If you are outside of the US territory do not shop on this website. I had 50% of the value of my purchase on tax duties. So for a 70cnd$ purchase i was charged 31$ of duties. This would have been fine if i have been informed prior to purchase that there were going to be duties. Totally unacceptable. Never again will i buy from them! Worst thing is that you have to pay 22,99$ to return the package within only 28 days and shipping back to the warehouse could take 21 business days. If for some reason it takes more then the 28 days, then there is a refund bu the form of a refund voucher instead of money back to your original payment. This Website is a SCAM. No way I will biuy again from them.
I have purchased a total of 13 items from ASOS. While most of them have been good purchases, my last two were absolute trash. The first one came with a broken strap and the second one came in a damaged parcel and was covered in black smudges (see photos). I am really bummed because I have enjoyed their clothing selection and prices for a while. But after two strikes like that, I'm not willing to waste money on shipping having to return damaged items. Also from what I've researched, they are not a very ethical company. Not always my top priority, but another gripe I have with them. I'd say overall it's pretty hit or miss.
I'd never ordered from them before so I ordered one thing to see how their sizing was. They have a Canadian site so I didn't think anything would be wonky but their shipping is expensive af, $15 base on a $30 item and then it came with a $25 C. O. D. Which Canada Post confirmed to me wasn't a tax or duty charge. They didn't know what the charge was for because it was written in by the company. I tried to contact their customer service but the only working options were through facebook or twitter which is the stupidest thing I've ever seen in customer service, especially when they asked for my email and order number over twitter "because they value they customer's privacy and security". Oh and they charge you a $25 fee for returns from Canada...
The whole company's a mess, I won't be ordering from them again and neither should you.
Honestly one of the worst companies I've had to deal with. Have ordered from ASOS previous to 2020 and never had to pay any duties or customs charges. This year I put in 5 orders as I am rebuilding my wardrobe. I received the first of my packages I paid $82 for and was charged $39 on delivery as a COD (cash on delivery fee). I went onto the Canada Govnt duties calculator website and calculated that if there are duties on $82 worth of clothes it would be $19. Then I received 2 more of the pick up tags I have to pay $60 on a $210 order and $23 on a $52 order. These are also much higher than the Canada Govnt website says they should be. I emailed ASOS to ask why they are so high and of course they told me "they have no control over duties/ customs charged" and to contact the courier. Well I called Canada Post the same day and they told me there actually are NO customs or duties charged on these packages and the COD is charged BY THE SELLER! I emailed them again and asked why and for a refund of my $130 I had to pay for no reason at all and of course they are lazy and don't want to look into anything so they just told me I can send the packages back for a refund. What a joke. Will probably be paying another $250 in COD fees for nothing. Warning Canadians do not buy from here. Would also pay huge amounts to ship the packages back.
I have a few issues. I spent $85 on 4 ASOS items, and paid $30 in customs. At first I was okay with it because I had gotten such a great deal on the items anyway. Until I opened the items, i realized that they are poor quality. I cant imagine how upset I would have been if I paid full price. Then I noticed that they sent me the wrong item. I tried to create a return, but they expect me to pay $22 to return the item. They expect me to pay for their mistake. If they were to send me the correct item, I would have to pay customs again! Never buying from asos again.

I was told to wait for my order for 2 MONTHS. It has been 35 days since I ordered it. Now they say: Contact us in a MONTH. This is insane! I have been receiving orders from different companies with some delay, BUT 2 months is beyond common sense. Will I receive my parcel? Will I get money back? If customer service is that bad, not sure about the quality of the products... This was my first and the last order from them. I have no problem with any companies - ZARA, NordstromRack, BrownShoes - received everything during pandemic with little or NO delay.
Never again will I order from this site. The quality of their clothes is somewhat decent, but their sizes are so off that one item will be large and one small for the same size. I tried to create a return, and it was supposed to email me a label. Not only did I not receive an email, now the site won't let me create another return label. I have been emailing customer service for weeks, and they send me generic instructions on "how to create a label". They don't care. They have my money and there's not much I can do. HORRIBLE

Broken tracking - doesn't work, no record of package. Customer service keeps asking me to wait every time I message them. Week at a time. Their fb chat (messenger) never gets answered, I have messages there from a year ago that still haven't been answered. Their twitter doesn't get answered. Neither do emails or and their website chat doesn't work 99% of the times. A nightmare of an experience!
After making a purchase with a promise of 5 standard days delivery, they extended it for 3 weeks without informing me. I then tried to cancel the order as I was moving due to the coronavirus, which they did not care about. They said as soon as it's sent out I can email and cancel it, even though consumer rights say that if they haven't delivered it by the time frame promised I'm allowed a refund. I then wait for 3 weeks to get an email from Gnewt, the courier of their choice to say they got my package and that it's at their depot. I call ASOS as advised by themselves, and they tell me they'd reach out to their courier to stop it, and get it back. They don't reach out in time and Gnewt attempts to deliver to an address I am no longer at. Lucky the concierge refuses it, but ASOS says that the package has to come back to them before I am refunded, even though I never received the package, and it's been with their courier. The courier has now had the package for 2 weeks and not gotten it back to ASOS so they are saying they can't refund me until their own courier returns their package. They are withholding my money, and I would not recommend shopping from ASOS. I don't know if they'll issue a refund as their customer service is non-existent.
Terrible quality clothes with horrible sizing. I ordered two dresses. The material itself is very cheap feeling and the sizing is odd. The sleeves are tiny while other parts of the dress fit.
If your shipping orders to CAnada don't unless you wanna be charged heavy dutie/ tax prices I order 167$ worth and had to pay 95 dollars before ups was able to drop my order. Not worth it!
So my dress came, it was late but taking into consideration what's going on due to COVID not overly delayed. My disappointment started when the dress was missing 2 buttons. No big deal, I contacted them to send replacements. Their reply was the big disappointment: please mail back the dress for a refund and order another! Are they crazy? They expect me to pay to mail the dress back and order and wait for a new one? Could they not simply mail me 2 buttons? I'd have to be desperate before ordering from them again.
I hadnt ordered from Asos for over 2 years and I recently put in an order march 2nd That was a very big mistake. It's now April 28th and I still dont have my order. I've contacted customer service countless times and noone is willing to actually help I've been given the run around so many times and all I want is a damned refund. I ordered a dress which ended up being too large but I really liked the dress. I wanted to exchange it for a smaller size but still maintain my original discount (had gotten 15% off discount). I tried to reach out to customer service but there is no phone number so I had the option to reach out via Facebook or email. The email account didn't work so I tried Facebook. I never got a response on Facebook and instead got an automated email about 1 day later directing me back to the website. There was never an opportunity to speak to anyone to resolve the issue. TERRIBLE customer service if you cannot even speak to or contact a representative.
Asos sells expired skin care and cosmetic items without telling the consumer first, and then refuses to refund you because it still has a week left before it expires. I bought a foundation a week ago and it was clearly marked it expires in May, and I have one week to use it before it goes bad. ASOS never mentioned in the description or on the website that the items they are selling are near expiration. They just expect the consumer to take the fall for them needing to clear out old inventory.
I gave asos the second chance and the same bad thing happened this time.
I ordered Nike sneakers(140), i opened the package and it smelled so bad, like some 10 sneakers from chinese cheap shop, they weren't even delivered in the original shoe box, so I think they're FAKE. This was the last time i order something from ASOS! Total disappointment
Terrible customer service! Today I recieved my long awaited package from asos, only to be greeted by an unpleasent surprise. Instead of the newbalance sneaker (worth 110) I ordered, they sent a knitted men's pullover, worth 49$. I immediately contacted asos, they replied briefly however they don't want to replace the item, instead they're asking me to send back the wrong item (appr.: 14 days) then they'll regund me the price of the shoes ( another 10 days) and only then can I reorder the shoes. They are practically resolving this issue as a refund of an unwanted item. Whereas it's clear that they made a mistake, and I think the absolute minimum for such a huge company should be to immediately send the correct item. I don't recommend anyone to shop on this site unless you're happy with receiving the wrong item and be treated like you made a mistake.

Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.

Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
