My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.
I have done marketing for my law firm via tv commercials, websites, and radio ads. Yodle is by far the best service that I have ever used. I will strictly use Yodle from now on. I have referred friends to use yodle as well. My law practice is booming and I have to thank Wes Curry for his great advice. Business could not be any better!

I used Yodle for 3 months. We got off to a rocky start with strange calls coming in from all over the U.S. but Yodle was always easy to reach and aggressive about tweaking. They responded to all my questions and I saw great returns. I heard about them from another business owner and I have since recommended them.
This company did not do what the promised to do. They did not deliver new business for me. I spent significant time doing things on my own that they represented would be done as part of their service. The made numerous errors. I cancelled my service after the initial 90 days and then they charged me another month because I didn't cancel before the date they said my contract renewed. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
I have used other web services but none like Yodle. They provide the best customer service, explaining every thing, answering any questions in full, going over all web features.
The multiple features of Yodle is what every company needs to be notice on the web.
Yodle has changed my business. In one week alone I generated $21,000 worth of business from Yodle's online advertising. I'm more than tripling my investment and clients are now actively looking for my business!
Their latest scam seems to be preying on small businesses with existing Adwords accounts and making it sound like they are a division of google that works in "click fraud" and they will help you fix all the fraudulent click activity that you get from your competitors. When I asked if they are an actual subsidiary of google, they started back peddling and said they are a "PST" part of google and said that they are a "preferred partner" with google and that google actually works with them to get the latest "click fraud algorithms" from them (yodle). So I asked, google actually gets their own click fraud technology from yodle? "Well, I can't actually say that they use our technology, but we meet with them regularly to go over our stats". This smelled of BS on all levels. Stay away from these scammers!
My experience with Yodle has been excellent. Anytime I call they are very responsive and attentive. The best part about Yodle is they are effective. I have definitely noticed an increase in new business.
Great method of advertising on-line. They create a separate "Adversite" for each business. The calls that are made are recorded so they can be monitored by the owner/manager of the company. In short, it works extremely well. Much more effective than the previous advertising company we used for over 30 years.
I’ve been with Yodle for less than a month. I’ve already made $4,000 from Yodle for my wildlife removal and pest control business since signing up with them. I’m pretty amazed at how quickly this is already working.
For me Yodle has been an extremely pleasant work partner. I feel like I could call out for help at any time. Yodle has a website that is very easy to navigate and understand. Customer service is excellent!
Yodle has helped our practice increase productivity with new patients. We were especially looking for a better presence on our mobile website and now we have that. I have learned so much about marketing in the Yodle process. Their customer service is excellent, and that says a lot about a company.
We are a small service company and have used Yodle for a little over three months now and I have been quite impressed with the customer service. The package we were sold was exactly as explained by the salesman Josh. I was very skeptical at first but Josh convinced me to come aboard and give this service a chance. I think it took him almost 2 hours. We have spent a lot of money over the last 11 years with other companies to help optimize our customer base and create new ones through use of the Internet, but to no avail. We were always disappointed. I wish we would have known about Yodle back then it would of saved us thousands of dollars and countless hours of frustration. THANK YOU YODLE!
I can't rate their actual service, but when I get a call from a sales person trying to shove their service down my throat for an hour and doesn't take "no" for an answer, I quickly loose interest in their product/service. Unfortunately this strategy must be working for them as they do have many clients. In my case the harder they push the further away they get from the sale.
Tip for consumers:
It's up to you as an individual to use them or not, but their desperate sales tactics tell me enough to stay away.
Hi Gene - I'm sorry to hear that this was your experience. If you feel that you were treated unprofessionally, we'd like to look into it. Please contact me at syvenna.siebert@yodle.com or 646-770-8974 if this was the case.
Best of luck,

In detail, I spoke to another employee who transfer me to Ian Moore, He went through the set-up explaining and showing me what needs to be done, with me following on my computer. He made sure I completely understand each section throughly, he also had patience and understanding. I actually enjoy the time. Thanks and looking forward to the next time, if there is anything I forget. Thanks again for the understanding.
I received several calls from a representative asking to speak with my husband as he is the owner name on file. I asked several times what they were calling in reference to and was lied to every time. I was continually told they had questions regarding tree service, his abilities to provide certain services and scheduling availability. I told them I could answer all of those questions and he still refused to talk to me. Finally I straight out asked "Are you calling from an advertising agency?" He still did not want to answer my questions. Lying to the office manager/owner to make your way to the owner is NOT the proper way to conduct business. Why would we want to deal with a company who lies from the very first phone call? With the amount of calls I take daily, he could have stopped wasting my time and his by being honest. It is a disgusting tactic to use to obtain customers. I will be letting everyone I know who owns businesses NOT to deal with this dishonest company.
Dear Dianna,
This is absolutely not what the experience that we are trying to give potential customers, and I sincerely apologize you had to go through it. I'd like to investigate further and see if I can prevent this going forward, would you be willing to send me some details such as your phone number you were contacted at via private message?
-Mike
Yodle did every thing they said they would do, I'm on the first page of google and bing. Also, if I have any questions or concerns they have addressed promptly. If you are looking for a company to help you succeed with online advertising Yodle is your answer.
Yodle is a very good company and I get a lot of work out of them. I rate them 5 stars *****
I started with yodle early in the start of my business and they’ve really helped to brand my company & marginalize us with the top planning companies. I’ve been with yodle for years now and I see an improvement in how many people actually see the website. And when I get calls or emails people are always saying how impressed they are with it. Having an impressive website is a huge positive for me.
When I was first contacted by yodle, I was skeptical because I don't generally trust sales people who call out of the blue. But that call was the total truth. Nothing the salesman said was exaggerated; he never promised me above and beyond what I should expect. It's been a positive route from the start. Within the first 30 days I saw results, and within the first 60 days I made enough to pay for yodle for 6 months. The salesperson also told me I should expect follow up calls and sure enough I still get calls from reps making sure I'm being taken care of. I actually feel important to the company. Like they need me as much as I need them. I'm happy I took that call and signed up. I may believe salesmen more now!
Yodle talks one way before you give them your bank info then demand in a nice way to gain access to your other online connections over and over until I told them I was "Out" and demanded they close my account. A month goes by and the last person I talked to did'nt understand what I said. They get another $200.
Dewey – I’m sorry to hear about this. It sounds like there may have been a miscommunication. I’d like to clarify how our marketing program works and help find a solution. When you have a moment, could you contact me at rmoss@yodle.com or 212-542-5449?
Thank you,
Radley Moss, Director of Corporate Communications
I was overwhelmingly surprised at the simplicity of the entire process of setting up our website and marketing links on yodle. I really like the ease with which I can input or import contacts and the reminders for emails. I am looking forward to using this program for keeping our appointments important events organized for better planning and better time management.
Yodle took excellent care of us. The assistant was extremely courteous, informative, understanding and helpful in setting up our website. We spent alot of time together to ensure that our needs were met. I am very pleased with their service.
Okay, let's do the math. In the months immediately preceding them being sold, suddenly a huge number of 5-star reviews appear on this site--all brand new users with just one review. Coincidence?
My congratulations to the folks at Yodle for fooling the folks at Web.com enough for them to shell out $300 million to buy them. If I were a Web.com shareholder, I'd start shorting them now, because it won't be long before they realized they bought a worthless company that is full of good salespeople and not much else.
This company will do nothing for your small business but hurt it. Don't say you weren't warned.
Hi Bud,
I read your review and I’m sorry to hear that you have a negative perception of Yodle. We strive to provide small businesses with effective marketing solutions, supported by a stellar customer service team, and we are happy that our customers are finding success and sharing their stories. However, we do realize that we are not perfect and that every company will receive less than satisfactory ratings at some point. I would like to hear more about your experience, if you would be open to sharing additional details, could you reach out to me? We take feedback like this very seriously and I’d like to try to help. Please reach out to me at 646-768-3690 or gina.balistreri@yodle.com. Thank you!
Sat through part of a sales presentation with a gentleman with an interesting name. If you've ever sat through a timeshare sales meeting, you will be in familiar territory. As soon as I started asking questions the presentation and rapport fell apart. Ask them for phone #'s of clients in your industry who can attest to their program. See what happens. The call was ended with the sales guy telling me, "When you're ready to take control of your client base, you have my contact info." The fact is that their model is bad and can damage any legitimate SEO efforts you've already made.
And just look at the astroturfing on this review site. Someone logs in almost every day to give 5 star reviews that sound nearly identical. Look how many mention "Diana" or the word "skeptical". They need to hire a separate company to do the copy writing for their reviews.
Hi David – my name is Radley Moss. I’m Yodle’s Director of Corporate Communications. Would you mind contacting me at either rmoss@yodle.com or 212-542-5449 to let me know who you spoke to on our sales team? It sounds like the rep behaved unprofessionally and we will take action if that is the case.
Additionally, I want to assure you that all of the positive reviews listed on Sitejabber are from our clients. You can also find testimonials from other customers on our website at http://www.yodle.com/success-stories that attest to the success they’ve enjoyed with our SEO offering as well as the rest of our marketing platform. As a business, we would certainly never engage in the practice of posting fake reviews about Yodle on Sitejabber.
Thank you,
Radley
When I decided to work with Yodle, I was very skeptical. Spent $3000 per month on adwords on Google. Went with the same budget for our mental health clinic through Google. What impressed me with Yodle is the representative Meredith Jones. We spoke regularly and she has been very attentive to our needs and questions. The first month is scary-- until the program they use kicks in. Have seen a 40% increase in viable referrals to our group. This is a great service for people who have some marketing savvy, but not enough to be successful on Google. The biggest advantage is their attentiveness. Many companies spend time with you once, then collect your money. I feel like its a real partnership. I don't see anything that would be construed as negative-- more of an issue as an enterpreneur giving control to others. But it is working and have nothing but good things to say about Yodle. We were with Yodle for over 6 months at $200/month and did not receive one valid lead that turned into a contract during this time.
We don't blame Yodle. I believe they honestly tried to get us business, but they just couldn't make it happen.
Tip for consumers:
Do not expect miracles to happen overnight. It takes time, patience, and dedication to your final goal. Effective marketing is an evolutionary process: one good step at a time.
