My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.
I am an attorney in immigrstion matters and General Practice in Flushing, NY. I contracted Yodle to help mame my new law offices marketable to new clients. I paid $230 every month for two months and had to discontinue for the third month. During those two months, I dI'd not receive one single call or email from any prospective clients. I downloaded email contact for about 67 emails and telephone numbers as well as reasonable reviews. Yodle did not provide me with a single client lead. I was left with big disappointment and worse than what my hope and asperasions were at the beginning. I am now doing direct ads with Google and Yahoo! Because that was what I needed in the first place, not the so-called generic website or what YODLE call adversite to used to mislead people into signing up with it for ads. I am now mulling on the next legal options to deal with this deception or what amounted fraud.
I had an excellent experience with Yodle, especially with my Account Manager, Scott Rappaport, who worked with me to achieve the best results possible, which are quality leads and ultimately, SALES! From the design of my personalized website, to the geography I should cover, Scott helped guide me to achieve wonderful exposure and I was able to sign my largest new client in 2013! My ROI will be over 400% for this one client alone... Thanks Scott and the Yodle Team for all your efforts on my behalf! Paul Englund CPA
After trying a few different companies for SEO work and using Google Ads ourselves, Yodle reached out to us. We have received a significant amount of new leads using Yodle and the Dashboard service really helps us track our leads.
My experience has been that my emails are OBVIOUSLY not read, or ignored entirely and not replied to at all. They seem more concerned with keeping citysearch happy than keeping me, the CUSTOMER, happy. Terrible. Plus they charge 1500/ month for stuff I can do in-house for a few hundred, tops. This is a horrible rip-off scam, and they don't do anything other than dilute our traffic via their awful analytics system (setting up a 2nd website and directing traffic to it is SEO FAIL), ignore my emails, and waste our resources. Can we implement a lower rating?
As a small business owner you are always trying and hoping to make the right and smart decesions for your business. I have been a yodle client for the past five years. They have designed and managed my website and have sorced to my company many excellent and profitable leads in my market area. Through the years we have had some hiccups as any bussines relationship over a period of time will tell. However they have always been resolved. I have and will continue to reccomend Yoodle!
This has got to be the worst marketing experience I have ever been a part of. Save yourself and go ANYWHERE but here. SEO, Yelp, Fb, twitter.
They hijack your current branding, do a HORRIBLE job, and overcharge 3x what you would pay on any legitimate platform.
Run far far far away from this company.
I have had a great experience working with Meagan. I have gotten great results with the organic SEO and I love that I can listen to how my staff are handling incoming calls that come because the person has visited our website.
Ryan was a pleasure to talk to... He was very patient and seemed sincerely concerned with helping me optimize my business ranking on the map listings with Google. He took extra time to explain in simple terms what can be hard to explain, regarding the process of SEO ranking with Google, and he left me with a feeling of assurance and confidence in his expertise in this area with Yodle. THANKS RYAN!
They hosted my website for several years for $19 per month. I was notified via email, that as of Sept 25, it was going up to $49, and to call or email if I had questions or wanted to cancel. I made other arrangements, and both called and emailed on the 23rd, and got an email response. I also called on the 25th again, to make sure they wouldn't take the money out of my account, and was assured they would not. But they did. And now they're saying that I can't get a refund, because I should have told them BEFORE the 23rd, via phone only, not email. I said that I met all the conditions of their email, with a day to spare- and they said too bad- that's not what's in my contract. It has to be via phone, M-F during business hours. Yes, it's just $50, but I work hard for my money, and don't appreciate being ripped off and taken advantage of. BEWARE OF YODLE!

They promise us a full refund of all fees if not satisfied but when we asked for a refund they appear to have carefully covered themselves "legally" so that they wouldn't have to give us any refund.
The tricky "conditions" of the full refund were only clear after the fact and they were not what was implied in all of our "verbal" sales talk.
I was told yesterday by a Yodle rep that "under no circumstances will Yodle EVER refund our money". When I asked for a supervisor I was told that "there was no supervisor to talk to".
Quite a different story than what they told us signing up.

Beth - I'm not sure who you spoke to but I'd like to find out what happened and to see if I can help you with this matter. I saw in your profile that you're with a company called Rubber Duck Design. There isn't a record of the company in our client database. However, I assume you legitimately are a Yodle customer, so I encourage you to please reach out to me at 212-542-5449 or rmoss@yodle.com.
I also want to mention that Yodle does provide full or partial refunds under some circumstances. Additionally we give terms and conditions to all customers when they sign up with us.

I agree, with several of the previous comments,
Yodle preempted all of the work that I had done on product placement and marketing... Sabatashing my branding... A year worth of work destroyed by thier clumbsy efforts.
Dushe bags, how I wish they had never darkened my doorstep...

Their people respond in a timely manner. The customer service is good. No complaints yet. Ask me 4 months from now, and that will be the determining factor.
Yodle is a super easy platform for the user no matter how much experience you have with computers. Strait forward steps to get everything you need up and running. Highly recommend!
Yodle's customer service is amazing! They not only walked me through the initial setup, but they answer my email questions right away and they follow-up with a phone call. So far I am very happy...
I just got off the phone with a Yodle rep... He was making all kinds of false promises about marketing. The only thing Yodle is good at is pitching you this grand idea of how advanced their technology is and how it can manipulate search results, utterly false. What I found amusing was his pitch of "if you say yes right now to our service, I can get you off the phone in the next 30 seconds and you can get back to your work!" Then he proceeded to banter on for another 10 minutes, only letting me speak to answer staged questions such as "being visible online is good for a business right?" "We have over 50,000 customers, that proves that we're a valuable resource right?" A**hole is so condescending he explains multiple times what a "mobile device" is. Poor guy didn't realize I know more about search engine optimization then he does, could see right through his lies. Maybe Yodle can work for some businesses, but their unethical approach is a huge red flag. By the end of the call I wanted to slam my head on my desk. Stay away!
Jared was a pleasure to work with on my Yodle Setup Call. He was very professional and took the time to not only show me each Feature but also answer any questions I had. Great experience!
Business helping business. Truly love the service thus far. They have really fine tuned my online marketing and web presence.
Wish I had known about them a year ago.
Thanks Yodle!
I am very appreciative that the Yodle team got back to me in a reasonable time and took care of the requested website changes quickly and efficiently!
Thank you for making my work much easier!
Was with them for three months and never accomplished what they promised. This guy's are like car salesmen... this is the first time ever that I have to write a negative feedback...
Hi Enea - I'm sorry that you didn't have a better experience with Yodle. I'd like to look into it to see what happened with your account. If you don't mind, could you reach out to me at syvenna.siebert@yodle.com or 646-770-8974?
Thank you,
Syvenna Siebert
Thorough, patient, and efficient with the amount of information we covered during my setup call. Great service, customer focused. Looking forward to working on my new marketing dashboard!
Bonnie Jenkins showed me around the dashboard today, and it was so user friendly. I'm excited about uploading photos and getting reviews to help my online rankings.
Objectivity:
Our company spent about $2,000. Yodle generated 2 phone calls, 1 email, 126 clicks, and none of it turned into a sale as far as we can tell -- you do the math.
My experience with Yodle has been good so far. I own a solo law firm and started working with Yodle about six months ago. They’ve helped me get exactly the kind of clients that I’m looking for.
The representative was very professional and provided friendly service along with some tips on how to maximize my exposure online. Thank you for the help!
Slowly gaining traffic. It takes a while to see the results but eventually will be paying for itself. Worth it if you get customers from mobile phone search's.
