Got a great price, basically everything they told me that would happen and how it happened was right on. I would have given them a five but when you call it seems they struggle to find the answer, they are very nice but I don't know how to explain it, in any case other than that and the car pick up being one week instead of 2-3 days like I thought they said everything else went great! Do exactly what they tell you to do as quickly as you can and it will be a smooth process.
Bought a car Nov 2. It is now January 25. No license plate. Both temp tags have expired. I cannot drive my $750 a month car without fear of being pulled over and arrested for no legal registration. Customer service has 45 minute hold times, then they transfer and hang up on you. I call daily and nobody can help. A nightmare. Stay away.
It's been six weeks, still no payment for trade. Customer service literally lies to you in order to get off the call. I've called over 10 times. My trade is already sale pending on their site and they haven't paid for it. Scammers
Tip for consumers:
Buying is not awful, but don’t expect a registration soon.

Vroom appears to be effective at selling cars until payment is made. Once they receive payment customer service and communication cease. Been waiting over 6-weeks for my title. Contacting them accomplishes nothing other than spending a lot of time on hold as you are transferred from one rep to another. I did not believe this experience could be worse than dealing with a salesman but it certainly has been. Never again!
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use Vroom
I have never been so ignored, lied to, and mislead EVER by any company, and I've dealt with some shady companies. From the very beginning I was mislead about the price by over a thousand dollars, then I was ignored for weeks, then my promised 14 day delivery window was extended twice, and now I'm stuck paying hundreds in extra rental fees because this scam of a company refuses to honor even a single promise they've made. It's impossible to get anyone to call or email you back, and I haven't received a response in at least two weeks. What started out as a decent deal has become a nightmare made even worse by the apparent lack of concern on the company's part. Vroom stops just shy of malicious and I can't recommend more that you use literally any other company on the planet.

Worst car buying experience. I've been waiting for four months to get my license plates. I've called six times about it and been on hold for an hour every time. The conversation has been identical every call with no progress. They are waiting for an emissions test which I'm not required to have, I've sent them information pointing this out but for some reason they can't put two and two together.
They are completely incompetent, they've even acknowledged the fact that I don't need an emissions test but for months I've had zero progress.
I know what you're thinking, "how bad could it be?" It can be bad! It's not worth it!
I don't even know where to start with this company. As I type this I'm on the phone with Vroom. Been on hold for over a hour and a half. I bought my car through vroom in May. Easy process and lots of communication till they got the money and my other car. After that no one knows what the other person is doing. I've made at least 3 dozen phone calls in the past 4 months. All I want is my tag and all I get is misinformation. I've mailed in documents multiple times that they requested yet still nothing. Worst company. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from Vroom.
Bought vehicle in October and not to bad of a process, until…. They get your money. Got my temp tags but it expired in 12-22 and now it's 12/27. After at least 4 calls, multiple emails I'm still waiting on another set of temp tags, let alone my actual ones (CA). Love the vehicle but hate incompetent reps who pretty lie in trying to help you. I'm now chatting with their social media people on trying to get a resolution. Won't hold my breath.
Car was either misrepresented and/or damaged on the way. You expect more from an $80.000 luxury car. Imagine what they do with the rest. And the follow up/disclosure of information has been zero. We're hoping our state attorney generals office gets to the bottom of this - and these.
6 months! Yes 6 months to get my title and registration! I literally covered up the car cause I could no longer get a temp tag. After endless calls and emails, I finally got the title and had to register it myself. I would never do business with them again and I implore you to go somewhere else. Worst experience ever!
To get things moving (Not that anything worked): Contact Vroom customer support, TX DMV and file a report, TX Attorney General and file a report, contact your finance company and refuse to make payments.
The worst experience! I am still dealing with issues months later. It was all fine until I started the buying process. Price was good, it's what hooked me in and convinced me to use Vroom. After starting the buying process it turned into a headache.
Still haven't done the registration and plates. I do not recommend this company
They email me we will contact you I gave my phone number but they never called me
I hope I will get my plate :(

I sold my car on Aug 5 th. Sent my title and signed contract back to them. Aug 6th got confirmation e-mail that car will be picked up. Today is Sep 15. Car still hasn't been picked up. Every day they lie and tell, it will be picked up in 24-48 hours. After 45 days, it still sitting in my drive way. They have the title. I can't even sell the car until these guys return by tithe. I will file a complaint with PA state attorney general. To get my title back.
I bought a Dodge Challenger through. The only time they would talk to me was when I was buying the car. I was not kept updated on the delivery process at all, my emails stopped being returned and all of a sudden when I call I'm on hold and no ever answers. They call you from random numbers in the beginning it seems like so you won't have their direct number.
This place is a joke. After you purchase a vehicle you get several numbers for "customer service" that are trying to confuse you and buy time! I am waiting on tags like so many others. Buy a car and get the run around should be their advertisement. I hope this torture ends soon!
God only knows how much it costs me to pay for this car that vroom sold me as if it had no accident and supposedly guaranteed by carfax of no problem only scratches and the rubber on the door is glued with superglue but when I put it against the sun I looked at the door had another color that obviously is not the original door I was so disappointed in these people who cheat good people! Please do not buy with this company they are not honest they sell you cars in bad condition and then they do not answer the phones, hopefully they will sue them and comply with all the damage they have committed!
This has been the worst car buying experience ever. Communication from this company was horrible, after the initial purchase I had to make all contact with them even when they required additional documents or such. Tagging the vehicle has been a nightmare and still isn't complete and at this point the taxes on the vehicle are late. Because of the experience I have had with this company I will never again buy from an online dealer.

I am in middle of buying from VROOM and its embarrassing to watch these folks stumble around with no answers on how to fix a contract with miscalculated sales tax. Top it off with - trying to talk to anyone that knows what is going on and how to fix it during a contract expiration date looming.
I want this to be over but the have me due to the non-refundable $250 deposit. I want out - beware of the gotcha!\

Run away go buy local! Still waiting 6 months to get tags and registration. They don't care about you once they get the money. No contact with not one person for 2 weeks! I'm paying for a car that I can't even drive!
No communication or answers to explain or correct numbers not matching on different pages of paperwork sent via email. No return calls - you must initiate all contacts - and wait while be shuffled off to another clueless associate. The sales agent who sets up the sale magically disappears once the deposit is sent. OH - and deposit is not refundable even when they have made mistakes and ignored your attempts to get it corrected! Must say it was better to lose the deposit then send full amount for purchasing something when not certain what vehicle you are actually purchasing! We stop short of saying they are fraudulent, but that is the only word that can be applied after our experience. I would advise anyone considering buying from Vroom to reconsider or expect LONG waits, both for emails, calls, instructions and perhaps the vehicle you wished to purchase. Buyer beware!
Sent me right car, wrong rims and tires, broken accessories, empty gas tank. And left on hold all day to their classical music instead of dealing with my issue! I ordered the black rim package, I got silver and nobody has an explaination.
Picked a car... filled app out. Got a call 10 seconds later and rep took additional info. Called back in an hour congratulating me on getting approved. Needed pic of drivers license and would get an email with delivery date. That is the last I have heard from them.
DO NOT trust this company. Worst possible car buying experience ever! No One r we returns your calls. Pushy. No salesman is ever available. They lie about financing. Add on every little thing. Bought locally for the same price. $$ looks good at first but they increase the price by $8000. Not worth it! Save your time and money and go else where.

I've had to clear my schedule on three separate occasions now because my delivery date keeps getting postponed and Vroom does not notify me. Each time, I had to call Vroom in the afternoon in search of delivery details because I had received none, only to for them to respond with how they're "happy to let me know the car is coming on a different date". This is ridiculous. When I asked the spokesperson if there was a number she could give me or someone else I could talk to to remedy the situation, she said the best she could do was "note down my experience". Car did finally arrive on the fourth day, but was unwashed/cleaned when it was delivered.
Tip for consumers:
This site is great if you have a particular car in mind and don't mind waiting a bit for delivery.

Purchased a car with Vroom because I wanted a specific model and they had it. The delivery of my car repetitively got delayed, it is now estimated to arrive a week past the original delivery date and I'm not holding my breath that it will actually be here. Customer support has not answered a single email I have sent them. I am extremely frustrated with this process and this company. In addition they insist they "have to" register your car for you so I can't choose my own plates. A small thing but again, annoying and disappointing. I will NEVER use Vroom again and do not recommend them to anyone.

I sent an email to you about my car. If nothing is done about this situation I will file a civil lawsuit against this company. I was told by the mechanic that a check engine can be shut off and once it's driven for a while it will come back on. So that means Vroom sold me a faulty car and paid off my car in a hurry so I couldn't get it back. There's a 90 day warranty on my car covered my Vroom and they only want to fix the first problem. Tires and brakes should have been inspected and changed before the car was sold. I was sold a lemon and Florida have lemon laws for these types of problems. All I'm asking is to fix whatever problems this car has or I will be forced to file a lawsuit against this company for selling me a bad car. Most companies give 30 days or 1000 miles to see if you want the car. 7 days it's enough to address any issues the vehicle may have.
