My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.
As an attorney who recently moved his law office after 17 years at the prior location, I was naturally concerned about updating my Yodle web site as quickly and as professionally as possible. I had two good experiences with Yodle. First, when I called them, I quickly got a hold of custormer service, and they were sympathetic to the importance of the matter and they made the changes as quickly and as professionally as possible. Second, today, I received a postcard from Bing asking me to verify the new address. Again, I called Yodle to assist me. Again, I was pleased that I got a hold of customer service very quickly. Jorge, the customer service representative, was knowledgable about Bing and gladly took the PIN number and said he would accomplish the verification. He was pleasant and comforting, and he understood the importance of verification. I feel like I am in good hands with Yodle.
I am a new customer with yodle. So far I am pleased with my experience. They have been very responsive to my questions, and have been very helpful walking me through all the tools that they have to offer to help my buisness grow.
Ryan was very helpful today in explaining Rate a Biz reviews and the relationship between Yodle, Rate a Biz, Google+ reviews and Yelp reviews. He was very patient and understanding and worked with me on a variety of solutions for reputation management. Thanks Ryan!
The Team at Yodle helped me to build a website for my business that I am so proud of! They have helped me to have confidence in the way that I am advertised online, and each of the Yodle team are knowledgeable and so helpful. I highly recommend Yodle for anyone who wants to have access to the expertise of the Team at Yodle as well as the flexibility to customize their website.
I was with Yodle and then I left to test out another company- the other company wasn’t working for me. I can count on one hand the number of jobs I got in 3-6 months with the other company. I had other forms of marketing to keep me busy to get me through that period but I knew I would go back to Yodle. It’s obvious that Yodle has the technology to work, at least for my industry. The other company I worked with didn’t have a dashboard and didn’t provide me with any way to track my ROI the way that Yodle does. The best part to me is that Yodle is always evolving and has even made improvements and changes since the last time I was working with them.
I have hired Yodle because I am not tech savvy at all. I'm a new realtor and with everything I am having to learn to do my job I do not also have time to try to get up to speed with technology. In today's market I realize it is vital to the future and success of my business to have a presence online and for that presence to be top notch and presented professionally. There have been two conference calls in my first week as they help me to get set up and familiar with the system and business plan. It has been concise and informative on just the right level. The two representatives who have worked with me, Jacquelyn and Tamika, were professional and personable and I look forward to working with them in the future. The Yodle site itself is very easy to work within and I have no doubt I will be able to utilize it a lot. I've got great hopes for the business plan Yodle is working with me to develop. So far, I am very happy with their service.
I've been with Yodle just about a year & it is begining to pay off. In the begining I didn't get very many calls & was thinking about canceling, but lately I've been geting better results. Each month i'm getting more calls & its created more jobs for me. Thanks yodle!
Wow!, Honestly, Jared went above and beyond what i could have hoped or expected. Jared, helped me set up my acct, helped me link and set up facebook, and helped me get familiar with the Yodle site and all the good things that Yodle does for small business owner's like myself to have an awesome web presence. I know have pictures on my web page, and great discription's of the services we offer.
I am a returning customer. I tried other servicers and was disappointed. Yodle has provided personalized assistance and explains the process so even I can understand it. I have recommended it to other attorneys and I wouldn't do that if I were not completely satisfied with the service I get from Yodle.
Yodle screwed up my client's local SEO. I advised him against hiring a second SEO unless our efforts would be complementary. The rep told him it would not be an issue. He is now screwed on local and in 11 more months of contract. My efforts have been effectively coopted because I had JUST begun his SEO and within a week they established citations on the highest PR sites with the wrong phone number.
My only option for this client is to create a DBA with a different business name for yodel and then brand his main business (my project) differently with different address and contact information.
If you're not hiring a REAL seo company, go ahead and use Yodel (unless you already have rankings, because they will DESTROY your existing rankings with duplicate info).
If you have no website, no rankings, no knowledge and don't care to ever own the assets you pay to produce, use Yodel.
Tip for consumers:
Only use Yodel if you don't already have any online presence and you have no plan to develop your own assets during the 12 month period you are in contract. You will lose 100% of any progress you make with yodel if you decide you don't like their services. Buyer beware.
I've definitely seen an increase in new leads since starting with Yodle. We had previously done radio advertising and were skeptical about what the yield would be from search optimization but Yodle made it pretty easy to understand that they had the best skillset amongst the competition. Yodle's customer service is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I'm very hands-on with my campaigns and they can get technical when they have to and explain the process to me so I can maximize results with my feedback. Samantha Starett was especially good at multi-tasking my needs while still maintaining a great business conversation. She was a superstar of the highest caliber. Couldn't possibly sat enough good things about her. Overall, the most exciting thing is that the forward momentum is very measurable, visible and tangible. Success is the only way to go over here and all along the way that's what each person at Yodle has helped us to accomplish.
I’ll be honest, I had read a lot of bad reviews like these and wasn’t really sure about signing up. But I decided I needed to do something. Even when I first signed up, I was still unsure about the whole thing. It was a really slow two weeks. But I’ve been with Yodle for almost two months now and am really pleased so far. I have sold almost 50k in stonework. The business has started coming in and I’m thinking of adding another crew. If you have any questions my website is www.StoneProInc.com you can contact me through there the site they built is http://www.masonrydallastx.com
The worse company in the world. There site crashed twice while setting up and they wasted two hours of our time. The worse customer service ever. BEWARE DO NOT USE. They are a rip off company... WHAT A JOKE...
Yodle requires much more of my time than I expected when it was sold to me (doing things I don't want to be bothering with). I have had problems with my information not getting updated across the web and changes that I requested Yodle make to my Adversite that I later found out were hurting my listing. (How was I supposed to know?)
If it wasn't for Gary's and Samantha's help, I think I would have cancelled my Yodle account by now. But for now, I'm still on board. Both Gary and Samantha helped a lot, but I was especially happy with Samantha's help and expertise.
I was promised one big job and one small job a month. It's been going on four months and I got one job the day after I signed up, and that was a fluke. I asked to drop their account because they didn't do as promised. They said I entered a contract and would still have to pay. They just dropped the amount i have to pay. Even though I have not gotten one call and they didn't stand up to their end of the contract, I can't let them go? If I don't do what I say on my contracts with customers, they have every right to drop me. I am wasting my money. NOT ONE JOB OFFER IN ALMOST FOUR MONTHS. I believe legally I can void this contract. I should be refunded after the third payment. They promised I would get jobs after 3 months and My Company's name would be one of the first companies on every page. Isn't this fraud?
Hey Roberta, sorry to hear you're not receiving the results you hoped for. We'd be happy to have someone review your account and see if we can make the program work for you! Private message us your details and we'll get started.^MB
As a 4 month customer of theirs, and an upstart business I was ensured first page listing on the search engines and received none. I was also informed that they would work to ensure I would get more new clients with their services, which I received NONE! And when I finally was informed on my services they said I was on the first page "just not for what I wanted" as she said I've spent $750 with them and have gotten no return on investment.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!!! Its all smoke and mirrors 4 months and no return, they prefer a 12 mo contract I've spent $750 in that amount of time I'd hate to see someone else get raked over the coals.

Thomas Standing imported into my Yodle Dashboard a huge CSV file with my contacts, and gave me access on Yodle to all 4500+ contacts I exported from my Microsoft Outlook contact list. Further, he explained how to work with them on the Yodel Dashboard and was just great explaining how to do that too. Thanks Thomas! (July 27,2016)
I try to gove business such as this one the benifit of a doubt. Yodle seems to be expecting me to pay $199/month only for me to put in all of the work and get nothing From it. BBB will be contacted if I dont see leads coming in with in the next 3 weeks.
Hi Jabaar - Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and I'm sorry to hear you haven't found more success with us. If there's anything more you feel we could be doing, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at 646-768-3690 or gina.balistreri@yodle.com. Thanks, GB.
Scam, scam, scam. They promise the moon but can't meet half of what they promise. They called me and tried to ask me to continue and the sales rep had no idea what kind of business I have. They go through sales reps and managers on a weekly basis. My initial "web optimizer" was so rude and abrasive that I had to ask for a new one to be assigned. Her name was Cassie Jones and she was the most unprofessional person I have worked with in years. WASTE OF MONEY!
I have been very happy with the performance of my yodle account. The leads that it generates are usually excllenet. I do not track my account on a cost per click but rather as a return on investment. By that mesaurement, my yodle account has been much better than other forms advertising that I have used. -- Brian Schaeffer, Schaeffer Law Firm, Houston, Texas. www.schaeffer-law.com
I received a call from Ryan Mc Donald. One of yodels sales reps. He asked me if I could give him 30 minutes of my time to go over some power points. First off it wasn't 30 minutes at all. More like 2 HOURS! Ryan wasn't there to sell me the pitch so Mr. Jones did it for him. Mr. Jones was very very pushy. He disrespected me numerous times. After the call ended Ryan called me 2 days later and I spoke to him about his colgué. He just hung up while I was expressing my thoughts.
Hey Jacob,
That's not the experience we're going for, and we'll definitely look into this. Would you mind sending us the phone number you were called on via private message?

YODLE IS SUCCESSFUL!
We have been in business for 16 years. We have tried other Marketing Companies and had little success. Yodle has shattered all other competition. When it comes to Marketing, we have had record breaking months. For what they charge, we get a great return on our Investment. The Custmer Service is dynamic in all aspects.
Horrible! Dont ever let anyone take over your advertising. They knocked my website right off the map and put up their site with their phone number so anyone who googles your biz gets their phone number not yours. They would not taylor the site like they said, they put up this half $#*! site and just leave it there, they would not even cancel it after we begged them and now I have to sue them to get rid of them. GREAT ADD PEOPLE. $#*! YODLE
I am an SEO expert - Yodel claims that it builds websites that are SEO friendly for their clients. If you view the Yodel website using Firefox click ctrl + U or from Internet Explorer go to the View menu and click on source - now click ctrl+F and type h1. You will see that the Yodel corporate site itself has about 5 h1 declarations in the code - the most basic BASIC SEO rule is that you should have one, yes only ONE h1 declaration per page! This is basic, basic SEO and Yodel cannot even get it right on their own site! What do you think they will do for you, a small business owner, who probably is relying on Yodel to be the expert and to guide you in building your site and performing Search Engine Optimization. This company is a joke. You are better off going with a local consultant than with Yodel. Did you notice that there is not one example of an actual website they have built and optimized on their corporate site?
