After the 2nd season of GreenPal care, my lawn continues to improve and look great. All I have had to do is keep it cut. The GreenPal team has communicated exactly what service was needed, when the team would be performing service, and then reliably provided service. The lawn thanks them and so do I!

Although I was not satisfied with how my lawn looked this year I must complement GreenPal on how they responded to my concerns, offered a solution, and performed a service that will hopefully bring my lawn back next year. Scheduled lawn service, the company pushed service date out 3 times to almost a week after scheduled. I asked when they would be out and they said they already mowed which they hadn't. I canceled. Hired new company from site for today and they didn't show. Finally got text from them that they dont work on sundays and not sure why the site allowed for scheduled date and they cant come to mow for 3 days. I have tried since the 3rd. To get appointment. THIS SITE IS A JOKE!

I admit I was apprehensive about hiring GreenPal but they did an outstanding job (aeration and overseeding). I ask them for special attention to some bad spots and they did it willingly. Elixir and his partner deserve an attaboy for their work. I intend to continue my contact with them.

My customer was billed twice. On my end i dont see where ive been paid and it also stated that my customers card had been declinded.
The greenpal site said i had a customer complaint due to my lawn service and the customers complaint clearly stated in writing that it was a billing issue.
I sought help on the group site only to have Sarah Bradley tell me i billed her twice. I take a picture and press complete! Only once after each job!
That was my reply to Sarah. Guess what... all of a sudden im blocked from the group on Facebook.
Tacky Sarah Bradley!
As a vendor it is imperative that i treat my customer in way that i want them to call me back!
Question for you Sarah Bradley... do you think the customer ultimately by the vendor or greenpal? Didnt get any sales training from you and guess who every last customer ive ever serviced on your site will follow if it comes down too it? Still a fixable situation... GET ON IT!

GreenPal has done a Fantastic Job on my lawn and shrubs. The Technicians are friendly and courteous and willing to talk about what they plan to do and what needs to be done on my part. My lawn went from DANDELION forest to Green Grass in a month. Shrubs and Trees - no dead or wilted leaves. Absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone.

This service was recommended to me by someone that had a great experience -- but that is clearly highly variable based on the vendor that you choose. If you're thrilled with them, you likely will never have a problem. If you have a problem with your vendors your experience will be wildly different.

For me, I had one that kept cancelling, creating problems with the neighbors and the city as it became overgrown. They apparently ended up firing him, and I had to choose a new vendor. My options weren't great, and the prices from any established vendors to mow my small property were outlandish -- like 30-40% over a going rate for a direct vendor.

Worse, in the multiple vendors I went through every single one jacked up the price after the initial mow. I provided detailed information about the site, and it's basically just an empty quarter-acre lot, with a few trees. Nothing to mow around, no crazy trimming requirements, nothing complicated and you can come literally anytime and mow it. But invariably they all want more money than their lowball initial offer.

Worse, when you have issues with a vendor your only recourse is a negative review of their mow. If they're unresponsive to your attempts to communicate, or you have issues with the site you're on your own. There is no support of any kind for users.

And, when you want to cancel service, you either have to get new quotes or else cancel every service for the rest of the year one at a time. That is absolutely absurd, and fixing that would not be difficult they just choose not to.

There is also no obvious way I've found to cancel service. You can't contact support and there's no "delete my account" anywhere that I can find. They clearly have done the minimum necessary here and are not interested in improving it. As long as enough people have a positive experience with a vendor it's enough for them to keep having more money flowing in so they can't be bothered.

The online application did not work and when it finally did there was a no show! Nobody to call no recourse and my card is charged! Terrible terrible company!

GreenPal booked six months of mowings without my consent. I needed one mowing and they were a no show. When I canceled all of them the contractor showed up a day late and tried to bully me into using them at nearly 3x the amount of the original quote. When I refused he cussed me out. I cannot get ahold of their customer service to address the issue.

Edit to add: the contractor was Avilas Lawnscaping.

The lawn looks good and all of the technicians including Jeffrey and John have done a SUPERB job. Thank you for the treatment and thank you for the advice. I did not know that Crabgrass grew in South Florida until I saw the advice of GreenPal. Also, I like the lighter green color.

Have to say that I am very very disappointed. I'm in Humble Tx. It looked like an answer to prayers after going through many grass guys over four years. The first guy from Greenpal was Jr's lawn service. It is Jr., but not much of a lawn service. Young guy that does it on the side. The first few cuts were shabby, and I had to ask him to come back. I also cut a side deal for trimming trees, and he shafted me. Didn't do what I really needed, and then never came back. Made promise after promise after promise, but just simply didn't come back, there was always an excuse. So I cancelled, and tried fast Eddie. He just simply never showed. We got some heavy rain, and he promised to come back after it receded. He never made it. I text'd, emailed, tried to call, no answer. It really sucks when someone is depending on you, and you pull a ghost job on them. It is just simply wrong. No matter what the price, be a man of your word, and come to service those of us who don't cut our own yards. The only thing I liked about this company was that you have to approve the payment and job done before you're charged. Other than than, just a big big disappointment. There is also no main phone number for the company, just a dummy voicemail. No email, no way to contact anyone to get assistance.
