would like to look into this issue further and help you resolve it. You can reach me directly at 646-768-3690 or gina.balistreri@yodle.com. Thanks, GB.
I have been using yodle for a year and finally just cancelled- I should have done so long ago. I don't want to say it is a scam, necessarily. However, they promise you the moon and the stars- telling you that you better get ready because they may be sending you more business than you can handle. This is not true. I have never once gotten the amount of called promised by my initial sales rep., although at first, I did see results. Every time I would complain in the past year, I would suddenly see results. I have spent $12k this year on yodle and have broken even, so it isn't like I have lost money, but still, they promise to help you MAKE money. They overcharge severely for what they actually do and toss you to the back burner after a couple of months. I am not tech savvy and am terrified of managing my own website, or else I would have cancelled long ago.
When I contacted Yodle I was prepared to cancel my account for a number of reasons. I talked with Lauren Smith who listened and heard the frustration I was experiencing. Lauren immediately responded to the issues and together we resolved the problems to my satisfaction. She was patient, knowledgeable and professional and as a result of her responsiveness I have decided to remain a loyal Yodle advocate/consumer. Lauren exemplifies what 'customer service' is all about.
