My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough. Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals. They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning. I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer. I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that. I can't recommend them enough!
After 5 months of 1250 per month I received ONE lead (Giving them the benefit of a doubt for one) Yodle is really good at stringing you on for more payments. Every time we called customer service they found something that should be changed to fix the problem. DON'T waste your money. There are legitimate companies out there that will yield results. Clay Blakemore finally called and made more empty promises.
I am a new customer with Yodle and I have to say it has been a wonderful experience. They take the time to explain everything to you and to make sure the program is working the way you want it to. I was a little apprehensive at first but it has been painless and a joy to work with all the staff at Yodle.
Do not transfer your Google local ownership to Yodle. They will not return it after you cancel. Plus, in effect they charge you for leads you were getting from Google local before using them, which is nuts--paying for leads you were sourcing without them.
The recorded phone calls are great not only for reviewing customers information, but awesome as well for training purposes for my employees. I had a customer call in while I was away from the shop and my employee answered, he was courteous and answered the questions of the customer, but there was some information that he had left out that I thought he knew. Thanks to the recorded phone call I was able to review that information with my employee so that he would be able to convey that information to our customers (Something that may have been happening for months and would have continued had it not been for Yodle's recording of phone call leads)
Yodle is a great marketing resource for us. Since the day we started with Yodle, our phones started ringing with great leads. The service Yodle provides is excellent. We have a dedicated manager, Meredith, who keeps our site current, relevant, and constantly generating leads. Yodle has been an excellent investment for our business.
Yodle is a total waste of my time and money. Their "services" did nothing but block my actual website and confuse my customers. They took credit for leads they I generated myself. They brought me absolutely no business. Worst of all, they continued to charge me $299/month after I asked to cancel. They will rob the small business owner blind! DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP!

This did not work for my team and we were skeptical from the beginning. I interacted with the website for a bit, requested reviews, social media, enhanced the advert site. The "leads" that came through were wrong numbers or just sales people. The salesperson told me I had to sign up for 6 months to see results. Now that 6 months are over, Yodel put me on AUTOPAY-BEWARE! This was not brought to my attention and no one called me to tell me that my contract was expiring and I would be charged. They are insisting I owe them for an extra month even after I notified them right away that I wanted to cancel. They are way too passive about contacting clients about their expiring accounts.

Wow! I am a general contractor in the Boston area and I made the mistake of contacting Yodle. I hung up on the first guy after he wouldn't answer my questions and told me to watch a video while he waited on the phone. I then proceeded to watch the video which answered 0% of my questions. I searched the site high and low to see exactly what they do and what they charge and then I called the 800 #. This guy hung up on me after I said I did not understand some of the things he was saying and when I wanted to know what I was paying for.

I needed a few changes to my website. I submitted the corrections and received an email notification that the issue was being corrected. A short time later I received another email an a phone call saying my website was fixed. Very prompt and courteous support staff.
We have been with Yodle for only a few months but have seen a substantial increase in leads with many turning to sales. Have been uncertain of the return of the organic investment but the pay per clicks have grown substantially.

I own and operate a number of residential cleaning franchises in both VA and NY and in my 3rd year of using Yodle to manage our pay per click online advertising. I would highly recommend the company because they deliver measurable results and add value with features that improve our lead management process such as call tracking. Aside from results, I have found Yodle's customer support team among the best I've ever worked with in my 25 years in the "business". I've enjoyed the fact that my support team has remained in tact the entire time I've been with Yodle and have found my reps to be easy to work with, personable, knowledgeable and quick to respond with accurate data supporting their recommendations or my requests for information.

UPDATE! AFTER MY SECOND AND LAST MONTH!
Yodle goes for the low hanging fruit. The phone rang, but the calls were from the easiest to target and hardest to make any money from. Out of the 50+ calls in the first two months maybe 10 were from my primary business area. I am not talking about conversions. Conversions are my job. These were non revenue calls and complaints. If you want to sit in your office all day and talk to people on the phone all day, give it a shot. If you need to make a living that justifies spending $1000 a month you would be better served with bidding $40 a click on AdWords yourself.
Tried this before with other companies and it always turned out to be a scam, I was sick of paying for bogus leads. I was expecting to be scammed by Yodle too, but it was well managed and it worked out. My biggest disappointed is that I didn't come across Yodle sooner.
I have been a customer of Yodle for a little over 1.5 years and it has certainly improved my business. I will admit that I was pretty hesitant when I was first contacted by them but I am glad that I am working with them.
Beth was very helpful in explaining everything about the set-up. He was charming and personal yet professional and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions about things and he was extremely present with me and helpful.
Yodle is extremely helpful in providing insight about how your business is viewed by both customers and as a business owner. They are completely open and transparent about their business practices; which is a breath of fresh air. Yodle has knowledgable staff who are not afraid to answer questions and also ask questions about the business; in order to find better ways to serve us.
Many companies claim to be the best in their industry. Yodle is quiet in talking results and speaks loudly when it's time to produce results! My only regret in dealing with Yodle is that I hadn't heard about them sooner.

I’ve gotten the results I was promised and the customers have been very good and have turned into income. I love my website – I’ve had a customer compliment my website saying it was amazing, and I love how easy it is to make changes to it. Yodle is an investment but it has paid for itself.
I am brand new to Yodle, I had a appointment scheduled to begin at 10 AM, I walked into my office at 9:57 and saw two missed calls and an email saying sorry we missed you from Yodle, I called in at 10 AM (my scheduled time) and the person informed me they were on a call with another client and had tried calling, to which I replied - we had a call scheduled at 10, it's 10, how come we are not on our call... they told me another person could take care of me and to call the main number (not the best first experience you'd like to have with a company you are paying a decent amount of money too - not keeping a scheduled time is not good business)... so anyways, I call in and eventually get connected with Dawn, she spent as much time as I needed and answered all my questions about the features, website, reviews etc. and did a great job overall. I hope in the future if I have more questions she is the individual I get to work with!
